KO-KO Wind-Whisper Eirwyn Mine would look like an antique carousel pavilion! whee My mule Whatsit's TARDIS looks like a port-a-loo. mrgreen I don't know what mine would look like if I were a Timelord. Maybe an English cottage. My mule, "Ko-Ko", would have a TARDIS that looks like something Japanese, but I have no idea what. Just a funny comment: "Koko" is actually based on the character from Gilbert & Sullivan's "The Mikado", and I once wrote a fan-fiction story where the 4th Doctor lands in Titipu, ends up with Koko in his TARDIS, and the Sontaran who got trapped there from the old "Invasion of Time" story, and I had fun with that! Well, there you have it! That was the TARDIS I travelled in, and so it is the only one I know! Oh, if you were a Timelord and had your own TARDIS, it would look like a Japanese tea house!

Well, mine would look like something that would fit for the time i'm in. Although the conceptof making it look like a flying saucer has all sorts of awesome.
The insides would look like spaceship corridors. White walls loaded with screen panels and controls. The main control room would have the time rotor, with what would look like a spaceship's bridge surrounding it.
I like to be organized, and have form follow function.
Oh, there would be a very big library on one of the decks. Just for those boring trips through time and space.

-trying to revive this interesting thread-
I think I'd want mine to be like....like a giant hand-bag or something like that. Open it up and just hop right in, or stick it over my head and disappear. Quite handy for shoppin'. cool Not only functional, light-weight and easy to tote around too..

Mine would be leopard print on the outside and would probably be stuck in police box form. But I would fix the chameloen circuit and change it into random leopard print objects. mrgreen

I was actually just watch 'Rose', and I thought of this. Was there ever an episode where the Doctor actually went back to the 1950's and lost the TARDIS because they had them there too? Like, I can imagine him and Martha, trying to escape some monster that's chasing them and she's racing towards this police box on the corner and he stops and he's like:
"What're you doing?" "What do you think I'm doing? I'm gettin' into the TARDIS!" "That's not it." "What?" "That's not the TARDIS." "What do you mean, 'not the TARDIS'? It's a big blue police box!" "Well...this is the 1950's." xD
But that's sorta random. But muninn's TARDIS idea reminded me of it.

I dunno. I would want it to matbe look like The Police Call box but thats to much like the Doctors. Then I might want to have some thing like a Shed or a Piller from Roman times. Maybe a statue. or a Panio. But juat as a joke a port-o-pody and have it painted blue then have it that there is a lock on it.

Mine would be a very large backpack. For the sake of convenience. Actually, a backpack Tardis really would be almost unimaginably convenient, wouldn't it? If someone passed out, stick them in the Tardis! And you could never lose it...
It would obviously not only have to be smaller on the outside, but weigh less, too.

For the outside, I'd go to where it would turn into a police box and break the chameleon circuit. mrgreen The inside would look all nicely like the smaller, wooden control room. My bedroom would have random flags, plastic flowers, banners, and colorful (but not necessarily brightly so), eclectic things all over the place. There would be many bookshelves, and it would have an honest-to-God kitchen. I'd often read and drink in the control room.
