kingpinsqeezels jewangel kingpinsqeezels jewangel kingpinsqeezels Last year for Chanukah I got moon boots. This year I'm hoping for a magen David. Only if I'm lucky though.... I shouldn't really expect jewelry, should I? sweatdrop you never know you might one year my mom gave my sister and i jewlery and some other chakkas she also gave me hannukah socks though their different from yours though. i never know what im going to get though i drop hints on what i want. Sufganiot from israel are kitrally to die for they're sooooo good i had some when i went to israel in 4th grade. What is a chakka? It sounds festive. chaka isnt festive it basically means odds and ends Haha, I see. I asked someone and they didn't know so...That's nice to know. my mom an israeli uses it alot at home

You know, from the point of the hallacha (code of jewish law), you don't actually have to have a menorah, the more important point is how you position the candles 3nodding (all are at the same height, all are visible, etc...). In the worst case, you can just stand them all on a piece of tinfoil!

one year my family actually used the tin foil but that was because we couldnt find a menorah

But generally there are more healthy alternative oils for latkes. I'm not sure about doughnuts. They probably wouldn't taste as good.
