i gotteh question! domokun how come xena lost her xenaness when her chakram broke? neutral i already decided that it only broke when it hit her cuz they were best friends 4laugh
ALSO domokun in deh xena scrolls episode she had deh first chakram eek bot deh swoosh yinyang one eek le gasp! eek

Just very close friends. Both of them have had many opportunities to get involved with guys, and have a few times, but it never works out for them. The guys always either die, get killed, or turn out to be traitors, or one person isn't interested in the other, or the guy's already involved with someone else.

Lucy Lawless on Xena and Gabrielle: "Now it wasn't just that Xena was bisexual and kinda liked her gal pal and they kind of fooled around sometimes, it was, 'Nope, they're married, man.'" Also on the commentary of FIN Lucy talks about how she played it like Xena and Gabby were a couple. Of course Renee O' Connor laughs and talks about how she didn't play it that way at all, that she 'played it straight'. Guess it's up to the viewer, but the actors readily admitted to playing up the whole "subtext" thing.

It wasn't the chakram hitting her that took her memory, since she had her memory in the episodes where they were dead. When they came back, the chakram of light/dark had to be delt with. Only the purest person on earth could remove the chakram of light from the alter... Death sort of purged all her sins, so the whole partial amnesia thing made her totally 'pure' so she could get the chakram. When the chakram of light was neutralized (merged with her old chakram, thus creating the ying/yang one), she no longer needed to be pure, so her memories returned. or at least, that's how I interpreted it.

Azhren I GOTTA QUESTION! blaugh yuu know when gabby an hope were all falling an stuff inteh deh pit? domokun so... how did they both not die then? neutral Dahak saved hope, and Gabrielle fell onto a rock ledge and was knocked out. She must have climbed out of the pit in a daze when she woke up, collapsed when she got out, and was taken to a hospital/hospice/whatever she called it.
