((Well, I have CHURCH in the morning! OOHOHOHO! *cackles and stuff*))

Avalon shook her head at Peter's claim to be alright. She knew for a fact he wasn't, but didn't persue that matter just yet. She DID though, offer a fairly solid punch to Peter's side at the bikini comment. "How many times do I have to tell you that I HATE swimming? The spankies are enough torture..." She tried to hide the fact that her face had gone a bit red.

Though, Petey took on a far more serious tone and she looked up at him, a thin eyebrow raised. "At least YOUR instincts can't be trusted... Just because whatever it was that was in that glass LOOKED like chocolate mousse..." She flashed a grin. "What DOES bad milk taste like anyway?"

She gave a sigh, "Yeah, I guess your right. Those guts and all. Can't do much when they're being tugged... Seen a doctor about that?" She gave a more real smile than she'd been managing earlier. "And don't you talk to me about being a loser, Peter..." But she trailed off when he sunk down to the ground, put his hands on her shoulders, and made her crack up.

Once her peals of laughter slowed, she took a deep breath and managed, "Alright, I'll make this mistake, but when things don't work out how we planned, YOU'RE paying the support... AND the court costs. Sound like a deal?" She held out a hand for Peter to shake.

Faking him out on the handshake, she gave him a bit of a shove and stood to her INCREDIBLY intimidating height of 5'3'' and put her hands comically on her hips, glaring up at Peter. "Now, mister, if you don't buck up and learn that you ARE good at many a thing, I might have to KNOCK," She smacked him on the head, "Some sense into you. And I swear, if that guitar's not in the van when we leave, you'll have the snot beat OUT of you after the sense goes in. You got it, punk?"

((WOOSH. Hahaha aka and I are on a random tangent. I SORRIES! I did NOT plan this! IT JUST HAPPENED! *waves arms*))

Nada watched Sandra pull clothes out one by one. In Nada's lap was an open sketchbook and she had a pencil in hand. As her sister worked, Nada intently drew her. And it looked amazingly realistic. Everything drawn was almost clone like of her sister except for the pose the child was in.

At their door came a knock and she saw her Dad's strong face peep in. He was tall like a basketball player. He also amitted to playing in highschool and some of college, but ended up going into the buisness part of it instead of playing. Nada had been stuck with her mother's height.

"Who else is going?" he asked, sitting beside his oldest daughter, brown eyes watching his daughter's hands move in rapid movements as she continued to shade her sister's face. "You have amazing talents girl..." he mumured.

"Thanks...Wally's going." she said softly, putting the pencil down and looked up to her dad.

"Wallace, eh?" She knew his dad liked the boy a lot. If he had any say about it, he would have chosen Wallace to be Nada's husband...but he knew his daughter had a crush on a certain someone else. Wally was Nada's best friend since they were in preschool. Wally had been over every day of their lives until Jr High when they left the house to hang out elsewhere. "I trust that kid...but what about the others?"

"Peter...Avalon...Rachel and Anna." Nada looked back to Sandra who began folding like a little house keeper and putting Nada's clothes into her suitcase perfectly. "All my friends."

"I don't trust that girl..." Her dad said, likely about Rachel. He knew how much the girl got on Nada's nerves. "You won't be able to take a break from them."

"I can get Wally to beat her up. Or I can just steal her wallet and give it to some drunk b*****d." she laughed, obviously joking about the whole thing. "Dad...I like Rachel...she's my friend, and she invited me to do this. Please let me go."

"Wally is going? For sure?"

Nada blinked. Well he had said he was going...but his parents...she had doubts. Wally had to go, if he didn't she'd drag him away with her. "Yeah, for sure dad. I'll be safe, I promise."

Her dad got up and walked over to Nada's painting, starring at it with thought. "Hmmmm..."

She put the sketchbook on top of Sandra's folding job and closed her suitcase. "Pleaaaase dad...maybe someone will see my paintings and want to hire me out there. I'll have so many oppurtunities to expand my artwork dad."

"Ahhhh...fine! Fine! But you better pack everything before I change my mind." He walked to the door and looked over his shoulder. "I'll talk to your mom about it."

"THANK YOU! I LOVE YOU DAD!" she squeeled happily and packed everything she needed, including gags and joke items to tease people with. And of course, Sandra's own paintings. She promised her sister to show people them, and she would, no matter what.

((YAY! Load of crap...but there isn't much to do as of now...until Kiki posts...))

((ZOMG I POST AGAIN! And hopefully it'll take us OUT OF THE TAAANGENT! *flop* Not that I don't just LOVE tangents!))

Peter smiled broadly as Avalon burst out laughing at his antics, and looked strangely embarrassed. Though he seemed to play if off as he reached out with his hand to shake her own, laughing himself, but was cut short as he was shoved back and he rocked to his feet to keep his balance. He pin wheeled his arms for a moment and then righted himself with a playful scowl.

"What a little p***k! What's up with that!? Shoving me like that! I oughta punch you in the boob!" He exclaimed with a laugh, but then shook his head as he was smacked on the forehead. He rubbed at his abused head, still smiling. "I'd need a LOT of beating to have any sense make it into this head..." He trailed off and smiled a very small smile. "But... I'll... I'll bring it." He said with his eyes averted to his feet and he looked like he might have said something else, but he shook his head and ran a hand through his hair.

He coughed. "I mean! COME ON! I coughed up a lot of money for that piece of crap guitar! You'd think I'd leave it here?! WITH MY SISTER?! Ah, she'd stick stickers on it or something... and name it Daisy." He laughed. "Speaking of said sister... wanna go switch her shampoo with honey so we got something to do until we gotta go meet at Rachel's? Unless you wanna stick around outside...? I got some leftover pizza if you want... I have a whole other box that Jackie isn't smart enough to find."

And whether Ava wanted that pizza or not, Peter vanished inside to get it... he was hungry again.

((hahaha, what the heck? I dunno... I'LL PUNCH YOU IN THE BOOB! I can wait for a TIME SKIPSSSS... or... something...))

((OMG OUT OF TANGENT! *cackles and writes*))

"Punch me in the boob?" Avalon cocked an eyebrown, looked down at her boob, then shrugged. "Interesting location choice. Which side?" She laughed and hopped to her feet. "Well, a lot of beating I can provide. All those hops and flips in cheerleading paid of in their own cruel way I suppose. I can beat up boys." She gave a childish grin. "At least skinny pale ones."

Her grin faded into a pleased sort of smile. "And if it's brought, it has to be played. Otherwise, that's just torture to the poor instrument. Heck, maybe you can teach me a bit... I only fiddle." She wrinkled her nose, "And as strangely fun as it is, it doesn't do so well for most bands."

"Well, then Daisy we must save... And Jackie's too smart for the honey in the shampoo, but vanilla pudding for the conditioner? She'll never know what hit her!" Avalon gave a rather frightening cackle and nodded that she'd indeed stay. "Pizza sounds good." And she followed him into the house.

((I'm back, lovers! HOMG I KNOW I ROCK. I mean...suck, cause this didn't come earlier. If you saw my life, you would forgive me, I am very sure! I actually started typing this yesterday afternoon but things...came up. Anyway, on with the show!))

Rachel parked her white Jetta in the far space in her family's four-car garage. She was so excited about the upcoming road trip that she dashed into the house and yelled, "Saaaaa--aaam! Guess what's mine and not yours and also guess where I'm going IN THREE DAYS!" She left the back hall and made her way to the kitchen, where her elder brother--who was home on one of the rare occasions that he had neither school nor work to attend to--was eating a plate of canneloni.

"What's yours and not mine, and where you're going in three days? Are they the same thing?"

"YES!" She shouted, leaping up in the air happily. "Mum and Daddy are selling me...the chaleeeeet! My friends and I are buying it together, and we're leaving to drive up there and LIVE THERE in THREE DAYS! How jealous are you? Come on, don't hold back. Lay it on me."

Sam did, indeed, look a bit jealously shocked. "I can't believe they're GIVING that to you. Why didn't they give it to me? What the hell!"

"Oh, Sam, I'm buying it. My first investment in the housing market! Maybe I'll be a real estate giant like...like Donald Trump when I'm older. You think? I'd look sexy in a little suit, yeah?"

"How can you afford that, Rach? It's worth like..like hundreds of thousands of dollars at least. You don't even have a job yet. You won't have an actual job for like ten more years, when Dad retires...if he lets go that early."

"Yeah, well, I have to do something with myself until then, don't I?"

"How about...going to school...?"

"Oh, school sucks. I'll go to college when I'm good and ready...hell, you said it yourself, I've got like a decade, don't I? Besides, you know very well that I'm marrying rich! Who needs school?"

Sam just rolled his eyes, giving up the argument. "You are the most trivial girl I have ever met."

Rachel frowned, giving the side of her brother's head a light shove. "That's a cruel thing to say, Samuel. I'm certainly not trivial. Just because my life isn't absolutely riddled with problems like yours is, you horrible little emo whore?"

Sam looked down at his attire incredulously. "Emo, Rachel?"

"Never mind. You can't spoil my good mood, brother, darling! I'm going up to my room to start packing."

And with that, Rachel turned on her heel and disappeared up the stairs, already contemplating how she could possibly choose what clothes to bring, and how she could fit them all in one little suitcase.

____________________________________________

Rachel woke up three days later literally with a grin on her face. She rolled out of bed and did a little dance around her room, singing something barely coherent about the mountains and driving and playing in a real band. Then it was off to have an hour-long shower, since she was pretty sure that hour-long showers weren't going to be a regular thing when road-tripping. When she was done, she quickly dried her hair, and then decided it was time for THE single most important part of the day: Getting Dressed. She threw open her walk-in closet and put her hands on her hips, cocking one hip to the side dramatically.

"What to wear on Day One of The Road Trip?" She asked no one, glancing around at her only barely diminished wardrobe. She planned on having her parents ship her everything she wanted but couldn't cram into her suitcase once she got to the chalet, since they were going to be living there for awhile, at least.

Already with an outfit in mind, she marched inside and picked out a pair of chocolate brown tie capris, a lacy white camisole, and a turquoise half-sleeve henley, which she undid all of the buttons on. She then threw on some brown leather flip-flops with white beaded straps, and some brown wooden jewelry. She stood in front of the mirror, and said quietly, "That's casual enough for a road trip, isn't it?"

Shrugging to herself, she set about doing her hair and makeup.

By the time she was finally done, it was only 11:00 AM (she'd gotten up early out of excitement), but she figured that even lazy teenagers would want to get up if it was to drive to the mountains! So she rang everyone up and told them, "Lover, get your a** over to my house ASAP! It's Road Trip Time!"

Now, all she had to do was wait.

((SORRY THIS TOOK SO LONG OMG I was trying to get it finished for like the last ENTIRE DAY but it's like tree-decorating day and we were baking cookies and all this...so I was like typing two sentences at a time between doing things haha with my family so. heart Forgive me, loves!))

Peter, a boy who normally had no issues falling asleep, would reluctantly admit to anyone who'd bother to ask that he had only just managed to fall asleep a few hours ago. Pressed up against the wall beside his window with one foot propped up on the corner of his bed and various limbs draped about various objects about his messy room... It looked like the teen had had a pretty rough night. He only took to sleeping on the floor when he REALLY had trouble getting to sleep, and he could never tell you what sleeping on the carpet did to put him to sleep so easily.

So, no one could blame him when the phone, that was placed so conveniently beneath his pillow, began to ring and in response he groaned quite loudly and muttered several profanities in a quick solid stream so one could not tell one from the other. He jerked his head up from the confines of his severly beaten pillow, his hair sticking up at an impossible angle on the left side of his head, and a bit of drool still dribbling down the side of his face.

"Hello?" He muttered sleepily to his room, eyes still tightly shut. The phone rung a third time and fourth time in response. He grunted and stuffed a hand beaneth his pillow and then extracted the receiver, sticking it to his mouth and ear.

"Hello?" he tried again in a pathetically tired voice, and this time was rewarded with an answer.

"Lover, get your a** over to my house ASAP! It's Road Trip Time!" Sang Rachel's voice, followed with a click as she hung up.

Peter furrowed his brow, and nodded his head. "Alright..." he muttered into the phone, even as the ring tone had returned.

The bedheaded individual then returned the receiver to it's holder and stumbled to his feet, rubbing hard at his tired eyes. He then stood very still for a long moment, blinked, and meandered towards the bathroom to get a quick shower.

In about an hours time Peter was in his car with all the things he needed for the trip piled up in the dusty back seat. As any tired person would, he had grabbed a pair of shorts from his floor as well as a t-shirt and merely stepped into a pair of flip flops before heading out the door. He hadn't even bothered too much with his wet hair which was still dark and damp from his shower and was curling a little around his ears. To top everything off, he had on the face of a very tired individual, complete with slack mouth and drooping eyelids. Though, he figured he really didn't have time to bother, because he promised he would pick up Avalon... who was probably pissed for him taking so long in the first place.

"Man... why we gotta leave so early?" He muttered to himself and waved vaguely out his window at his father and sister on the front porch. "See ya when I see ya!" He called in a sleepy voice and reversed out of the driveway.

Jackie waved grudgingly and looked to her fater. "Is he really awake enough for the road?" She asked him.

"... Probably not." Her father responded, laughing a little as Peter's car (that had in fact turned left instead of right) came back around heading in the right direction. "Just hope he isn't made the first person to drive on the trip."

Peter not too much later (though he did accidently run some stop signs) arrived safetly at Avalon's house and pounded on her door. "Let's get MOVIN', Ava!" he called in the general direction of her room's window. "I didn't wake up before 2 to wait for you!"

((yeeeesss... and Ala can get us to Rachel's house so we don't waste too much times... BUT CARPOOLING HELPS THE ENVIROMENT! *drools and stumbles off to finish her homework*))

((Mmmmm. Posts.))

Late to bed, early to rise makes a certain Avalon very cranky. And indeed, when the phone call came 'round 11:05, she was dead asleep. She'd already had nearly everything she needed packed, and so was in a simple pair of shorts (made from cut off sweat pants) and an old tank top. And from the looks of it, had lost quite a fight with her comforter. She was completely entangled in it.

So when the phone rang, was answered in two rings, and followed by her mother's high-pitched voice shouting upstairs, Avalon rolled out of bed (landing rather harshly on her hip) and grunted an acknowledgement that was phone was for her. Squinting against the morning light, she found her way to the phone, only to hear a super excited Rachel announce it was time to go, then the click of her hanging up.

"Meeeeeeeer. She's up too early..." Avalon muttered, picking herself out of her bedsheets and stumbling to the bathroom. Her hair was an atrocious mess, and waking up early didn't do much for her looks either. "That's what I get for staying up 'till nearly daylight..." She murmured, turning the handle on the shower to as hot as it would go. It was time to wake up... After all, they were starting their road trip! She knew the excitement would hit SOMETIME... Maybe when she woke up from her half-asleep daze.

The shower did indeed help to wake her up, but the fact that she spotted Peter outside her window, pounding at the door was a shock enough. She was still in her towel. "Holy CRAP Peter! Stop YELLING!" Avalon gave a laugh and opened her window, poking her head outside. "Let me get DRESSED, would ya? And you're gonna wait... Unless you WANT me to come out ther naked... Don't answer that. And let yourself in... Just beware, dad's in the kitchen eating... Don't interrupt his newspaper reading. He might explode."

That said, she pulled herself back into her room and threw a pair of dark blue jeans, a black shirt with Zim and Dib on it, her normal set of jewelry, and threw her wet hair up into a messy sort of bun. As set as she was going to be while Peter waited, she lugged her suitcase down the stairs and gave her parents each a hug and kiss, murmuring thanks as they wished her luck. After they were SURE she had her cell phone, she tugged Peter out the door with her and shoved him into the passenger seat.

"You are in NO shape to be driving... How'd you make it here anyway? I KNOW you said you could make it to my house in your sleep, but I never expected you to TEST that theory, ya moron." Though, it wasn't said unkindly.

She started the engine, packed her things into his car, and started off toward Rachel's mansion of a house.

They arrived probably a little too quickly (one of these days she was going to get a massive speeding ticket), and Avalon took it upon herself to drag Peter out of his car and up to Rachel's front door. "Wakey wakey, Petey. You're not going to be any fun if you're drooling all over everyone. Come on then. ON TO THE BIGGEST MISTAKE OF OUR LIVES!" She gave him a punch to the arm and rang the doorbell. Ahah. The excitement that the idea of the trip had brought upon her three days ago was back.

((TAH DAH!))
PostPosted: Mon Dec 11, 2006 4:25 pm

Wally was awake at six forty five that morning. His Bad Idea Senses were tingling. What if, what if, what about, but the, on and on. It was just... such a waste of time. Well, he had wasted a lot of time with these guys before... and as much as he griped at them about it, he couldnt' deny that he'd enjoyed it all. But... but this was so much more than usual... it wasn't in the same category then, was it? This wasn't eating french fries or going to little league games to boo at how terrible the kids were or anything like that. This was a road trip. They could be together for months, doing nothing.

Yet as much as he nagged and nagged at the idea... he still somehow wanted to go, wholeheartedly.

After lying in bed for about half an hour, he rose and began to check over things. He was packed. He had toiletries, a map, money. He'd let his job know he was leaving.

...Well. Time for a shower, then. A long shower.

Half an hour later, he pulled on a pair of jeans, some shirt, and a light jacket. He checked the clock. Eight AM. Hmm. Well... hmmm.

He went downstairs, and put his things in the trunk. Nothing do do now but... waste time.

So, for another three hours, he waited. Edgily. At around ten, he heard his dad get up, and start moving about upstairs. And at eleven, the phone rang. Wally nearly jumped a foot, and looked around for the phone. Where'd he put it? Damn, damn where was--

"Hello?" His father's voice drifted down from upstairs. There was a pause. "Who is this." His voice was tight with indignation. Wally cussed quietly. Why, oh why, did he have to sound so much like his father... Where was the one down here? "I'm afraid Wallace isn't here right n--" There it was!

"I got it, Sir," Wally said through the line. "Hey, Rachel. Yeah. You called Nada already? Okay. We'll be over soon. Right. Bye." He hung up.

He started to pull his things together, as his father came downstairs. "Wallace," he demanded.

Wally stood straight. "Yes, Sir."

"What was that."

"My friend, Rachel, Sir. She and some friends and I'll be hanging out for a bit." He left 'a bit' unspecified.

"And that Reed girl, down the street." Wally nodded. His father watched with a straight face, tight with irritation. "I don't want you hanging out with those types. She's the type to drag you down." Wally winced. "I could have sworn we raised you better than to spend your time with women... lovers..."

Wally choked. "Er. She... she was joking about that, Dad. Sir. We're... we're really, REALLY... not... doing anything... like that."

A long, tense pause followed. Mr. Rior scowled. "We've raised you to be a respectable person, Wallace. Don't waste your time with useless people."

"No, Sir." Wally turned. "I've gotta go, anyway." He left his father in the living room and walked down the street. He knocked at the Reeds' door. "Nada," he called in a cracking voice. "Let's go."

Nada had been sleeping...sleeping...and even more sleeping. If she had any choice she would have slept till 6 pm and still go to bed at 10. She wore a tank top and boxers she had stolen from Billy. It was only until her phone rang and Sandra sat on top of her that she woke up in half a daze.

"Unnnngh." she groaned into the phone, smacking her lips rid of sleep drool. "Guuuuuuhhhhnnnn." she replied when Rachel merrily talked into the phone, however Nada stopped at Loves and slammed the phone down. It took her a minute to get out of bed. Sandra was tugging at her shirt and she heard Billy banging on their door.

"NADA! STOP HAVING FRIENDS CALL SO EARLY IN THE MORNING!" his cracking voice yelped, his chords going through puberty.

"GUUUUUH!" she groaned loudly like a zombie and threw open the door, hitting Billy in his dark chocolate covered face.

"HEY!" he yelped again and grabbed her shoulders before she licked his face, causing him to let go.

Her shower was consisting of 15 minutes of standing around letting the water wake her up, and 5 minutes of washing, another 5 for shaving. She was then out and dressed with a t-shirt for their highschool's graduating class, the year sprawled across her chest and a raggedy pair of caprees. She looked trashy but some how kept together as well. Her hair was the same and the only make up she had on was eyeliner and mascara.

Sandra had already tugged Nada's bags to the door and was happily eating eggs her mother had cooked when Wally knocked at the door.

Her sister answered it, rambling on to Wally about how she had packed Nada's clothes and then showing him her drawings she had made that morning as well as talking about her breakfast and how tasty it was.

Nada finally came in and intercepted Sandra highpitched talking and patted her head. "Nnngh...Sandra...stop bothering him, Kay?"

"I'm not bothering him!"

"Yeah."

"Haha you're silly when you wake up!" Sandra giggled and jumped back into their dining room to finish breakfast.

"Sorry 'bout that. Now what's going on? Are we going to school? We missed our first periods...make that first 4." She was still half asleep when her towering father came in, a wide grin towards Wally.

"Good Morn' Wallace. Nice to see you. Want to come in?"

It hit Nada that they were supposed to go and shoved her dad to the side. "DAD! WE'VE GOTTA GO!" she said with such a loud voice her dad covered his ears and blinked. "He can't stay. We've gotta go." She grabbed her bags and kissed her dad on the cheek, he having to lean over and her having to stand on her tip toes. "Love ya! Tell the others I'll call EVERY day!"

She walked past Wally and yawned widely, almost tripping down her porch steps.

"SISTER!" Sandra squeeled and ran after her. "YOU LEFT YOUR CLOTHES!" And indeed, there they were in the other suitcase.

"Ah...yeah...Thanks honey, I need those for my protein." She grabbed the other suitcase and began to the side walk again.

"Hun...your shoes..." Her dad stated, holding up a pair of sneakers.

"Wally can get them." she muttered still sleepy and licked her lips. "Mmmm...so...let's go Patty," she said and smiled slightly, blinking sleep out of her eyes. "We've got the unicorn to catch."

((hahaha...I dunno...she's strange.))

((YAYS.))

Rachel paced laps around her house once she was done the phone calls, stopping every few minutes to do some stupid thing like retouch her makeup or cram one more pair of cute underwear or a nice top into her bag. She was almost too excited to eat, but Sam was also up and eventually convinced her to sit down to a bowl of cereal.

"Cereal, oh, cereal...how I love you so. I'll miss you when I'm out on the road, with no milk and no bowls and no spoons!"

"Rach, you're talking to your cereal."

"I want it to know that it's loved, before I eat it."

When he gave her a questioning look, she just laughed winningly and continued eating.

Just as she finished her last bite and was classlessly draining the bowl by drinking the milk straight from it, the doorbell rang. She threw the empty dish down and leapt up, racing to the door with a total milk mustache still on her face.

She swung it open enthusiastically, to be greeted with Ava and Peter's welcome faces.

"Peter! Ava! Are you guys like too excited to LIVE, or what?" She paused, studying them and licking the milk off of her lips in an uncharacteristic display of disregard for public appearance. "You just look tired. Didn't you get lots of sleep, like I told you? Pshhh. Whatevs, you don't have to drive first. I will! Just because I love you because we're all going on a freaking road trip and we rock so hard. Did you bring your instruments? Including you, Ava...if you don't fiddle for us, I will cry like a little baby the entire trip. That...that is not pretty, nor fun."

((Hahaha, Yes.... and sorries if I take too long to post tonight... I'm like multi tasking... I HATES MY ART HOMEWORK! MEEER! MEEER! *eats it*))

Peter fixed Avalon with a very flat look and rubbed at his punched arm. "Onwards and into the sunset. Nothing to look back on but only what's ahead?" He recited, and flopped his head onto her shoulder. "I need some sugar." He mumbled.

Though, Peter got his wake up call by way of a very excited Rachel throwing open the door. He yelped and litterally toppled backwards.

"Holy FLIPPING shnikies! She's like a JACK IN THE BOX!" He exclaimed, arms over his face as though to protect himself. "Take the woman not ME!" He said pushing Avalon before him like a human sacrafice. Though, he then peeked over her shoulder, which was a rather odd sight since he was taller.

"... Yeah... I got my instrument." He stated with a sort of grumble. "Avalon made me. Blame her."

He paused, quirked and eyebrow, and then smiled in a lopsided fashion. "I've never seen any girl pull of a milk mustache as attractively as you, Rach. Ever think about growing some facial hair?"

((hahahaha.. XDDD;;; ))
PostPosted: Mon Dec 11, 2006 6:04 pm

((Hahahaha jack in the box... XDDD *has no idea why that's so funny*))

"You DO need sugar..." Avalon muttered to Peter before the door to Rachel's house flung open wide and out popped the girl herself, milk moustache and all.

She grinned like an idiot right back.

"Yeah, SOMEONE'S phone call woke me up this morning..." She gave a rather irritated face, but shrugged. "Eh, as long as I don't drive, and the same with Peter... HOly crap Peter, don't fall asleep on your feet, kiddo."

The dark haired girl then nodded, a bit of an odd look on her face, "Yeah, I've got the fiddle... You know, just to make sure you don't cry. You get all puffy and red when you cry." She gave a taunting grin. "And yes, blame me! BLAAAAAAAME ME! For I DID INDEED make Peter bring his guitar. For I am the most amazing powerful person-thing EVAR. And I'm making him play if it KILLS me. Or him. Whichever comes first."

"Oh, Wally and Nada are here!" She waved at the car just pulling into the driveway. "Whazzup guys? Sleep well, did you?"

Wally half listened to Sandra. Not really. Enough to look like he was paying attention. Really, he just sort of watched her ramble on. His mind was elsewhere.

A dark-skinned zombie loomed behind the girl suddenly. Wally glanced to her, not even bothering to take a side on whether Sandra was bothering him or not. He really didn't care for the moment. Or even notice. "Mm. C'mon, Nada, let's go."

Nada, however, was in another plane of reality. "Yeah...school. Let's go." As her considerably more hospitable father arrived at the door, Nada finally seemed to snap out of it.

...Or... not. He sighed a bit and took her shoes from her father. "Anything else she needs? No? Right. See you, Mr. Reed." He trudged after his somnambulist friend bleakly, and gently bapped her on the back of the head with her sneakers. "Oy. Unicorn hunter. Wake up. You can sleep once we get on the highway."

He tossed her things in his car and made sure she got in the car and buckled--meaning, he did most of it for her. And with that, they headed off to Rachel's.

Ava waved as they approached. And Peter looked in about the same condition as Nada. Brilliant. This trip would be awesome. "I got enough rest." He rethought that. "Better than the rest of you, at least. The others are on their way, right? We need to scram, I don't want to be in traffic; zombies in the car is one thing, but all around is just unpleasant."
((WOO CRAP 'cause my mom is yelling at me to get off the computer... *grumble*))

((Haha there is this show on TLC about crazy christmas lights...XD Oh goodness.))

Nada's cheek was pushed against the car window, mouth opened half way as she let the cars soft rumble put her back to sleep. It was like the school mornings all over again. Her friend may be an early riser, she was the exact opposite though.

She was completely asleep when they got to Rachel's house. When she heard Wally's door shut she blinked and opened her own door, forgetting to move her head, so she fell on her side onto the drive way. She seemed frozen solid there for a minute and giggled. "Oh Charlie...it's candy mountain."

Sighing heavily she stood up lazily and shuffled after her friend, bumping into him when he stopped. She grunted and moved around Wally, leaning against him tiredly. "Nnnnh..." Her stomach growled and she opened her eyes and watched Peter, Avalon, and Rachel, still leaning against the friend at her side.

She smiled at him and patted her stomach. "I ate nothing this morning...so you guys better have food, or I'll beat your face in." She waved her fist as though it were made of lead and yawned some more. "I need coffee...and I need to pee."

((haha...I need coffee in the morning or I am like nada all freakin' day. XD Kinda sad...))

((HAHA Candy mountain...that creeps me out and makes me laugh until I cry at the same time. J YOU ARE MY FAVORITEST!))

Rachel calmed herself down a bit, and absently played with her dark hair as she spoke. "Sorry, guys, I'm just really excited. To be honest, I thought you'd all cop out on me at the last minute, but if you're actually here, then it means we're actually going, and I'm really...impressed. You know what I mean? Like ninety percent of the time people are lame and I end up being really disappointed with them..." She laughed a bit hollowly, without a smile on her face, and shook her head. "Sorry, I'm being a total f**."

When Wally and Nada showed up, her smile returned. "Great to see you guys made it! Even if you do look a little tired, Nada...well, you can sleep in the back, right? Right. Plus I have like a thousand tons of food inside, so go ahead and help yourself. We still have a bit to do before we leave...just have to make sure we're all prepared, you know? Don't want to be turning around half an hour out of the city to get someone's favorite lip gloss or...whatever it is people go back for. I'd do it for lip gloss. That's why I packed all of mine!"

Rachel then turned her large eyes on Wally. "Er, you seem to be the only one who's even like...half awake. I love you. You'd better be riding in the front, with me, hey? Haha...also, you're the only one who's got the route all mapped out.. I just have a general sense of direction until we get really close."

She sighed. "Well, guys? Come inside! There are still a few more people to show up."

((Haha...Rachel isn't really as trivial as she often seems. Someone should really hit her across the face and be all, "DON'T FRONT, b***h!"...haha. Anyway. Bedsies!))
