Well, what I've always wondered is what if I'm just making everything up, and my life is just a bizzare painting that controls my memory. Or even worse, what if it's not me that the painting is about, but I'm just another stroke of the brush. Kind of dumb, I know...

Lord of the Azure Sky We are real; we touch, taste, smell, hear, see. Sure, that's all crap interpretted by our brains but our brains doing the interpretting is real. Even if it's a matrix kind of thing, and our reality isn't real, we still have to have physical bodies to exist. We don't actually need physical bodies to exist. Because think of it that we are actually in a matrix type world where we have some type of computer feeding us all this information... how do we know that the bodies we have are not all artificial and made up by whoever created these computers that control us?

Hmmmm, wow, that just added on list of things we can't really prove or comprehend
1. Infinity 2. Universe size 3. Our mind and our freewill 4. Now this: Our existence
But if you think it this way, because you guys are talking about your own existence, how on earth can I imagine that we are imagination after hearing someone doubting or talking about one's existence. Emotion, action, randomness, fate, being in other's shoe, irony and all those things that I doubt ANY computer is able to make, if this were to be Matrix. By saying that, I put Matrix at danger of being expose prematurly (before we are "unhook") so therefore I would not be typing by now. At same time, if we pretend we don't exist, yet we still continue to exist, we probably proven to ourselve that we exist. Plus if this were to be a dream, a dream where you can feel, then what happen after I die? Do I wake up in another dream world? If that is true, it is actually more of form of reincarnation, so basically we didn't wake up, but ended up in different body in different form. If I say you don't exist, you wouldn't have existed. at same time when someone is doing something totally against what they usually do, why do they still continue to exist? They are not how your mind command, unless of course we actually do exist. Also many of you ask about why you probably haven't suffered from what others suffer from, like disease. I am hearing impair, yet I know that I exist, because I become one of those sufferers, and by saying that, that goes aginst YOUR mind (if you happen to be 100% good health) so that PROBABLY prove that I exist, and so do others. Randomness also contribute to fact that we exist, because it is not how computer program (matrix case) and we shouldn't be caught by surprise (dream case) yet it happen, so therefore it PROBABLY prove that we exist. I might be right, I might be wrong, but even I say that it is probably impossible to prove our existence (ignore this if my discussion assured your existence 3nodding )

Haha, I have always wondered that, and I asked my teacher once and they just gave me the weirdest look. I was like, "How do we know this is reality, how do we know this is real?" And they couldn't answer me. So I have always wondered since.
So we don't know. We can't know. I mean what if someone told you everything that was going on was fake, and this wasn't real, what would you do, what COULD you do?!?!

There is no way, but don't trouble yourself with it, you will get nowhere.
