. . I'm a part of WBA, and we had 292 people this year... we still have about 300 people this year, tho. 52 clarinetists! =o My section is bigger than some of your bands. xD
Saying that, we're 5A. I'm curious what 5A is in BOA, tho. We're the biggest in WBA, but I know Arcadia has like 400 people, and they don't compete in WBA... x.x s n o w

....holy crap. 400?!?!? That's insane! It's hard enough to control 196 people!
Ah, BOA-highest (I think) is 3A, determined by school size. ...wait, your school isplanning to compete in BOA? ...O_O"

. . Aye, Arcadia has 400 people. xD But they're mainly parade, or so my BD tells me.
We're not planning in competing in BOA, but I just wanted to know. xD Our school has... 4000 - 4500 students. xP s n o w

I hate it when people think that your division means your skill... its by size. we're a C division usually but theres one comp where we're in D for parade.

my band's double a. we've got about 160 people marching. i think it's lame that they do it by school population and not band, too.

My School's AA
Which, in Ohio, at least, I think, is about the highest.
We have about 170 band members (well, prolly a lot less next year, but, oh well) and we have 2200-2500 students total.
We compete against sine 200+ bands, and I'd heard rumors of 300+ bands that might've been in the OMEA. Before reading this page, howeevr, I'd never heard of a 400 high school band... that's just crazy. 300+ is crazy. I'd really like to see a picture of that band on the field x_x
and to know how big their pit is. ^_^

At my school the band's divison has nothing to so with the schools. The school is 5A and the band is divison 3. In A.B.O.D.A. the seperate the divisons by size of the band

I don't know what division our band is. sweatdrop But we come from a really small town in Northwest washington and have 175 members. we're quite a bit larger than any of the other schools in our area. We're also really good.

oh I can't think of the school...I think its Millersville that can go around a football field twice. They are huge!
Anyway, my band is in the USSBA, group 4 open. Im pretty sure we are 4. One of the larger ones at the least

We're a AA, which is the largest in OMEA contests.
No clue what that translates to on the 1A, 2A, etc system.
We have approx. 170 members, which is a pretty good size.

My freshman year, we were a 4A band, but our numbers jumped up the next year and now we're a 5A.
