((You people who want a Wii should come to my Wal-Mart. They had 20 on release day, which all got sold before one o'clock (23 people in line for it at midnight), and we just got more. They have sold about 50 (not including the 20 at first) and still have some in stock. My town is so small, but it rocks, non the less. Oh, and we had people from Kansas City and Omaha in line for a Wii at our Wal-Mart. It was pretty funny.))

1 week since launch, and I still don't have one. (So much for having it on launch day)
GameCrazy needs to get higher on the food chain, This is getting rediculous.
Only 3 whole systems since launch so far, with more supposedly coming in this week. If it wasn't for the fact that $130 of my cash for it was in store credit, I'd be looking around at other places for it. Though I doubt i'll find it anywhere else either.

and actually, they had 18, but those bastards said people had pre-ordered them all, even though they told us they weren't doing any orders for them anymore, these bastards are pissing me off >.<

i'm guessing those were pre-orders that hadn't been filled on launch day....just a guess though.

I had imagined that all reserves at all stores would have had a higher priority, since those people went out of their way to pay for the system before it was even out yet, with the general idea of getting it on launch day.
Obviously this isn't the case, Toys "R" Us got the most of any single chain of stores (coming in at over 100 per store), while GameStop got, on average, about 25 systems per store.
The people who reserved SHOULD have gotten them first, but this is coming from a frustrated person who just wants his Wii so he can have balance in his sanity again.

balance yes, sanity no, I ran out of sanity when people were revealing themselves to be acting like idiots. not recognizing god and buying sony products regardless of how poorly constructed they are.
so I'm pretty much out of sanity, I have chaos running through my mind, do I let it control me? not by much. but if you preorder and you dont pick it up, ******** you then! you had your shot! launch day is when the preorders get filed in and the consoles get sold. those who didnt get their preorders within a week of launch gotta wait longer before getting something!
it's rather fair since the console is sold at a first come, first serve basis.

the only place I know of that would sell a pre-ordered system to someone that walked in is GameStop. And that is ONLY if you took longer than 48 hours to get it after it was released.
The store i pre-ordered from got 3 WHOLE CONSOLES at launch, and have gotten no more since, it's not my fault i haven't gotten a system yet, it's nintendo's since apparently other stores deserve to get systems even though GameCrazy is a national game store just like GameStop.
And i was talking about MY sanity, which I won't get back til I have a Wii to play for hours and hours.

KendraMiko *walks in and looks anrond* lol Ok i have know idea whats going on but i works. well we're talking about the Wii, and who has purchased it already. my mother has assured me that she'll be purchasing the Wii for the house simply because she thinks it'll be good excersize, and she likes the new Wiimote. looks like the guys at Nintendo were right, the Wii is a very desireable console thanks to it's simple intuative controls. ^_^ like pointing a mouse and using a stick. now if they'd make a tray that worked like a normal controller like using a PC controller, that would make it partially easier for some gamers to adapt the Wiimote for PC use. oh, I think I spurred the avatar system for the Wii using the Mii system, I sent them a message asking they use an avatar system to make finding fellow gamers easier. ^_^ who knew it would be put in huh? beats the s**t out of the friend codes. ^_^

Well I just looked at Gamehead on spike just now and I really want to get a wii. More so than a Ps3 now. SSX Blur looks really fun and I hope the two player mode isn't as long as the last SSX game or rather SSX tour . Seriously it felt like we played that game for hours on end just on one freakin' MT. I don't think I will get Mario since I didn't enjoy Sunshine but I know I will get Twilight Princess, the sims for my kid bro and friend, maybe red steel.
