"I wonder if there is anything left in this mud?" She thought as she lifted a bit of it with her mind. Just in case it was covered or something.

"Put it back down." he demanded, thinking that he had seen something. He needed to get a collar on his anger issues, and her lifting the mud he was working with at the moment was not helping. "I may not be an adult or even an elder, but I know when you shouldn't anger a bad pae." He said, turning around sharply to face her. Phim didn't care if she was an elder, and he didn't care anymore for keeping up faces. "Especially since the pae you just angered is one of the worst one the isle!" Phim was practically red with anger, and his veins were starting to show through his facial skin.

Jazz just looked at the teen. "Oh really?" She rolled her eyes. "I was looking under the mud. Something could be under it. And since I didn't touch it with my hands no fingerprints or anything. I think you should move on by yourself." She didn't want to show off her temper but that was just uncalled for.

Coronus had herd about what had happened and it seemed that this was only adding up to the war that she had been told about and seen what may be the two endings of the war. Landing in the mud Coronus sighed. "I should have known not to wear this here." grabbing the bottom of the dress she held it up so that it was out of the mud. Then she tied it up knot so that it would stay out of the mud.

Thoudging though the mud she got to a place that she hoped to be near the center of the swamp she placed the bottom of her staff in to the mud and concentrating on the period of time that she had guessed when the event had happened and whent in to the time stream heading to the event.

"I'm not sure what happened. Iris currently is asking for a search. Find out who the pae is, and what happened." He smoothly got off the horse and let it dissapate. Immediatly he formed three more orbs of darkness and turned them into three birds. Two sat on his shoulders and one on his arm. He looked at the one on his arm. "Scour the marsh for anything shiny. Necklaces, knifes, rings, wire, anything. If you're able to pick it up, fly it back to me." Recieving orders, it jumped into the sky. He looked at the right shoulder bird. "You look around for torn clothing and distruptions in the land. Like if something bulldozed through in a hurry, maybe some footsteps." It flew off as well. He glanced at the left. "You have the easiest but most important job. Search for any pae'il, fae or creature that looks suspitious and fleeing the scene. Basically, anything thats running away from this site." She watched with big eyes as the three birds took flight and went into three seperate directions. Her fathers power was...amazing at times.

((I have to go for the night and I wanted to move Jazz first, so sorry. I hope that's okay Umi.))

Nevermind I think I'll go. Have fun bad pae." Jazz chuckled and flew off covered in mud. She wanted to get clean and the marsh would still be there. She wanted to try somewhere else.

((Sorry 'bout that Mina, Dad kicked me off for a period of time XD))

Phim sighed, turning around and continuing to search through the muk for a bit before leaving to head towards Dragnid.

Starry looked at Raken. "Too bad my power is useless here." She said, watching a small star form and start glowing in her hand. "The most I could do is create light for us to search in." Starry looked at Junior helping the strange pae into a tree. "Junior hurry up! You two should be over here soon so we can fill each other in as much as possible." She called, coming down out of the tree to look Raken in the face.

Junior couldn't wait for Ayaina any longer, so he took off after making sure she was safely in a tree. "Coming Starry!" He called back, stumbling out of the nearest tree and looking at Raken and Dyas. "Do we know if the pae is dead?" He asked, having figured it was something about a pae getting harmed, or worse yet. "And Starry, do we know if Phim had anything to do with this?"

"Phim wouldn't have the guts to do something this daring, for Iris herself to see. Probably isn't even Amara since she is smart enough not to let herself get caught." Raken reached up and picked dyas from off his head and into his arms. "Light is good. Though I can't really move far away from the marsh until my shadow birds come back. Smart, but not smart enough to figure out where I went." The child rested her head against rakens chest, shivering lightly. She was so...confused.

Starry looked up, the star in her hand glowing brighter and getting larger at a slow pace. "Then it is light I shall create." She said, glad that the light was dim. Daylight hurt her skin so much, it was a wonder she had fallen in love with such a bright pae. "I doubt Amara would leave the isle in this kind of tension and worry. As for Seraphim, none of us know the extent of his madness. But I think you're right, he probably wouldn't have done anything this daring."

Junior looked at Dyas, he had never seen this young child. "This my cousin Grandma Raken?" he asked, taking the blanket he had tied around his waist before they left and placed it around Dyas. she looked cold. "Don't worry Dyas, we'll take care of everything." Junior said, trying to reassure her. She was Raken's daughter afterall, she would be fine.

"Oh no...Amara is probably loving the chaos created here. She just wouldn't like it centered on her. This type of thing could get her banned from the island." He looked at junior as he wrapped the blanket around dyas. "Cousin grandma raken...There are two big things wrong there, both being made by the grandma statement. She is my daughter." Dual colored eyes resting on Junior, she watched him carefully. The shivering slowly subsided. She just wanted the sky to start crying again, go back into her cave and have a sleepover with Azure.

The mixed angel was growing tired of slogging through the mud and wet...but he couldn't give up now. His son could be out here somewhere, hurt...or worse. And even if that poor victim wasn't any particular Pae'il he knew, it was still only right that he do all he could to bring the criminal to justice.

He paused momentarily, thinking he'd heard a voice on the wind answering his calls. "Hello?" he called back, thinking the voice didn't sound like Devyn now that he thought about it, but it didn't matter. Someone was out here it seemed and maybe they'd seen his son.

He turned towards the source of the voice and kept trekking. Before long, he came across a sort of bridge. He couldn't remember ever seeing it before, but he was glad someone had built it. It was difficult moving through the mud and it would be SO much easier to move on a solid surface again. Shaking off the worst of the mud the best he could, Saffron stepped onto the bridge and started making his way across. "Hello?" he called out again, hand to his mouth as he stopped to take a momentary rest. His eyes continued scanning the surroundings, ever watchful for any sign of his son or at least that his son (or any Pae'il) had been through here recently. If there was no luck, he'd be on his way again soon. The owner of that voice had to be around somewhere close.

Aoaka heard the voice calling back, responding with an echo of his own question.

"I hear you!" he answered, and picked up his pace as best he could in the muck, finding the bridge shortly after. He saw the Pae standing there, and raised his hand in greeting, though his worried expression didn't lift.

"Are you out here looking for clues as to what happened?" he asked, then paused, adding a bit sheepishly, "My name is Aoaka. It's nice to meet you, but I wish it had been under different circumstances."

He stepped onto the bridge, shaking each foot as he did so to rid it of the caked mud each was coated with. Mud was also streaked along his long black hair, as well as several bits of plant matter that had gotten caught as he fought his way through the undergrowth.

Any Pae'il that are looking in the area will find, on each side of the bridge, a location in the mud where it appears a struggle occured.

Saffron raised a muddied hand in greeting to the other Pae'il. "Yes, I am actually, though I'm also looking for my son," he added in a worried tone. "My name is Saffron. Could you tell me if you've seen a green demon Pae'il with deep purple hair around here recently? I'm starting to get rather worried about him..." he trailed off, something catching his eye.

Frowning, Saffron crossed to the edge of the bridge, peering carefully at the mud and muck. Deep furrows and odd marks made it plain to anyone that saw that some sort of struggle had taken place here. Without tearing his eyes away from the sight, he raised his voice to speak to Aoaka, his brain already turning swiftly. "I agree, I'm sorry we couldn't have met under better circumstances, but fate is a funny thing. I think we might have been led here for a reason, however." Glancing up at the other Pae'il, he pointed at the mud. "Do you see what I see?"

Without waiting for an answer, he focused in on the ground, following what could only be footprints leading away from the bridge. He had no idea whose they could be, but perhaps if he followed them, he would find out. Or at least find another clue. His eyes swept the ground, looking for anything suspicious as he stepped back into the muck to follow this new trail. He was careful not to disturb the existing footprints as he did so.

Aoaka thought for a moment, but before he could answer, Saffron's attention was drawn downward. The Naiad followed him to the side of the bridge, and scanned the ground.

His eyes looked over the churned up earth, noticing several spots where someone seemed to have fallen down, then gotten back up. Had there been a fight? There were more footprints than could be made by one Pae...

He frowned, thinking, then looked up to see Saffron leaving. Had he seen something? "Are you following a clue?" he asked out loud, and stepped down himself. "There must be a trail, since there isn't anyone else here... If we follow it, we might get another piece of the puzzle," he added.

The other Pae seemed to have taken the lead, which suited Aoaka just fine, but he kept his own eyes open, looking ahead and above as they carefully followed the trail that had been left. The dark skinned Naiad noticed several broken branches, and thought that maybe something could have gotten caught on them that would identify someone.
