Dyclonius Eh.. In another Elfen Lied guild i'm in, A lot of people dislike nyu XD Well yea, if this is an Elfen Lied guild then I'd expect that poll to be "YES it rocks xd !" Nyu, so-so to me. Lucy is just so the smex. I guess if Lucy never had those kind of experiences when she was younger she wouldn't have that other kind of personality, that comes out when she bleeds now, ne? Mmm, yea Lucy heart *flutter* I don't know many animes that don't have scantily clad girls or violence. And Nyuu/Lucy doesn't quite do both, well yea- those couple butt shots, lol. And whole Kouta 'grope me' thing. Lol. She wasn't half naked then though. I really thought Nyuu was funny when she was all molesting Nana in the washroom. Overall my favourite Nyuu moment was when they were walking around that shitty doctor dyclonious guy's lab and the throws the frog and just tra-la-la's and so on. Lol, but yeah.. no reason to dislike the anime AT ALL!! or Nyuu.Lucy is a sex-bomb though.. can I have her for christmas? 3nodding razz

Another thing I have to say, about the "too emo to dark or gothic",
load of poo, you don't like it, good for you. Go along and do what you like ^.^,
The first episode may have caught me the most. I'm not sure if the was the most- that and with Bondo.
Everyone feels pain. So much of it and in different ways, different ways of channeling it as well, you wanna watch a "gorey" anime - do it.
Made me cry, now it warms me up who didn't cry at one point. Everyone, no matter what the circumstances- type of person or personality has feelings, so it's a crew of fictional character's- pain, killing, revenge, regret, secrets.
W/e it may be. Opinions are what they are and Elfen Lied as an all-time classic.

elfen lied is good enough said I think it was pretty good but it made my other animes look like nothing compared to elfen lied

People who say Elfen Lied suck are retards. I don't care who they are. they can just keep they're opinions to themselves. Lucy pwns.(so does nyu) nana not so much. and i don't like Mariko because 1. she can't walk. 2. she is wierd neutral 3. SHE TRIES TO KILL LUCY!!!! stressed stupid.

Ayane-Chan17 Ive been on websites that have said elfen lied sucks,That it is to emo or something like that. do you agree or disagree? I disagree those people just don't have the heart to watch it

I think "depressing" is the wrong word. I would go more with "tragic" since the fate of the heroine is questionable (though i believe it's her at the end :crying:....), characters who had flawed or unfair pasts are killed off (Kurama/Mariko [i heart Mariko!!!) and innocents get murdered by the dozen (Kouta's sister one of them). Also, I believe it's an anime that's meant to shock the audience into thinking about what the word "Humane" really means, as humans are the ones that are portrayed as being the most cruel (and, thankfully, get what they deserve twisted .
BTW, Lucy is the shizzznit, BOW TO THE QUEEN twisted twisted !!

First of all:
There's no point asking people on an Elfen Lied guild whether or not they actually like Elfen Lied. If they don't, they're either desparate for attention or just plain stupid.
Secondly:
ELFEN LIED IS NOT EMO/GOTHIC, IT'S HORROR/DRAMA/ROMANCE/SEINEN/TRAGEDY/BADASS/FRICKIN'-BEST-SERIES-EVAH! ANYONE WHO DISAGREES GETS THEIR LIMBS TORN OFF! scream scream scream scream

Kidding. XD I'm not that violent...but yeah. I never though it was really gothic or emo...but I suppose that's just me.
I'm okay with people who don't like the series, and people who thinks it's emo/gothic...my best friend thinks the series is absolutely awful, and I still love her. ^.^ However, I tend to get along more with those that like it than those that don't.
