30th July 2004

Sayuri sat quietly, her legs tucked under her as she watched Rhiannon playing on the living room floor. Wolf was watching over her daughter as usual, Rhiannon sat on a large pad of paper with thick colouring crayons scattered about her. She picked up an orange crayon, chewed the end a little before plonking the end onto the paper and making a few scribbly movements. Sayuri smiled wanly, sipping at a drink from her seat on the couch. She sighed softly. Where was David? He had gone missing again - Rhiannon had been missing her Daddy as well but she only expressed it with occasional bouts of piercing screaming. Sayuri missed David with an ache in her heart, and she stood, walking quickly over to the window to hide the tears that had started to fall. She looked out over the woods and sighed. Maybe he had left her - could that be? She looked at the ring he had given her, not even sure what to do. She turned and looked at Rhiannon again. How could he leave them for so long?

David Wolfenbrother
David slipped into rhiannon's nursery in his full were form, being as quiet as possible, looking down at his daughter, sighing a little, reaching down with one hand to stroke her cheek with the back of one nuckle, being careful of his stubby claws "I hope you never have to go through the same trials as me little one."

Quote:
Sayuri stirred, turning over on the bed. Again David's side was empty, the sheets cold. She sat up, rubbing her eyes, determined not to start crying so early in the morning. She got out of bed, walking quietly to the nursery, running her fingers through her hair to undo the tangles. She rubbed her arms, shivering a little in her slip nightie, then opened the door.
'Good morning Rhiannon,' she started to say before looking properly over at the cot. She froze.

David Wolfenbrother
David freezes as well, looking over his shoulder at Sayuri, tears instantly springing to his eyes, turning to face her, still in a half crouch so he isn't at his full height, his wings tightly folded at his back

Quote:
She stood awkwardly for a moment and then went over to the cot, leaning in and picking up Rhiannon. She cuddled their daughter to her, stroking her hair. She spoke to David without looking at him - she darent as she would break down;
'So you came back..'

David Wolfenbrother
'I, yes," David sighs "I didn't want you to see me like this, stuck in this form." David walks over to Sayuri, hugging her gently from behind, his wings coming around to surround both her and rhiannon. "I guess i'm still ashamed a little of who I am, of what i've done when i looked like this"

Quote:
His arms went around her and she ducked her head, hiding her tears behind her hair. A tear dropped on Rhiannon's head and the little girl tilted her head up, looking at her mothers face.
'Sorry,' she mumbled to Rhiannon. She spoke haltingly.
'I thought...you had...left me,' she hiccupped.

David Wolfenbrother
David shakes his head, gently touching the ring on sayuri's finger "I will never leave you, not unless you tell me to go away. and even then I will still love you."

Quote:
She shook a little, putting Rhiannon on the floor, calling for Wolf who came padding into the room straight away. Rhiannon managed to crawl to him and clung onto one of the animal's legs. Sayuri turned around, touching David on the face.
'I - You were just gone so long and then you return to me looking as you do and telling me your stuck like this,' her voice was strained with emotion.
'Where did you go? What happened?'

David Wolfenbrother
"I, I don't know. I can't remember anything at all. The last thing I remember is going to my shrine to pray, and then i was in the woods, stuck like this." David sat down on the ground, head slumping down into his hands as he finally let go, starting to cry.

Quote:
Sayuri knelt before him, putting her arms around and rocking him as best as she could.
'Dont cry love,' she kissed the top of his head. She sighed a little.
'I love you no matter what you look like,' she stroked his back.
'I was just upset at the thought of being alone again. We'll find a way to help you.'

David Wolfenbrother
David looks up, and smiles a little weakly, and then looks over to rhiannon, holding out one hand to her

Sayuri_Nitta
Wolf nudged Rhiannon who tumbled over onto her back, wriggling like a crab a little before managing to sit up. Sayuri called softly.
'Rhiannon, come here.' The little girl half crawled and shuffled over, Wolf butting her on the bottom when she looked like she was about to waver. Sayuri sat next to David, one hand on him. Rhiannon finally got to David, and sat on her bottom, a thumb jammed in her mouth. She pointed at him, blinking her eyes at him in confusion.
'Its Daddy,' Sayuri said. Rhiannon popped the thumb out of her mouth.
'Da?' she said, waving the soggy digit at him.

David Wolfenbrother
David smiled a little, and nods "Its me Sweetie. I just look diffrent." David picked Rhiannon up and held her close, rocking her gently.

Quote:
Rhiannon played with David's fur and made grabby hands at his wings.
'Da-da da da!' she said, wriggling around in his arms. Sayuri smiled a little, kissing David softly.
'I missed this..' she said, leaning against David.
'I missed you alot.'

David Wolfenbrother
David smiles, and holds rhiannon close, kissing sayuri back. "i'm sorry hun. I'll try not to disappear again."

Quote:
She smiled.
'Besides,' she said, running a finger along his arm. Rhiannon made biting actions at David, showing her little teeth.
'I can get used to this for a while - I like the strong side of you.'

David Wolfenbrother
David chuckles, letting Rhiannon bite on his finger a little, "I'm not as strong as you think."

Quote:
She shook her head.
'You're stronger then me - in many ways. I couldnt cope if I lost you - or Rhiannon.' she frowned faintly, leaning into him again.

David Wolfenbrother
"Neither could i hun, neither could I. Without you two, i would be adrift" David smiles a little, tears at the corners of his eyes.

Quote:
'So, love.' she said, looking at him. Rhiannon tucked herself against David, clinging to him a little and closing her eyes.
'You really cant remember anything about what happened?'

David Wolfenbrother
"No clue at all. It worrys me though." David smiles a little, holding rhiannon close, bringing one wing around to tickle her.

Quote:
'I think it would worry me as well.' she smiled at Rhiannon who opened her eyes and grabbed the wing, squealing happily.
'Da da!'
'You know that daddy is going to be her first word...' Sayuri said.
'She loves you so much.'

David Wolfenbrother
"I know hun. I love her too." He smiles, tickling Rhiannon under the chin a little with the wing, and bouncing her a little before setting her down in his lap.

Quote:
Rhiannon squealed happily when David bounced her, then nestled against him. She giggled, clutching his fur then said;
'Daddy,' before shutting her eyes.

Sayuri gasped, putting her hand over her mouth.
'Oh Rhiannon!' she said, tears of joy springing to her eyes.

David Wolfenbrother
David's eyes goes wide. "Oh Sweetie!" David breaks out into tears, holding Rhiannon close, wings around the two of them.

Quote:
Sayuri wiped at her eyes, looking at Rhiannon who had dozed off.
'Maybe we should put her down, and we can talk - have time to ourself,' she suggested.
'And I can get dressed,' she chuckled, looking at her little nightie.

David Wolfenbrother
David chuckles, and stands, putting Rhiannon in the crib and tucking her in, smiling a little. He stoops and exits the nursery after telling Wolf to stay and watch rhiannon, looking back at sayuri hesitently

Quote:
Sayuri followed David, after leaning over and stroking Rhiannon's cheek. She left the nursery, turning towards their bedroom.
'Come and talk in here,' she said as she entered, picking up her brush and sitting on the bed. She turned it over in her hands, waiting for David to sit down.

David Wolfenbrother
David sits on the floor, legs crossed, looking up at Sayuri, love in his eyes.

Quote:
She looked confused as he sat on the floor but just shrugged it off, putting the brush back down again without using it.
'Tell me everything you can remember my love.' she interlaced her fingers, placing her hands on her lap.

David Wolfenbrother
"I, I had gone to the small shrine at the top of the cliff to pray, and I remember some sort of burning sensation washing over me, and I think I passed out. Then there are some blurry memorys of a bunch of moons, and then i woke up in the woods, and was stuck in this form."

Quote:
'But thats all? You dont know if someone cast a spell on you or anything like that?' she bit her lip.

David Wolfenbrother
David shakes his head a little "I have no clue. As far as I know, it was the Goddess that did this to me for some reason."

Quote:
'The Goddess?' Sayuri blinked.
'Why would she do that to you? And what did you mean earlier - about what you've done as you are now?'

David Wolfenbrother
David sighs "I, when i was younger, I was very wild, with no control to speak of. I would just drop into a rage, and wake up to find that I had attacked someone, or destroyed something."

Quote:
She curled a strand of hair around her finger distractedly while she thought.
'I'm sorry that happened to you my love but that doesnt happen to you anymore right? You shouldnt be ashamed of how you look.' she slipped off the bed, moving over to him and sitting before him.
'But the Goddess, would she do that?'

David Wolfenbrother
"I, I don't know. She doesn't tell me why she does something all the time. Thats if it was her. I don't know what it could be. And slowly you are showing me how to see the good in myself hun." He hugs sayuri close to him, smiling a little.

Quote:
'You have so much good in you.' she said, as she wrapped her arms around him.
'I wish you could see what I see.'

David Wolfenbrother
David smiles a little, and pulls sayuri close "Slowly but surely I am hun. Thank you for everything." David snuggles close to her, nodding off.

Kaioto_Katsuma
"Gah! No! Stop! Halt! Eeeyaaahhh!"
So much for an easy delivery. Kaioto's yelps continue to fill the air as she is rushed along by the wolf pup she has in a leash. She had found the wolf on the palace grounds and thought it would make a cute pet for Sayuri and David's Rhiannon. Of course, what she hadn't factored in was its strength and speed. So now here she is, being pulled through the air as the wolf runs down the sidewalk.
"We! Have! To! Go! That way!" she yells towards the wolf, who changes directions, but doesnt bother to slow down as Kaioto is flung around the corner.
"Eeeee! Slow DOWN!" she yelps as she barely misses a lamp post, but the pup takes no heed to her commands. Just barely managing to get over a mailbox in time by flapping her wings, she closes her eyes and wills the pup to stop.
And... she suddenly finds herself on the ground. o.O
Breathing heavily, she thinks to herself 'Wow, I'm good...' with a slight chuckle. Braving a look, she opens her eyes to find that it wasn't her will that made the pup stop afterall. It was a house. The very place she had intended to go with the pup, who at the moment had stopped to sniff the air.
"Smell the other wolves, eh little one?" she says as she pats its head. "This is where you were supposed to go, but you didn't have to make it so hard for me... anyway, there's a little girl inside, and I want you to be good to her, ok?"
The pup barks out excitedly and runs towards the house, leash streaming behind it. Kaioto sighs and wonders if maybe this wasn't a good idea afterall...

Dear Diary,

Gods. Rhiannon has gotten a new companion, this time from Kaito. Another wolf, this time a pup, who is as energetic as Wolf is composed. So know we have Wolf, and we have Pup. Rhiannon loves her new friend, making little wulfing noises at him, and giggling.

2nd August 2004

Sayuri sat down at the desk, flipping open her journal and leafing through the pages to the last entry. She listened a moment before starting to write; she could just hear Rhiannon giggling, and the sound of Wolf and the newest canine arrival playing in the living room.

Two days ago my love, my David finally returned home. He was in a slight state, something has happened to him that has resulted in him being stuck in his were-form. Which I admit was at first a disconcerting thing to discover, but I love him to much to let how he looks keep me from him. I'm just sorry he has had to go through this and I hope a resolution to his problem can be found.
But Rhiannon managed to make us both smile. Our darling daughter spoke her first full word - and unsurprisingly it was 'Daddy'. I am happy - and I knew this would happen as she loves her father very much. Sometimes I think even more then me, but thats okay. I'm the disciplanarian, the one that cleans up and soothes her hurts. Daddy is just the fun one who makes her smile alot.

Sayuri put her pen down, leaving the bedroom and going into the living room. She stood in the doorway, watching as Wolf and the new pup play-fought, Rhiannon crawling around with them, making funny little yipping noises. She smiled, moving the ring on her finger around. Come what may they were family. She thought of Sati, and frowned. Her daughter had called her, spoken about Silver but hadnt wanted to say too much. She would visit her soon. Find out if she was doing okay.

My poor daughter. Sati turned up at the house late last night, her face was drawn and she had obviously been crying. I managed to get out of her that she had not seen Silver for a very long time and the one time she had he had rambled and then fled from her. I let her stay on Silver's old room. She pretty much fell onto the bed and went straight to sleep. She hasnt woken yet, and its...almost 11am now. Poor girl must be emotionally tired.
David has been scarce again. But I am hoping that he is seeking a solution to his problem, so I am trying to not worry and look after my children. Rhiannon is crawling very well now; so much so that it is hard to keep track of my little darling. Luckily Wolf and now the other pup follow her everywhere so I know she is always guarded.

18th August 2004

Sayuri giggled as she watched Rhiannon. She was sat on a fold out chair on the front lawn. Rhiannon was paddling in an inflatable paddling pool - well more splashing around and drenching everything in sight then paddling. Sayuri smiled as Wolf and the as yet unnamed pup bounded around the pool, yipping excitedly as Rhiannon sent up yet another spray of water. Sayuri got up, picked up the hose and filled the pool up a little more.
'Rhiannon, sweetie - you'll make a pool in the lawn the way your going.' she chided a little. Rhiannon picked up a brightly coloured plastic bucket, filling at then making to throw it at her mother. Sayuri waggled her finger.
'Dont you dare miss!' and Rhiannon just tipped the bucket on herself, her little pink frilled swimsuit getting soaked again. She squealed, splashing her feet.
'Wa-tah!' she proclaimed.
Sayuri smiled, standing up and moving inside for a minute. When she came back she held a tray with lemonade in a jug and glasses. Rhiannon chirped and wuffed happily, scrambling out of the pool and toddling over to her mother, leaving a trail of wet behind her. The wolves followed, curling up next to the chair as Sayuri scooped Rhiannon into her lap, wrapping her in a fluffy towel. Once Rhiannon was drier and had a fuzzy dandelion affect to her hair, Sayuri poured a drink for her, putting in her favourite bendy straw and let Rhiannon have a drink. As she sat there with her child she sighed, wondering not for the first time if David and her would ever have a stable home life. He had become absent again, Sati would not leave the room where she was staying, and she felt like looking after Rhiannon had become a sort of anchor in her life. She kissed the top of Rhiannons head.
'Nothing will ever take you from me,' she said quietly, rocking the now sleepy toddler. She took the drink away and Rhiannon curled into Sayuri, falling into a light sleep.

Sayuri opened the door to the HQ, turning and tugging a little on the hand she held, pushing the door so that Rhiannon could slowly toddle inside. She had not visited the HQ for some time - Rhiannon kept her busy, and now with David in his condition and Sati away she felt like she needed some company. She frowned at the one person there though - Silver. Well she would be polite; if only for David's sake. Rhiannon giggled and toddled on unsteady feet over to Silver. She tugged on his tail and yipped at him.

David Wolfenbrother
Silver gave a little yelp as his tail was pulled, looking over his shoulder, smiling a little shyly at Sayuri, and kneeling down. "Hey there Rhiannon. You know who I am?" Silver held out one finger for her to grab, looking over at Wolf and the unnamed pup, grinning a little.

Sayuri_Nitta
Sayuri raised an eyebrow, as if to silently let him know that she knew all that transpired but was loathe to speak of it in front of Rhiannon. Rhiannon reached up, not for the finger but for the strange covering over Silver's eye.
'She knows who you are, although she has seen you little.' said Sayuri, her voice steady. She took a seat.

David Wolfenbrother
Silver smiles a little, picking up Rhiannon, sitting next to Sayuri, the wings shifting back to his sword, resting against the wall next to the couch, smiling at his little sister a little, pulling a silver coin out of nowhere for her to play with. "I'm sorry for that Mother. I got caught up in my own little world I guess."

Sayuri_Nitta
Rhiannon grabbed the shiny thing in her toddler death-grip and clung onto it, making little growly noises. Sayuri merely frowned at this;
'Yes you did. With little thought of your father and your family. I need not mention what you have done to Sati.' she inwardly fumed.

David Wolfenbrother
Silver sighs, hanging his head, needing no reminder of his latest failing, a few tears trickling down his face to his nose, trying to hide his emotions, and failing "I, i know that all to well Mother. I've been a lousy son i'm afraid. Its a miracle that Father didn't disown me."

Sayuri_Nitta
'He is your father, he loves you no matter what.' she watched as Rhiannon rubbed her head, wondering where the rain was coming from as they were inside.
'And..' Sayuri sighed, shaking her head.
'My daughter loves you to - still. Though I am at a loss as to why she remains faithful.'

David Wolfenbrother
Silver takes the hairclip out of his hair where he had put it, looking at it, eyes closed against the coming tears, throat growing thick, and he doesn't answer, just holds the hair clip close to himself, carefully, so as to not damage it. "I, I just don't know what to do, how to make everything right again. All I want is to see her happy. I don't care if she ends up hating me, as long as she is happy, and safe. That is all that matters to me."

Sayuri_Nitta
Rhiannon waved a chubby hand at the hairclip, trying to grab it. Sayuri rubbed her temples, and spoke firmly.
'You hurt her badly, but you have proven on more then one occasion that you do care for her so despite my misgivings I will tell you this. Sati is hurt - it doesnt matter that it wasnt you who did, what you did, but she still feels the betrayal. She doesnt understand why you didnt at least warn her - well this is what I managed to get out of her when she phoned me. You have to win her trust back and you have to face everything you have done. Dont get angry at her if she makes a snide comment to make herself feel better, and for heavens sake dont run off again.' she sat back, having said her piece.

David Wolfenbrother

Silver smiles a little, brushing the tears out of his eyes, fastening the hairclip in his hair again, summoning a little globe of silvery light for Rhiannon to play with, looking up to Sayuri again, a little smile on his face, the pain still in his eyes, but hope shining in them a little "Guess I just have to take it one day at a time, huh?" He bounces Rhiannon gently on his knee, smiling at her, tickling her under her chin before setting her on the floor to play with the globe, tucking his feet up to his chest, hugging them close.

Sayuri_Nitta

'Yes I imagine you will,' Sayuri said, picking up Rhiannon, and standing. Rhiannon bopped herself on the nose with the globe, screwing up her face as she looked at it.
'Now I have to get this little girl home. It would be nice if you showed up at home as well at some point,' she said, her face softening a little.
'Take care Silver,' she turned, the wolves on her heels and Rhiannon waved over her shoulder.

David Wolfenbrother
Silver shuffles up the path to the house, looking at this feet, and stands before the door a moment before building up the courage and knocking.

Quote:
Sayuri put down the spoon, leaving Rhiannon in the kitchen with both the wolves as she went to open the door. Rhiannon took the opportunity to tip over the food bowl, giggling as Wolf and the pup licked the floor clean. Sayuri hid her surprise at seeing Silver there, and moved to the side.
'Come in,' she said quietly, keeping her expression fairly blank.

David Wolfenbrother
The wings at Silver's back rustled a little, showing his aggitation, but he managed a small smile, slipping in the door, wings shifting down to his normal sword, which he leaned against the wall in the entry way, waiting for Sayuri to close the door before doing anything.

Quote:
Sayuri shut the door.
'Well then,' she said, leading the way back into the kitchen, noting the bowl on the floor and picking it up. She frowned a little at Rhiannon who was now bouncing on her chair.
'Silver!' she exclaimed.

David Wolfenbrother
Silver smiles a little at Rhiannon, coming over and sitting in the chair next to her, smiling. "Hey there Sis. Making things busy for mommy, huh?" He musses her hair a little, and just takes in being in what for the longest time was his home, feeling at peace for the first time in a long time.

Quote:
Sayuri clattered about behind them, occasionally looking upwards hoping that her other daughter would be upstairs until his visit was over. She turned.
'Would you like something to drink?' she asked, all politeness. Rhiannon makes biting motions when Silver mess her hair up, pointing at his ears.
'Silver big wolf?' she jammed a thumb in her mouth, looking at him with round eyes.

David Wolfenbrother
Silver chuckles a little, some of the sadness in his eyes leaving his eyes as he talked to Rhiannon "Just some water please? And yes, Silver Big Big wolfie." Silver chuckles, and shape shifts to his dire wolf form, standing about 5 feet at the shoulder, licking Rhiannon's face before shifting back to his humanoid form, chuckling a little.

Quote:
Sayuri filled a glass, putting it in front of Silver, before taking a seat herself. Rhiannon clapped and squealed happily;
'Wolfie!'
Sayuri tucked her hair behind an ear, looking at Silver.
'Your father would be happy to see you here I'm sure, were he here that is.' she drummed her fingers, looking sad and younger then her years for a moment.

David Wolfenbrother
Silver smiles a little. "One of the reason's I came was to deliver news of my father. At the moment, he's locked in meditation at the shrine he built out in the woods. It seems when my pastlives started breaking free, something happened to him and he's trying to fix it at the moment." Silver sighs sadly. "It seems i've just caused everyone problems." Silver brings his knees up to his chest, hugging them there, not trying to hide the tears in his eyes, just staring off into the kitchen fireplace.

Quote:
'I see,' she nodded, watching Rhiannon waving her hands at Silver, trying to get his attention.
'Do you know if he has managed to find a cure to his current situation?'

David Wolfenbrother
Silver nods a little, not trusting his voice not to crack the way he is right now, reaching up to brush the tears away, looking over at Rhiannon, forcing a smile, then looking back over at Sayuri "Mom, would it be alright for me to use my old room? I, I just really don't want to be alone right now. I know I havn't been the best person in the world, and I understand if you say no." Silver holds out one finger for Rhiannon to grab onto, smiling a little at his little sister.

Quote:
Rhiannon latched onto the finger, squeezing it a little. Sayuri stood, walking over to the kitchen window and looked across the grounds.
'I cant imagine why you shouldnt,' she turned, looking at him.
'But you have to remember that Sati also has the right to come here.' she rubbed her forehead.
'She is here now.'

David Wolfenbrother
Silver's eyes widen, and he shakes his head. "She has more of a right than me. I, I"ll just go stay in one of my cottages. I don't want to cause any more problems then I already have." Silver reaches up and undoes the hairclip, laying it on the table. "Will you please see that she gets this?" Silver stands, Kissing Rhiannon on the forehead before collecting his sword from the hallway and getting ready to go out the door.

Quote:
She raised an eyebrow.
'Running away again? she looked at him as Rhiannon's face wrinkled up and she sniffled.
'Silver wolfie!' she wailed.
'If you want to stay, stay. If she thinks you cant even bear to be in the same house as her how do you think that will look?'

David Wolfenbrother
Silver sighs, and walks back, keeping the wings where they are for now. "Your right. I, I just don't want to hurt her more by being close and reminding her." Silver sighs. "I, I'm sorry mother. Your right."

Quote:
Rhiannon cheered up again, sliding off her chair and crawling over to Silver, to latch onto his leg. Sayuri turned to say something, then stopped, looking past Silver. Sati was standing at the table, holding the hairclip. She was dressed still in her workout gear, sweat top and pants, her hair pinned up, and she traced the shape of the clip.

David Wolfenbrother
Silver smiles down at Rhiannon, lifting her up into his lap, only then noticing Sati, giving a small, shy smile, looking down, wings rustling a little in nerviousness, bounching Rhiannon a little on his lap, eyes holding a depth of sadness and pain, thinking of how much he hurt Sati, never expecting to be forgiven.

Quote:
Rhiannon squealed loudly, shaking Sati from her reverie. She looked over at the toddler, before turning back to the clip. She remembered how pleased she had been when Silver gave it to her, how she had rarely taken it out. She bought it to her face, pressing it to her lips, then she let her hair down, pulling out the bobby pins one by one that secured it. Sayuri moved over to her daughter, leaning in to whisper something. Sati shook her head at what ever was asked, and said something quietly back. Sayuri nodded, brushing the hair out of Sati's face, before taking the hairclip and clipping it on for her. She hugged her mother, speaking into her ear before leaving the house, disappearing from where she stood. Sayuri turned to look at Silver, a faint smile on her face.

David Wolfenbrother
Silver smiles a little as well, though tears still well up in his eyes. He carefully hold Rhiannon where she is, looking to Sayuri to see if she has anything to say, blinking a little to clear the tears from his eyes.

Quote:
Rhiannon pats Silver on the face, making little noises at him. Sayuri took a seat, folding her hands on her lap before speaking.
'Sati told me to tell you this; 'the clearing in the woods'. She said you would know what it means. I think she has gone there now.' she fiddled with her hair again, tucking it back behind her ear.
'I think she wants to talk before going back to Shina's.'

David Wolfenbrother
Silver smiles a little and nods, setting Rhiannon down on the floor "Thank you mother. I'll be back in a little while." Silver walks out the door, and takes to the air, a small smile on his lips.

It was a great surprise when Silver actually showed up to visit us and an even greater one when he asked to stay for a short while. Whatever transpired for him, it seems to have affected some great inner change and he is more calm and reasonable. I only hope that Sati and he work things out.
Rhiannon enjoyed Silver's visit. She seems to be developing a sort of fixation with her elder 'brother', and when he left to meet Sati she toddled around the house looking for him and calling his name. She kept on repeating that he was a 'big wolfy.' I think she finds the fact that he is a walking wolf fascinating!
Rhiannon continues to progress well. Her vocabulary is expanding and she did finally start saying Mummy. She is walking better, but still finds crawling to be a faster method of movement. She gets into everything. She even somehow managed to get into my kimono storage. I found her wrapped in a light weave summer kimono, she was fast asleep.
She also pretty much eats what we do now - she enjoys her food (much like her father). She insists on going outside for a walk, and pulls me towards the woods. I have yet to take her in there though - I still think she is too young. She likes strawberry flavoured ice pops and she sucks them till her tongue is bright red and her hands are sticky.

Sayuri pottered around in the kitchen, humming to herself. She wiped her hands, putting down the cloth and went into Rhiannon's room to see why the little girl hadnt wandered in and asked for breakfast yet.
'Rhiannon,' she said, as she walked in, picking up a rag-doll from by the door and walking over to her bed. Rhiannon sat up in bed from under the covers and went;
'Boo!' she scrambled from under the covers, sliding off the bed as Sayuri sank to the floor.
'Rhi- Rhiannon?' she stammered as she looked at her little girl. Rhiannon scrambled onto her mother's lap giggling.
'I growed! I growed!,' Rhiannon exclaimed. She slid back off her mother, and ran around the room in her pajamas. She stopped at the tall mirror, and looked at herself critically. She jumped on the spot, watching her hair bounce. Sayuri laughed, finally managing to stand up. She went over to the wardrobe, sorting through the clothes.
'Well sweetie, its a good thing I went shopping for some bigger clothes recently,' she pulled out a top and a pinafore dress, showing it to her. Rhiannon made a face, and ran out of the bedroom.
'No dress! No dress!,' she squealed, pattering into the living room and hiding behind a chair. She made a shush noise to Wolf and Pup, who made barking noises when she came rushing in. Unfortunately them standing by the chair wagging their tails gave away the girls hiding spot, and a moment later Sayuri had pulled away the chair and picked Rhiannon up.
'Rhiannon sweetie,' she said, carrying her daughter back into her bedroom. She put her on the floor again.
'You are a very pretty young lady and I want you to behave more like on,' she carried on, putting the clothes on while Rhiannon sulked. She pulled on lacy trimmed ankle socks, smiling to herself at the faces her daughter was pulling.
'Now then,' she said, getting her to stand and look in the mirror, while she brushed her hair.
'Don't you look nice!' Rhiannon poked her tongue out.
'Rhiannon if you wear it all day without making a fuss I will make a chocolate cake okay?'
Rhiannon squealed happily, running out to play with Wolf and Pup, shouting 'Chocolate Cake,' at the top of her voice.

My beautiful daughter - I cant believe how much she has grown! She has grown into a proper little madam however. I wanted her to wear some pretty new clothes I had bought for when she grew but it was quite a struggle and in the end I had to pretty much bribe her with chocolate cake to get her to wear the clothes. She enjoyed the cake though - as did her clothes, the floor and Wolf and Pup.
She has come along greatly since she grew, she is enjoying reading with me and speaks very well now. She is becomes more articulate and expands her vocabulary with everything she hears and reads. We, David and I need to think about schooling - whether to send her to a school or teach her at home. I think she would enjoy going to school - she is bright, bouncy and likes meeting new people.

Clinic Visit

David Wolfenbrother
David walks into the clinic in full were form, looking like an 8 foot tall werewolf with large black wings. Rhiannon is sitting in his arms, giggling, arms around his neck, Wolf and the unnamed as of yet pup following.

Jiora

It was Jaclyn who noticed the newcomers to the shop first. Unfortunately, she still wasn't as used to the oddities that were considered normal in Gaia. She regarded the woman and the dragon child with a wary sort of curiosity, obviously fighting with her sense of manners over whether she should ask if the child belonged to the woman or not. Her reaction to David wasn't nearly as...calm, shall we say?

Her eyes widened, and she found herself reaching blindly behind herself for Cyrus to make sure he was there. Good gods - was he going to eat that little girl?!

Cyrus simply blinked as his "aunt" grabbed at him, laying his ears back and brushing her hand away. He eyed the newcomers curiously, stepping out from behind Jaclyn - much to the girl's disapproval - and smiled tentatively up at Rhiannon. "Hiya."

David Wolfenbrother
Rhiannon kisses david's cheek, giggling a little "Thank you for bringing me daddy! She looks down at Cyrus, and hops down to the floor, tilting her head a little "Hello there. I'm Rhiannon! Who are you?"

Sundragyn
Bronwen blinks and pulls out from under the dusty chair. "Aaadlle," she announces to her mother, and blinks owlishly at David. Oooh.

Jiora

He managed a more assured smile now, tilting his ears forward attentively when Rhiannon spoke. "I'm Cyrus. Izzat big wolf-man really your daddy?"

Behind him, Jaclyn made several incoherent sounds and stared at David for another minute before flopping down in a chair not too far from Sunny. Jiora was going to kill her if Cyrus got eaten. Unless she got eaten too... She wasn't sure which would be worse.

David Wolfenbrother
Rhiannon giggled, and looked back at david, who shifted back to his human shape. Thas my daddy. He, sh, sh, change to big wolfie man thing. She nods a little, giggling.

David sat down across from Sunny and the other woman, smiling a little. "Sorry for the scare ladies."

Sundragyn
"Me? Scared? Never," Sunny laughs with a wave of her hand. Never mind that she is a little paler than usual.

Bronwen blinks up at Jaclyn and pulls herself up onto her hind legs by resting her front paws on the lady's knee. "Haaaal."

Jiora
Cyrus stole another curious glance at David when he went to sit down, one ear twitching spastically as he thought. "I wonder if my momma can do that too...?" He shrugged absently, focusing on Rhiannon again and tucking his hands behind his head for a moment. "I know sh'can make fire from 'er hands though. It's real neat."

Jaclyn blinked dumbly at David. It could talk?! It was only just beginning to register that he might not be something to fear, though she at least had the sense to nod vaguely. "Uh-huh," she murmured weakly.

She glanced down at Bronwen as she pulled herself up, blinking for a moment before cooing at the adoreable little dragon halfling - and completely forgetting that dragons generally spit fire. "Aw...aren't you cute..!"

David Wolfenbrother
Rhiannon giggles as Wolf and the pup come over, patting them on their heads. "My mommy can't do anything like that, but she is really good cook! Makes good cookies!" David smiles a little at Bronwyn, leaning back a little, watching Rhiannon and Cyrus.

Sundragyn
"Gaaam lal deen," Bronwen tells Jaclyn, in tones of the gravest importance, and flaps her wings a few times. Sunny sniggers.

Jiora

She giggled softly, reaching down to pat Bronwen gently between her horns. "I'm sure, little one." Whatever that had meant, it certainly sounded adoreable.

He gave the wolf and pup a cursory glance, automatically noting that T'kio and Chakt were way cooler than they were as far as he was concerned - though he'd have that argument later. Preferably when they were around. "My momma can cook okay, but she doesn' like ta. Jacky can't cook at all though."

David Wolfenbrother
Rhiannon nods, and grins "You want play a game? I, I not know anyone my age. Just sissy Sati and Brother Sivah."

David sits back, reading a thick leather book he took from his bag, nodding from time to time.

Jiora
"Oh no. She's just adoreable," chirped Jaclyn. Her usual smile had found a way onto her face again as she fussed over the child in her lap.

Cyrus gave a vague shrug, eyeing the strange black creature sitting in Jaclyn's lap for a moment - what was that thing? "What kinda game?" He paused, looking away from Jaclyn and the lap invader for a moment. "I don' know anyone my age either. It's jus' my momma an' our pets. An' now Jacky too."

David Wolfenbrother
Rhiannon sat on her tush, and thought, and thought some more. Ummm. I don't know. Are there any blocks around here? We could build something!"

Jiora
He arched a brow in what might have been disdain, but really only looked very silly on him. "Blocks?" Maybe if he was a toddler. Or if he wanted to throw them at something. He shook his head, glancing around the room a moment before grinning. "What 'bout a game o' tag?"

Sundragyn
Bronwen stalks over to the other, bigger children, and stares up at them in polite curiosity.

David Wolfenbrother
Rhiannon nods, and yips a little at the two wolves. "They want to play too. We ready?"She tiptoes over to Cyrus, and kisses him on the cheek, and then runs off, the wolves running with her. "YOUR IT!!"

Jiora
One ear twitched down towards Brownwen slightly, though he didn't look at her just yet. He glanced at the wolves and shrugged, nodding. "Ready." ...and then she kissed him. For a moment he simply stood there, exploding into a fit in the next. "Oh gross!! COOTIES!" Now, where he had learned of cooties was unknown - though Jaclyn was looking abnormally innocent over between Sunny and David...

He rubbed at his cheek furiously, glancing down at Bronwen for a moment and shaking his head. "Girls. Doesn' sh'know only mommas are s'posed ta kiss ya?" That said, he took off after Rhiannon.

David Wolfenbrother
Rhiannon giggled, dodging between tables and couches, the wolves splitting off in opposite directions.

Sundragyn
Bronwen yelps and runs for cover, underneath a table.

Jiora
He would have shrugged when Bronwen hid herself if it wouldn't have interfered with his running. He tucked his ears back, a childish grin spreading over his face as he raced after the girl, darting around couches and ducking beneath tables, the wolves apparently forgotten for the moment.

Jiora
He paused and stuck his tongue out at Rhiannon, pausing a short distance from her. "Well maybe I don't wanna catch a icky girl anyway. Y'got cooties." Jaclyn hid a sudden fit of giggles behind one hand.

David Wolfenbrother
Rhiannon grins Well then, how bout instead of tag, we play, hmmmm POUNCE! Rhiannon dives at Cyrus, knocking him gently back onto the bean bag behind him, tickling him

Jiora
He tucked his ears back again, looking quite horrified as Rhiannon pounced at him. Cyrus fell back with a rather undignified squawk, quickly dissolving into a fit of giggles as Rhi began tickling him. Not one to just give up, he retaliated in kind, reaching up to tickle her as well.

David Wolfenbrother
Rhiannon burst into giggles, but kept tickling back before falling breathless next to Cyrus, still giggling a bit. That was fun!

Jiora
He tickled her a few moments longer once she'd given up before letting off himself. That had been fun. Even if she was an icky girl with cooties.

Cyrus glanced around for a moment then while his giggles died down, wondering where that neat winged lizard had gotten off to.

David Wolfenbrother
Gods. My little girl is growing up so fast. Kamiki says its because of the high level of magic in Gaia, or something like that. *chuckles* Shes a cute little thing as well, and knows how to use that to her advantage. All she has to do is look up at daddy with those big green eyes, and she can get me to comply usually. Hmmm. I think i'd better start making sure my swords are nice and sharp. before too long, she's going to be a teenager, and start dating! Must be prepared to interogate her dates. *nod nod* Well, i'm off to make sure that I stay in human form this time.
