wizardly_warlock Hello there! I'm Alan, I'm 15 and I'm from North Yorkshire. I love all things Sct-fi and fantasy, my favorite TV shows include Charmed, TORCHWOOD (obviously! LOL), Boston Legal, Prison Break and a whole load of others! I love to read and play the Sims all day! PM me if you like! Welcome! The Sims is cool xd I'm planning on playing it in a minute, but first I've got to get my homework done. Back to school tomorrow.

Wow, nice name! x3
My mule's Hagure - a random pairing name that I ship from Fruits Basket (HatorixShigure, if anyone's read/seen it...).
We're going back to school on Thursday. Not a long enough break! crying

Cool. I've never seen Fruits Basket, but I've heard of it, and I want to see it. My sister did borrow it from her friend a couple of weeks ago, but she had to give it back before I got the chance to look.
My two youngest sisters go back Thursday. I've got to go back tomorrow, which means today is the day I really shouldn't be on gaia (I've got tonnes of coursework) but who cares? I've almost done it anyway.
You've only been sleeping in till 8? Pfft. Normally, I'd still be in bed right now. I'm only up before I had four alarms go off at half seven this morning, and even then I didn't get up until eleven (about the time mum dragged me out of bed kicking and screaming.)

What year are you in at school? What subjects are you studying?
I am in Year 11 (yay for mocks being over)
I take:
English, Maths and Citizenship (only forced subjects) but I had a choice in IT (single or double) and P.E (GCSE, Non GCSE or JSLA [Junior Sports LEaders award] I took JSLA) Double Award ICT (4 lessons whee ) Music History Engineering Physics
I think that is it xd

I'm Year 10 xd
I'm taking:
-Seperate Sciences (Meaning I have to stay behind after school for an extra lesson, because they can't be bothered to take off a PSE lesson and have it then instead.) -Maths (Which I'm doing a year early. I sat my mocks last month and did really badly.) -RE (Because I wanted something easy) -Media -Drama -Food Tech -English Language -English Lit (Which reuses alot of my English Language coursework, so I don't have to do much work.)
I'm also in a young enterprise company which I get a GCSE in (which is good, because I don't really do much in the company.) I was going to do Double Award ICT, but my teachers said I could do the extra science instead (I found ICT really easy in years 8&9, and didn't want to have to do another year of it. Instead of doing any work I just ended up helping other people.) I was going to do music as well, but I don't like composing and stuff. A lot of my friends are doing it though, and I'm still having singing lessons (I'm doing my Grade 4 later this year gonk )
God, I ramble alot.

Physics is cool xd My teacher doesn't really care what we're told to do in the lesson plans, he just does whatever. We were electrocuting each other a couple of weeks ago.

Ah. We were doing Static Electricity at the beginning of the year xd We had a fairly small Van Der GRaff Generator and because I had fairly long hair back then they wanted to see if my hair would stick up (mainly because I was one of the few people who didnt use gel)
But because of the perming solution to straighten my hair and the Dye in it, it didnt go so well. I touched the Tube Lighting that was off and it lit up though, a spark jumped as I poked someone too, it hurts. The teacher held the dome while we touched it so he was earthing it biggrin

We did that. Since it's quite a small class we all got a go at messing round with it. One of the girls tried to make her hair stand up, but she uses wax in it so it didn't work at all. When I had a go, we made a chain of people with the people in the middle standing on books. My friend was on the end, and she accidently let go of my hand and then grabbed hold of my metal bracelet I was wearing. Yeh, that hurt.
I don't use anything in my hair (well, hairspray sometimes, when I bother to straighten it, but otherwise nothing) but even then it didn't stick up. I stick gave everyone I touched an electric shock though (no, I wasn't doing it deliberately *shiftly eyes*)

In my school, people are choosing their GCSEs in Year 8 and starting them in Year 9 now v.v
If you are wondering about any of the courses, most schools do them similarly, except from my thoughts on ICT where it can vary on if you do an exam or not, since mine is 100% coursework, which you aren't allowed to do at home xd
Most of my subjects give little to no homework, I am usually homework free, or I just dont do it razz

YEAR EIGHT?
But they're 12 years old, 13 at the most! gonk
Holyshh....
I hate ICT, though. Dx We've never had a proper teacher. Two year ago, we had a maths teacher who couldn't turn the computer on. One year ago, we had a farmer who spent about 5 minutes briefing us, 30 minutes demonstrating roughly what we had to do, gave us 10 minutes to do it all (though he took the whole of that 40 minutes to do it), then 5 minutes to talk about it. Almost every lesson we had him for we spent the 5 minutes saying, 'we couldn't do it, sir'. We also had a student teacher last year for about a month or something. He left shortly after a rumour started circulating about him doing a guy in sixth form (who is a dancer, and excessively gay). This year, we've got our headteacher taking out ICT lessons. Dx
He just does all the lessons from a book he has. xp

If I had a magic Teaching License I would SO relieve you of your teachers.
I may not be that great, I may have to follow lesson plans, but I wont take your internet access away for playing games or going on gaia in class (we have it unbanned in our school whee )
