Nice guide if I do say so myself.
Another thing to add though.
It works with the RP better if the characters had more relations with other characters. Like lets say one gaia user has a person named....Peter. And another gaia user has a person named....Todd. Now lets say both of their characters are from the same part of a country, Eastern England. (ehh the globe in my mind is fuzzy) Peter is a royal paladin who is like... 45 years old. And Todd is 15 years old, who has a mother, but knows nothing of his father. Peter could see Todd like Todd's father, in which Todd's father was a criminal. Peter ended up killing Todd's father long ago. And maybe throughout the story Todd was searching for the father he never had, and somewhere throughout the story, Peter tells Todd the truth. There could be some friction and in the later times, Todd finds a way to accept how his father died, and finds a father figure in Peter. And they live happily ever after...
Touching story, is'nt it? also one more ting. Kepp the badassery to the minimum. One thing with Rps is the # of people who think they are badasses. The only thing that makes a person a badass is the lack of badasses around him/her. wink

I have quite a few characters that I RP with, most of them still have their parents, but the only one that doesn't does have a good reason, her mother died in childbirth and after a long life, her father died of a sickness during old age. Purely pretty common.

Is my character all right? I never made an RP character before, nor have I RPed... I kind of want to make Blaise a loner and I figured making her a Branded one would help shape who she is. sweatdrop Quote:  Username: BlA5tFiRe Name: Blaise Description or Splice: Gender: Female Height: 5'5 Eyes: Gold Hair: Red Race: Branded One (Half Human/ Half Red Dragon) Age: ???, Looks 21 Class: Swordmaster Affinity: Fire Apparel: She wares a Swordmaster's outfit with short sleeves and a shorter skirt. She also has Goggles to protect her eyes to combat the harsh desert. Her Brand is located on her face and is mistaken for dirt. Personality or Past: Due to the nature of the branded ones, she is doesn't stay in the same place for too long and she developed a love for exploring deserts. Some times she runs into bandits and some how get's stuck joining up with them and learns how to sword fight along the way until the bandits disband or disown her for being a branded one. She doesn't verbalize a whole lot and a lot of the time she get's misunderstood. She prefers too keep moving forwards vs dwelling on the past. Debut in the Canon?:none (never RPed before and willing to try)
