QueenOfMallets Yea, we all know Riku and Sora aren't canon, but we prefer them as the main couple anyway, for obvious reasons. XD *cough*yestheyare*cough* Akuroku though... Hell, even the hard-core anti-yaoi fans, when they see that stuff... *smirks* Either they're eyes and ears start bleeding, or they just kind of stare for a few mintues in disbelife. "They made Sora's Nobody GAY!!! OMG!!111!!!! NOES!!!!111111"

Nothing in this game is canon except for some Disney pairings like MickeyMinnie, and this freedom that the fans can get from the game is an absolutely great thing. Nothing's canon, so everything can be canon and everyone's OTP is valid. =3

Yes, I "insulted" women. So?
Did you people forget that I happen to be gay? I have no intrest in women whatsoever, so what makes you think I would feel the need to be careful in what I say about them? Girls insult guys all the god damn time. confused
At least i'm not saying perverted things about women, if you ask me, that's worse. Damn those hentai fanboys. ~~~ Anyway.
And yes, riku/sora and aku/roku are canon.
because both pairings are heavily feasable. Its not unrealistic to imagine them falling in love, when you ignore gender as a dominating factor. Pairings dont have to be straight to be canon, or featured as homosexual in the first place [like gravi shuichixyuki].
non canon would be a pairing like riku and axel, or demyx and mickey. [O.o] Because we know that neither of those pairings ever came in contact with eachother at any point in the game. non-canon is basically crack pairings [which should never be explored.. ever. D:].

I've...never insulted a man.
And I guess I'm just very touchy about generalizations. >.<
Canon isn't just based on hints, it's when a couple actually gets together and that is not only the creater's intent, but what actually happens. It's official. They say it, they show it through kissing, they are made intentionally on the screen together. Canon couples in the game are:
MickeyMinnie: They're married. ArielEric: They both are a couple, they kiss. JackElizabeth: They are both a couple, they kiss.
Since no couples that aren't Disney couples do that, really, nothing's canon. And I see nothing wrong with a crack pairing if it's written well. They can be quite interesting, and if they're in character, it can be made to work, and ends up being a sort of breakthrough that shows a lot of effort and imagination. ^_^

I've never insulted men either, just those jackass Drugee skater/rocker boys that seem to run rampant in my school.

Never have I insulted a man. Then again, I'm not a rude person. However, my friends insult men all the time. >_>

Oh, and I just want to say one last thing, though I'll say it in a new post just so perhaps those who might've already read the last post will see this one.
Anyway.
I don't believe KeaLe insulted the female population. O_O Yes, that's right.
And here's why. KeaLe is a guy, and one that ISN'T in to girls. Ok? So, therefore, he doesn't know how the female mind works. Is that such a crime? Not knowing how females operate because you're a guy? Exactly.
Personally, if there was some one I loved who fell for some one else, it would be a LONG time before I was happy, or before I looked for some one else. KeaLe was stereotyping, because there are a LOT of us girls who would be EXACTLY that way. Stereotyping, while it isn't great, is NOT the same insulting.
So... yeah. Just thought it had to be said.

it varies with everyone. confused
I liked this one guy a lot a few months ago but he got together with my other friend. I wasn't happy about it at all at the time, but I still supported them because they were my friends and I wanted them to be happy. confused

...I just wrote a psychotically enraged letter and was going to post it in the Guild, but changed my mind at the last minute. I for one... am not happy at the moment with... certain things that have been said, in this thread and in others. But... I'll wait. I'll calm down and then write something... less... kamikaze flaming death. Maybe.

Pleasurable Haycock I really don't see her as a fangirl. xD
HOWEVER. exclaim
I do think it's absolutely ridiculous to say that Kairi separates Riku and Sora. Hell, she's the glue who keeps them together. If Riku and Sora got together, sure, she may be sad/upset about it, but that's normal. I'm sure she'd be very supportive of their relationship, and be happy if they were.
:] Why are you hiding your opinion? I agree with you. biggrin
