Okay I am in need of support from my fellow comrades. Curently on one of my guild I am debating with somone, the topic: NaruHina v.s. NejiHina. Please give me plausible and debatable reasons why NaruHina pwns NejiHina. Thankyou!! ^___^

-(for that flashback of Hinata/Neji's past) Just cause Neji says, "Father, she looks cute!" doesn't mean he likes her. neutral Neji's older than her, so he must've seen her as a baby at that time. (Athough I do agree, Hinata was so cute. 4laugh )
-Neji hated Hinata before for a bad reason and actually wanted to kill her. That's plain wrong, and he even attacked her emotionally... stare (although yes, he doesn't hate her anymore. sweatdrop )
-Hiashi would not approve. eek He'd want his daughter to marry the Hokage, obviously. blaugh
-Naruto beat Neji in the 3rd part of the chunin exams, so if you'd like, think of it as a love battle for Hinata. xd After all, that fight in Naruto's eyes really was for Hinata. 4laugh
The last two were more of a joke than a real reason. sweatdrop Truth is, I think you should just focus on how NaruHina is more romantic than NejiHina. 3nodding
Seriously, I can't think of anything... NejiHina is pretty innocent to me.....I see nothing they did wrong (except it's like a crack pairing, and they are cousins like Macroth said...) Just protect our NaruHina. heart ^_^
(What guild was this in? Maybe I'm in it, and I can help. 3nodding )

I just don't think NejiHina would work out. Neji has sworn to protect his cousin, so he shows a different kind of love. It's family love. Neji seems to be (recently, as in the timejump, not the little thirteen-year-old Neji that ran around screaming "FAAAATE!! FAAAAAAAAAATE!!!") much more mature and has a better sense of morality. Falling for his cousin just doesn't seem to fit his nature.
Hinata also seems to look up to her older cousin now like a brother and protector. If anything, I think Neji would be one to check out whomever Hinata dates, just to make sure they would be good to her. I think he would take the place of a protective brother figure.
Hinata obviously sees Naruto differently than most others, and sees how sweet he really is while no one else seems to try. Naruto needs someone like that, someone to talk to and vise versa. Hinata seems like she would be a very good listener, and could probably put up with Naruto's rambling. They're both two different extremes, and somehow 'complete' eachother. They can teach eachother things; Hinata can show Naruto how to be more respectful and such, and Naruto can show Hinata how to enjoy her life and come out of her little shell.

You guys sure know how to hammer a point home! If I ever need back up in my naruhina discussions, I know who to call on.
I think something to add. In the Manga, though not in the anime, when Naruto totally whips Neji. He says "I hope you saw that Hinata!" And it's really cute, in the anime it seems he forgot about her, but when he says that in the manga it's like he was thinking of her the whole time.
Although, she didn't see it sad , stupid injuries. I blame Orochimaru!

Me too! ^__^ They are one of my OTP's along with SasuSaku, ShikaTem, ChouIno, and NejiTen! Well Im gonna get a system working here, Ill put something that the person Im debating with said and you guys try and help me counter it! M'kay?
1. Naruto is a Shonen manga, and in Shonen mangas the story is generally set around the male characters, so the male character, here being neji, should get what he wants, here being Hinata.
I am mostly having trouble with this one so any help would be apreciated!! ^__^

kakashis_future_wife 1. Naruto is a Shonen manga, and in Shonen mangas the story is generally set around the male characters, so the male character, here being neji, should get what he wants, here being Hinata. That's not necessarily true. It's true that Naruto IS a shounen manga, but not every manga is the same. Naruto in particular. In the Naruto manga, the females have nearly equal abilities as the males. They can have bloodline limits, special abilities, can advance in ninja rankings, are put in teams with males, etc. There are more male characters than females, but that doesn't mean they have less influence over their lives. The Naruto universe is rather realistic, in the human abilities/psyche sense. They feel very real, and have believable limits and abilities (ninjutsu aside). And where is it actually stated that Neji literally wants Hinata? He has stated that he wants to protect her, but has never actually said he wanted Hinata as a girlfriend. It is true that Naruto hasn't said this either, but he doesn't realize that Hinata is secretly very fond of him. He just has too much on his mind right now. Neji hasn't shown any interest in Hinata in that way, and nor Hinata towards him. I also can't see Hinata throwing away all the hope and everything she has learned from Naruto over the many years and falling for her cousin and sworn protector.
