Apathie was quick, as she whipped her braid around, catching the tie in her mouth. A small, magically charged blade was thrown skillfully from her mouth as she pulled it from her hair, cutting one of her arms free. She quickly cut herself loose, dodging the acid but getting grazed on the shoulder. Tiska ran over to her "Sister, we must get out of here!" He ran over to the wall and charged it like a bull, bursting through it with sheer brute force. He led Apathie out by the hand, and held the red jewel as he embraced her "Hatsuraka!"

The fireball hit just as he shouted the command word. The pair emerged unharmed, thanks to the anti-magic field that the ruby put up. Trace tumbled between the dragon and the anti-magic field. "Now get out of here!" He cast another orb and dodged the swipe that was meant for his head. Jimaru was slowly gaining the advantage. His now massive body exploded out of the room and into the night air. With a slap of his tail, he sent Michael flying to the other wall, where he slumped, bleeding. Trace and Ice both launched massive spells in retaliation. Malisvir roared in anger, summoning his children. In all the chaos of ten half-dragons suddenly appearing, he cast a teleport spell and was gone from the room. It took the Agronauts little time to dispatch the spawn. Trace cursed that the dragon got away again, but he had to catch up with the two with the ruby before Malisvir.

Sister Apathie quickly chanted a prayer "Oh Mother of holy spirit, Ren Eva, grant me the purest of your power, protect us and guide us to where we must be!" The two of them were surrounded in a white orb, which vanished. They reappeared a good 5 miles away, in the midst of the Evernight Forest. She knew that Father Raceh must be nearby, as she had focused her target of the spell on him. She dragged Tiska aside and quickly hid in a small outcropping of dead trees

Trace cursed as he picked up the gem and deactivated it. He hurried back to Ice, who was tending to Michael. Trace pulled out a vial of milky liquid and unstoppered it. The dwarf took the vial and poured it down the cleric's mouth. His eyes slowly opened and he began healing himself.
"Tho old man must really be pissed at us." Kalkus said to his brother as they watched the priest get bullied up the hill by their sibling. "Making us force march this geezer." His twin brother, Kaskal was sniffing the air. "What is it?" "I smell a woman."

Damnit! She grabbed Tiska and shoved him into a hollow buiried deeop within the brush "Stay here, and don't make a sound! I am going ahead, when all is clear, I want you to find Mr. Trace and assist him. Please, trust me, I won't be taken down so easily!" He looked to her frantically, but nodded, and she quickly headed up a large tree. She was a good 25 or so feet off of the ground now, and she quickly but cautiously made her way among the interlaced branches. She soon spotted the company, with Father ache in their midst, and She drew her crossbow and fired, hitting the ground mere inches from Father Rache. She was ready, knowing full well the potention fo those surrounding him, and her small chances against them. Hopefully, they would underestimate her enough to allow her to take advantage of it

Kalkus grabbed the priest by the throught, his sharp claws drawing blood from his neck. "So you led us into a trap eh?" He squezed tighter. "Tell your 'friends' to come out, or you just died."

Father Rache trembled with anger "What is the meaning of this folly? Your leader Jinmaru hold her captive and makes me accompany you people in exchange for her freedom, and now you are accusing me of having her set up a trap? So this was Jinmaru's plan then, to have you people take me into the woods and kil me?"
Sister Apathie aimed her crossbow at Father Rache. "You, all of you, don't move! Make another move, and I shall send my bolt through his heart, and you shall never recieive your precious relic that you are suppose to bring back. And then your boss will be angry with you." This wasn't too bad, luck seemed to be her way, for the moment, at least, they thought they were surrounded. "Not thatit will matter, though it seems a waste for us all to kill such beautiful and strong men such as yourselves."
Tiska could hear what was going on in the distance, and quickly and quietly crawled out of his hiding hole. With a whisper, he clutched his rosary, and attempted the prayer, just as the Sister had "Oh Mother of holy spirit, Ren Eva, grant me the purest of your power, protect us and guide us to where we must be!" His focus was Trace, and he was surrounded by a white orb. He reappeared in the armoury of the temple, and he stumbled to his knees, as he had used up much power in chanting the spell. At least, though, he had successfully cast it. He knew Trace must still be in the temple, undoubtedly fighting still. He gathered his courage together, and remember, despite his nature, he did possess the power of an Orc Elder General. e was shunned from his people because he was suppose to succeed his father, but his nature was not befitting of orcs and their beastly ways. He stood up, knowing he couldn't just sit around, and approached a nice shining red set of Ancient Orcish armor, held up on a stand, obviously for decoration. He reluctantly touched it. Smooth, metallic and warm to the touch. He lifted it carefully from the stand and tried on the pieces. They fit perfectly, as if they were made for him. "Alright, Tiska, you do it now!" He quickly ran out of the room, grabbing some vials of holy water, and placing them on his belt. Another was held in his left hand, and his right was extended. He ran through the entry hall and down the corridor. He reached Sister's room to find Jinmaru gone and the others tending to wounds "Sir Trace, Sister has gone off on her own! I worry for her!" He ran over to the men "She said for Tiska to help you, so Tiska helps. I found armor too, I will fight for Sister Apathie!"

Trace rolled his eyes. "That woman is harder to save than a troll in a firestorm." He helped Michael up and took off his backpack. He reached his arm down to his shoulder in, then ducked his head in, than his whole torso. He emerged with a confused look. A light came to his eyes as he hand an epiphany and he pulled a massive book out of the smallest pouch. "Ok, we're on the border of Nakation and Nas Leona." He opened to a page that was a map of the surrounding area. He showed it to Tiska. "Where is she?"
A colossal shadow came over the group. They bowed down, Kalkus bringing Rache down with him. A red dragon landed heavily above them. "Why is it taking you so long Selva?!" His voice made the ground shake.

Tiska pointed to the forest due east of the hills where the temple was located. "This is where we were, the forest where it always is dark. The tower is 3 days through the forest, I think Sister will go by herself to stop Rache" He looked up at Trace "I will fight too, protect Sister, protect sacred peace. Stop evil bad people, I will not lose!"
Sister Apathie quickly loaded her grappling bolt and fired it through the branches. She swung down, landing a good 35 feet ahead of the others. She ran ahead, dropping caltrops everywhere to hinder their progress, as weel as making decoy aroma markers to throw off her scent and confuse their noses. If their sense of smell was as good as it appeared to be, the trap would be more than effective at confusing their sense of smell. She kept running, casting a Hallucination Tread spell on her. Now three images of her appeared a good 10 feet behind her and on each side, while she herself was cloaked. They all moved in opposite directions ahead. Each image shared her aura as well as her scent, look, and sound. The would last as long as she kept moving, until she stopped for a rest. And she knew she could make it to the tower. She had to, for the sake of Tisak as well as the church

The half-dragons tried to go after her, but Malisvir stopped them. "I have a plan."
Trace nodded and put the book back into its pocket. "I guess you can come along, don't know how much use you'd serve." He put his hands together and cast the spell that took him near the tower. Once there, he took off, looking around the area. "Jinmaru will keep her alive if he catches her. His children will most likely do the same. Michael, prepare to message her in the morning." He looked up at the moon and sighed. With a few gestures, he summoned a small shack. "I guess we'll spent the rest of the night in the shanty." He opened the door. It was lavishly decorated inside. And huge.

Sister Apathie continued to move on foot, all night, sometimes slowing to a walk, but never stopping. She was bent on reaching the tower and retreiving the Parilis Bible before the others. She eventually came to a clearing as the day had begun, and it opened out to reveal a vast tower of stone, large, and beaten. A small shack was nearby, but she disregarded it and went straight for the tower, a small leaf still hanging from her hair from the woods. She quickly made her way up the large staircase, and entered the tower. A sealed door immidiately blocked her way, and the strong ancient magics binding the tower made it impossible for anything to get in or out of it except through this door. She observed the seal, and read the ancient writings. Only thou who is of purest motherly blood may carve the way to the sacred tome She thought a bit, then took her finger and traced the figure in the center of the door, as if she were caressing a cheek. She nerself knew not how she had figured this out, but nonetheless, the seal clicked, and the door opened. She entered, and stepped onto what appeared to be a large gondola, which immidiately began to move up.
Tiska had fallen asleep shortly after arrival, and had woken up as morning had come round. He stepped outside to see Sister apathie run into the tower, and with a sudden resolve, he ran in after her. He came to stop at the sealed door, as it had shut as soon as she had entered.

Trace yawned as he practiced his spells for the day. Michael and Ice were doing the same. After an hour Trace called out for Tiska. "No sence searching for a way in, orcling. That door is shut tighter than a maid of Valarian. There's only two ways I know of to get in. The easy way involves removing the door completely. We're going to wait for the sending spell. Hopefully the sister will turn around and open it from the inside. Otherwise, I get to do it the easy way."
Michael finished his spell and the 25 word message was sent. Sister, turn around and open the door for us. Running around is only making our job harder. It is safer to stay with the Agronaughts

Sister Apathie recieved the message just as she reached the altar that held the Parilis Bible. She sent him back "Do not worry, I am returning this very moment with the Parilis bible. No one can enter unless I let them in, that includes Jinmaru"

Trace rolled his eyes as Michael gave him the message. He regarded the orc once more. He was head strong, yet still followed orders. Maybe he had what it took to become an Agronaut. Apathie certainly had more balls than brains, she would fit right in. Not to mention that the Agronauts were a rowdy but chivalrous bunch. Trace had hand selected each member for combat effectiveness and personality. There was not a single member of that group that would hesitate to die for his comrades. Trace himself had nearly died saving Jay countless times, and he didn't really like the half-dragon. He jerked his head back as the door began to open.

The leaf that had clung to Apathie's clothing swooped up and landed on the Parilis bible, just as Apathie opened the door. Suddenly a flash of blinding light was emitted, and when it subsided, a tall, muscular woman with her hair in a large bobtail was standing off in the distance, holding the Ancient Tome. She conveniently slipped it between her breasts, which were ample enough to hide it from view, then pulled the chain from her belt and held it with one hand "Sorry, children, but this book is coming with me, I am under strict orders to take it back to HQ. Don't worry, you can entertain the dragon, I am sure he will be quite happy to listen to your explanations!" She was swept up by a giant maple leaf, and flew away on it, as the trees began to sway on the outer edges of the woods, and a volley of razor-sharp leaves and branches raced toward the group
She reached the Shrine within minutes, and entered with haste, teleporting to Seido to head from there to HQ
