The doctor was trembling and still trying to spit out words. "I--I Don't know what the hell you two are talking about!" he looked to the door every few moments, then back at Crim`.

"You're lying!" screamed Crim` as he pushed the doctor onto the hospital bed and grabbed a knife from his pocket. It was a small switchblade which he flipped open quickly. He pressed the blade's side against the doctor's neck and dragged the cold steel of it down his skin, not cutting.

"Tell us what we want to hear and we'll leave, your life will be your payment."

It was beginning to become clear of how Crim` had managed to get a bounty on his head.

Suddenly a noise came from the door as two security guards ran into the room, the two assistants standing behind them. The security guards in their basic tan uniforms reached for their guns in their belts, standard 9mm pistols.

Needless to say... Magnum bullets are painful and destructive things, and the two guards cried out in pain, one falling to his knees and the other falling to his side as both of them clutched their hands and screamed out in pain... Hands which seemed to be missing a few fingers.

"Hey you two!" Crim` screamed at the two assistants, who were speechless. "Get me a disc with all the information about your recent developments and you don't end up like those two." he said with a nod in the direction of the downed guards. He then knocked the doctor to the floor and put his knee on his neck, the doctor gasping for air. Crim` pointed the knife at the two who still stood there looking terrified. "Hurry up! Any data about exoskeletons and powered suits! And a list of your recent clients!"

The two ran off down the hall.

"Kata, go make sure they aren't calling for more security... And watch out for more guards or anything worse. I know they keep powered suits in certain areas of this place."

"So tell me doctor, been working on any new toys aside from this arm?" said Crim`, pressing his knee down into the doctor's head a bit as the man gasped and tried to break free. "I'm not telling you a thing! You'd have to..."

"Kill you? Well, that'd be stupid, besides, I'd rather keep you alive to see what new abominations you can bring to the world. Get up." said Crim`, standing and releasing the man. The doctor scampered to his feet and Crim` held the knife up to his neck quickly, causing the doctor to pause. "We were attacked doc, I need to know just who attacked me, and I have a pretty damn strong feeling that the thing that attacked us and came very close to killing me came from here. Now I don't want to cause more of a disturbance than I already have, once my friend gets the disc from your flunkies and we get that list of clients we'll leave. Got it? No repercussions or you all die, either by our hands or by that of my comrades. The two guards over there'll be fine, I'm sure you could make them new hands as well. Hell, as far as I know they're half cyborg already."

"...got it." replied the doctor, not moving, his eyes peering at Crim` sideways as his head leaned back, the knife still held against his jugular.

Crim` looked at the door, wondering what was taking Kata so long.

Crim` looked to Kata and smirked. "Good..."

Subsequently he knocked out the doctor, ran to the door, and peered around the corner. "So how do you wanna bust out of here? Loud and nasty or nice and quiet?" he asked, slipping the blade back into the handle of the switchblade and slipping it into his back pocket, leaning against the door and pulling a cigarette out of his jacket.

Crim` searched for his lighter, The magnum Kata had tossed him in his right hand. "If that's what you want. I'm more anxious to review that disc, though."

He looked down at the gun, rotating it and examining it. "Isn't this the one I gave you a long time ago?" he asked, smirking. He looked down to the shotgun she held. "Maybe we can go and take a look at their armory..."

He kicked out the cylinder and took a look inside at the ammunition. "Hm good enough." he said "Maybe I can find a nice handgun, I've been needing to get my hands on one... Nothing as destructive as this, though." he said with a smirk, setting the cylinder back with his left hand and then spinning the gun on his index finger.

"Let's take the stairs." he said, looking around the doorway. He broke into a dash down the hallway toward the stairway, the handgun held in his hand(hurh hurh). "Armory is on the 5th floor, if I remember correctly so it'll be a hike but I'm pretty sure going down the elevator is a bad idea." he said, pushing through the door that lead to the stairway. He peered around the stairway downward, pointing the gun wherever his eyes went then quickly turning and pointing it up the stairway. "Clear."

He was beginning to have a few second thoughts about this stairway plan as he began to run down the stairs. I mean, the elevator might be a bit too obvious but at least you could get out of it quickly, with the stairway they were in a narrow space... A narrow space where a fatal fall could easily occur, and one where they could get pinned down by the corporation's superior weapons easily.

No matter, he had a good wing(wo)man.

Crim` began running down the stairs. A few flights down and it was still so far so good, , no sign of guards. Suddenly a small clanking sound could be heard as a round object bounced along the stairway from above. "Grenade!" screamed Crim`, running forward then diving, as the grenade went off, the blast knocking him into a wall at the bottom of the flight of stairs he was on. He shook his head, a bit shaken, and looked up, looking for Kat. Perhaps though, he should've been more concerned with the three guards running down the stairs and gaining on them quickly, equipped with MP5 Submachineguns and full SWAT attire.

"Right..." Crim` said standing quickly, taking a shot at the guards which sent them running back up a bit, they peeked their heads out and took a few shots at Crim` and Kat. Crim` pushed her aside a bit and shot back, narrowly avoiding the bullets and effectively knocking Kat out of the way of any that might've been heading her way. The guards then made a mistake, they got bold. They both began running down toward them and that gave Crim` just enough time to target and basically blast out one of the shins of the one in front, sending him falling forward down the stairs a bit. Crim` quickly doubled back up the stairs. He grabbed the falling guard in front by his neck before he could topple over completely, crouching and using his body as a shield. In that second the other guard was uncertain whether he should shoot and possibly harm his comrade, it all happened so fast and Crim` raised the magnum in his right hand under the wounded guard's arm and let off a quick shot to the uncertain guard's throat. He pushed the guard with the wounded leg off of him, sending him hurdling down the stairs, the other guard falling and dying.

He took a moment to admire his work and then ran back down, stepping over the screaming guard.

"Alright, this'll only piss em off so we'd better get to the armory and fast."
