MaskedMaiden blindingfog MaskedMaiden blindingfog Yeah.. they start showing up as regular monsters in dungeons. I usually flee, and hear their thundering footsteps behind. cry It's scary.... dont be afraid, its not all that bad Well, when I do fight them, they kill me........ oh... well then by all means RUN! Heh heh. ^^ The creepiest thing about those t-rexes is when they feed on other monsters and become stronger.... They shouldn't ba allowed to do that... confused

The new battle system is great except it's hard to run away when the monsters chase you. And the size of the towns! *swoons* I'm want to go play more, but I'm stuck in work stare

All the characters seem to likeable that im not sure who the enemy is. I'll have to break that, then, by being amongst the first to say... I hate Ashe. I don't care if she's good or not. I hate her, she's a b***h. Vaan is...not sure just yet. But I love Fran. She's just, awesome, like Freya.

Oh, and I'd like to add that I think the Espers are just absolutely BRILLIANT. I love all of them. They're unique, and a definate change from the regular summons, such as Ifrit and Shiva. If anything, these guys are better. heart

All the characters seem to likeable that im not sure who the enemy is. I'll have to break that, then, by being amongst the first to say... I hate Ashe. I don't care if she's good or not. I hate her, she's a b***h. Vaan is...not sure just yet. But I love Fran. She's just, awesome, like Freya. My sister dislikes Ashe too. I understand where she's coming from, so she doesn't bother me. Where I am in the game, she doesn't really have lines anymore. She said one sentence after we beat a boss, and then mostly it's just been her doing her little gaspy thingy. Of course Fran is awesome. ^^ It's hard to say quite why.

(hi long time no see but I saw this and had to comment)
Well I rented the game and got to play a little (my sister hogged it after that) but I loved it. The graphics are so pretty. The battle system threw me off a little but I'm getting used to it. I like the fact that you can make your party memebers fight on their own, you don't have to control them the whole time. The money system though, I don't really like that monsters don't really drop money. Loot is a cool idea, that you can make items out of what you sell. Over all I like it what little I played. heart

Dunno if I'm gonna stop disliking her anytime soon, but...we'll see. I hated Princess Garnet, and honestly? After a while, I got a little attached to her. I've always hated the main girls - Tifa, Rinoa, Yuna - but she has been the only exception. I can't say that I liked Aerith much either, but I have too many reasons to name why, and I would preferably not begin to hate her over them. LilKitty115: I know! whee Yeee! So far, my favorite Final Fantasy favorites, for the girls? Fran, Freya, Lulu, and Quistis. heart I could get into the guys, but...hahaha, that would take too long. sweatdrop

I bought the game the day after release, and have only accumulated about 40 hours because of college / work. This is the only Final Fantasy that I have found it necessary to have the strategy guide.
The monographs are very useful, when farming enemies for loot, and all you really have to do to get them is some of the hunts, and talking to merchants a ton of times. I agree the having to go back and sell everything before you hit 99 is a little annoying, but no game is entirely perfect ( i had an urutan yensa chain of over 75 when i figured that out).
I really like the mark/ hunt system. What is kinda annoying though is that you get some of the hunts way before you can really kill the things they tell you to hunt.
I just hope that after the semester I will get a real chance to delve into the game.

I think it's annoying that you can't wear certain kinds of clothes or use certain kinds of weapons until you have enough license points. neutral

My mom had rented it for me, I played it for three days straight and fell in love!!! The battle system took me some time, but eventually I came to love it too. And. Balthier. Is. My. New. LOVER!!!! Omg! He's accent is so awesome!! And he's hott!! heart heart heart biggrin xd
The liscents thing kinda got on me... But you know, it just like the FFX grid... Just all... Polished up. XD I kind of saw the simlarities... XD
And Also... Hehe, I tried to go after the T-rex like at level 7 (not knowing what I was getting my self into) He hunted me down and killed me so face I screamed and froze there for 2 minutes wondering what just happened... xD xD
