As much as I like Desmond,
I would've MUCH preferred he take Charlie's place.
No matter the consequences,
whether they get off the island or not,
even if they all end up dying anyways.
I'm pretty sure we'll all agree that it's unlikely Desmond's gonna meet up with Penny, right?
Charlie's girl was RIGHT THERE on the island with him.
Ughhh.
Being a rabid Charlie fan makes me pretty-much lose interest in any of the other characters ... and now that he's gone, I'll be forced to pick someone else to focus on until I get a lovely flashback with Charlie again.

Got Scots has Scots, so even if she does have a life (I hope not, poor people with lives) that fact can be easily made up for by her Scots.
