They are still good songs that fit with the game well. Most of them seem odd but when you think of the game and it's music they fit perfectly.

Most horrors have dimmed music to add to the sheer horror factor.

i think its really stupid how horror films have those soundtracks, cuz if your being stalked by some crazed murderer, your not going to hear a whole goddamn orchestra! and anyway if find i scarier when there is no music.... its so quiet!

Its okay and also I find that the music makes it scarier. If there was no music I probably wouldn't be scared.

Music in the games is to add a more fearful sense to it. Since the music of an orchestra can sound pretty damn creepy at times especially if used properly.
