Why does she hide her face?

"So you want to come in? Then we can chat to our hearts content. I don't think that father, oh what ever you wish to call him! I don't think he would mind at all. You could even spend the night, if that is alright with you and who ever watches over you. I can get a sleeping bag and I will sleep on the floor. Hey, we are brother and sister, right? We can share the same room, right?" Tie can't seem to keep his mouth shut over this. He is so exited about finding a sister that he thought was died, and as far as he knew a few moments ago, didn't even exist.

(As I said, he blocked out most of his past, started over with a clean slate, or as clean as he could make it.)

She nodded towards each of his questions, paying only half of her attention to what he said, until he came upon one perticular comment, who watched over her? Nobody, she learned to take care of herself these past four years, but she didn't feel like explaining her story just yet. She smiled softly, all his talk about sleepovers reminded her of when she was a kid, when she still had parents.

"Bleep! Yes." The tiny robot replies, its voice is neither male nor female in sound. It is very high pitched and sounds metallic.

"Ah, true. About that, he got mixed up and didn't do what I wanted. He does that occasionally, OK often. I haven't gotten all the bugs out of him yet." Tie actually blushes on this one, a little embarrassed to admit that one of his gizmos isn't working perfectly, and possibly having to explain how Bleep got the idea to follow her to begin with.

"Oh right! Sorry. Follow me, I think you would like it up at my place. It is the fifth floor up. We can take the elevator up."Tie starts to walk to the entrance of the building, expecting her to follow. He purposely let her question unanswered, not wanting to explain in to her if he could get away with it.

Bleep simply follows behind Tie, and he will untill Tie tells him to do anything different.

"Bleep, why don't you just go through the window like how you got out? Oh and don't forget to close the window. Father isn't paying to heat the outside, or at least that is what he would say."

"Bleep" Then the robot hovers around the building, out of sight.

"Well, here we are, my repair shop. Follow me! I never had anyone sleep over before, never had any friends, except for Bleep there." Tie grabs the door handle and opens the door. When the door opens you see a small desk in front of the place, with a few items on some shelves. Next to the desk are some stairs, they are open to all people, seen as the building houses residence and the one shop. An elevator door sits behind the desk, the doors are wide open and a heavy set (muscle heavy) man sits in the open elevator door.

"So there you are Teladen. Did you find Bleep? And you didn't break the chair, so don't worry. I think that is about all you haven't broken today, seen as you just broke the speed record. Oh? Who is that? Well there is plenty of food upstairs. Invite your girlfriend in if you want." You see the man shake his head, "when were you going to tell me you had a girlfriend? you have been living with me for what? A year now? Can't trust me with that?" The man smiles a sly smile at the comment.

"Well, if you knew me so well, why don't you call me Tie? Why do you insist upon using my real name?" Suddenly Tie's eyes shot open. "Wait! She isn't my girlfriend! What? Hu! But!"

(It must be fun to just watch him with his half sentences and other comments.)

"Him? Oh no. He has been a real help, when he doesn't break stuff or yells. So far he has broken a remote, a few TVs and breakfast this morning." The man says. (He needs a name, if he lives on in the story that is.)

"Hey! Breakfast was an accident. That was Bleeps doing. I didn't tell him to run into the frying pan and knock it to the ground." Tie defends himself.

"Come on in miss, Alianne was it? What a pretty name. How do you know Teladen anyway? It seems like you have know him for a while." The man moves out of the way, giving plenty of room for Tie and his sister to walk onto the elevator.

Tie moves in behind the man and frumps against the wall, looking offended and maybe embarrassed at the way his 'father' just mentioned him and his 'antics'.

"I didn't make it out of the house. I hide under the couch. I was very small for my age back then. I saw as our parents where killed, and I thought I heard you die as well. I thought I had left all this behind too." Tie looks like he is about to cry, as the memories of that night come flooding back again.

(He still has memory issues. It will be like meeting you all over again. You may go.... 'blah blah, ya, we did that as kids, don't you remember?' and Tie would go.... 'uuummmmm, sure I do', even though he really doesn't.)
