"It does seem to look familiar", he'd say as he'd remember Ryan having a jewel , then being sucked into a weird realm. He'd suddenly jilt as a screech was heard, "doesn't seem like we're alone here, Vain", he'd say.

They'd brush themselves off after a well earned fight, being surrounded by threatening birdlike creatures. "So you're telling me that you know what I'm after and he sent the same message to you", Somotha would say. Revin nodded, "he's somewhere in this area of the cosmos, last I remembered he was supposedly imprisoned somewhere around here". A screeching sound soon erupted, "Something doesn't want us here".

The fire in his arm increased in power as the screech was heard, "looks like this is it", he'd say to himself as he'd stand up. "Say stranger, you can't just walk out of here in your condition", an ogrish female would say, "you still need your rest". He'd smile kindly, "Thank you for everything but I must face this...my friends are out there". She'd look at him, his scar and everything..."it's been so long since I saw you lying down in the cemetary, I don't want to see you there again...take this", she'd say as she handed him a necklace, "it belonged to my son". He'd nod respectfully and take his leave.

(sorry it was so long, I was listening to a song that just influenced this moment)

They were surrounded! Bird creatures hissed hungrily around them, "Can't take 'em all", Revin'd say, as he'd take his staff out. "I got an idea!", Somotha would say as he took out both his swords as he'd hack through each of them while running, Revin not too far behind.

He'd wince at the noise itself as the Screech tends to get louder and a bit more intense before toning down and increasing, "It's like a noisy seesaw, dang!". Suddenly, they'd hear footsteps...running coming down their direction. Spath took out his sword ready.

Revin and Somotha busted through them with a murder of enforcers flying over them,Revin stopped in front of Spath, "you look familiar". "what are you doing, let's get the hell out of here!", Somotha'd shout.

Spath stared at Revin for a second, "...we can discuss this later!", he'd say as he'd prepare his sword. Somotha prepared his sword as well. Revin took out his staff and spun it, ready for a fight.

The ambushing murder flew down upon them and charged at them ready for an assault outnumbering each and every one of them roughly forty to one. "There's a lot of them...we're surrounded yet again", Somotha'd mention. Spath grinned, "I like those odds" charging in first.

Three of them would attempt to crowd Revin only for him to dodge each one lazily, using Capoiera-like movement to spinkick each and every one of them off, Fire ignited from his feet, "nothing worse than cooked crow".

Somotha would slash up and down with his sword of fire and his sword of Ice until he'd hear, "Hey! you're using my sword!".

One would attempt to attack Somotha until it'd turn frozen, "I'll take that", a kid would say as he takes one of Somotha's swords. "Jeremiah!?", Spath would say, slightly taken aback. "Yeah, I received a signal that he would be around here someplace, I've been trekking for a while but it's hard to locate something without your sword", he'd say glaring at Somotha.

"Let's get going", Revin stirred as they'd watch Vain.

"I think I heard something coming from this way", Revin would say as he'd make a left. Spath soon approached the sleepy warrior, "How do you recognize me?". Revin placed a hand on Spath's shoulder, "You still don't remember, huh kid?", he'd say, "hey, once we find Ryan, we'll be able to explain a bit better". Jeremiah swung his sword in the air, his appearance has changed quite a bit since he was last seen as his hair grew, his eyes became a bit more slender and he got taller, "It's pretty light since the last time I used this", he'd say swinging with one hand. A Screech skeeved through the air...

He'd trek on as the SCREECH got louder, "It's coming".

Somotha held his ribs as he slowly coughed up a little blood. "Somotha..", Jeremiah said, "It's nothing, I'll be fine, we just can't deal with whatever's coming", Somotha mentioned. The screech although loud, seemed distant, "it won't attack until it's ready", Jeremiah said, "I heard about this...if I'm not mistaken, it's fierce but still in it's larval state". "You mean you know what it is?", Revin asked. Jeremiah nodded, "If I'm not mistaken, it's the Muertes Crow, I learned about them while on my interstellar affairs". Most people still have no idea just what Jeremiah was doing during his absence. "Don't seem like any of us are ready for something like that, but if we have a time limit as to when it arrives, I suggest we go forth and destroy it before it destroys us", Spath mentioned. Jeremiah made a scowl, "That's not a bad idea, but we should really rest up, Somotha's in dire condition, Vain's kinda out and the rest of us barely survived that ambush, in any case...we should just rest up".

"So where do I find these guys", he said to himself, flame burning bright as he walked.
