Hmmm...I kinda feel sorry for the brats because they have to deal with her! I give them brownie points for that.

Mienai_Kizu Richard is a little b***h... Yes. I couldn't sum it up better myself. Even lately I don't hate him as much as before but he is still a little b***h. I have a list of the characters I dislike almost as long as the characters I like. At a tie on the top of the list (at this moment) is Ronnie and Dolph. I never really had much of an opinion on either until they started acting wacky. It's almost as if they're jealous because for once Anita seems to be comfortable with her life and since things have turned sour for them they just can't let her near that happiness. Jessica also makes me want to choke her. And I agree, Tammy should have a nice piece of duct tape over that mouth. Same for Donna, who know matter how hard I try not to, I can't stop picturing with big hair and long finger nails ala Peggy Bundy. The fact that Tedward can tolerate her makes him just that much more scary in my eyes.

I know! Why would Edward choose her? He could have any piece of a** he wants. I don't know why he would pick Donna.

even though I don't like Donna, I do like her kids.
However.... whee I would LOVE for Tammy Reynolds to drop dead!! She is SOOOO annoying...acting all chummy! she's so 'new-agey' or something, i just hated her instantly(almost an unreasonable type of hate, but...), as soon as she was introduced...grrrrr stressed

I have never liked young children. Even when I was 6 I didn't like other little kids. I preferred to hang out with adults.

Then both Anita AND Edward can go after him. xd This plot is getting better and better.

Look, on Dolph, I can understand where he is coming from and actually, I feel sorry for him. I totally think that he was acting out of line, but I feel sorry for him. And I think that Anita is like his daughter and he feels that the "monsters" aren't good enough for her. Simply my opinion...(wish I could spell at some point *grumble grumble*)

I seriously hate Richard because of the way he constantly screws with Anita's emotions. First he loves her, but he hates himself. Then he hates her for being less than human. Then he hates her for sleeping with anyone but him, while meanwhile he is sleeping with members of his pack in a vain effort to establish someone else as lupa. All the while he gives her hope that they may still have something, even if it is just friendship, but he always snatches it away everytime he gets scared. She is better off without him in her life, but she can't completely shut him out because she joined in a Triumvrate of power to save both his and Jean Claud's life. So basically she is left with this emotional rolercoaster in addition to all the other problems she has.

I really dislike Richard. I've never been overly fond of the 'boy-scout' type because they're far to squeeky clean for their own good - or at least to be interesting. But add onto that all the mental and emotional anguish that he's put Anita through, and no matter how much she loves him I can't stand the guy.
That and I was introduced to the series by the time things started to fall apart for them sweatdrop

Layla DVanouse Everyone has a certain character in the series they despise. I know I have plenty of them. Tell us who and why. Then we can go on rants about why they are so horrible. After all, you can't love a series without having at least one character you dislike. stare I seriously don't like Richard and that is who I voted for. I just don't like him! He's a mental case, and he needs to be...I don't know. He needs to die or something. He also needs to let go. He's holding on way too hard to Anita. xp

I voted JC. As I've never really liked him, or seen the attraction. I used to hate Antia the most, but this last book has her a bit more in my favor, also she wasn't an option. How can I love a book series where I loath the main character? The person telling the story? I have no idea, all I know is that I love the books, but have on more then one occasion thrown one across a room due to my anger at something Antia has said or done.
As for JC, I know he's a main character, and most people love him, but I personally think he's a boring, flat, colorless character. Basically, he's just been used as a scapegoat for Antia's explicit behavior, and needs to move on.
I'd like to see more of Edward, and less of JC. I am a Richard fan, but prefer him to be written off. Give him a wife and kids and let him go on his way, Anita only drags him down, and Laurel is determined to make him into the bad guy at every which turn. No matter how bad he's become in the past two books, I just don't buy it. Richard was the one betrayed by Antia, and making him into a bad guy isn't going to make me forget that.
