Raven's heart softened as she set money aside for their meal and followed afterward, Dyvim in tow. She liked kids and she somewhat thought of Underas as children.
"Merethist...We're not trying to be mean. We are simply showing you, in a very bad way, that getting into things that don't belong to you can be a very bad thing."

Merethist puffed his cheeks out and buried his head in Jays shoulder, so his blue hair mixed with Jay's as it cascaded over Jay's shoulder. Jay smiled and kissed Merethist atop his head.
"c'mon cheeky, cheer up. or i'll have to kiss you summore" Jay whispered in the Undera's ear and chuckled when Merethist 'kuu'ed and kissed Jay on the cheek, Jay copied and he hugged him closer.

Genevieve felt guilty about Merethist's reaction. She hadn't meant to be unkind to the young Undera, she was merely trying to warn him about what might happen if he continued going through people's purses. She didn't particularly care. The contents of her purse didn't make her happy, so if they made the Undera happy, she was glad of that.
"I'm sorry, Mere. I should have thanked you for finding my purse, perhaps, rather than scolding you."
She looked around in her purse, for something she knew was in there...somewhere. One would think with all that empty space it would be easy to find something, really. At last her fingers closed around it and she held out a fisted hand toward Merethist, and then uncurled her fingers slowly, revealing a rabbit's foot.
"If you'd like it, you may have it," she said. She had no idea why she carried the thing. "It hasn't done much for me, but in the giving, a gift automatically becomes lucky, neh?"
