::it snickered again and this time stopped about ten feet down the path from him. It was roughly the size of a large cat, and covered with thick black fur. It stood on all fours, the hair long enough to curl under its stomach, it seemed to be grinning with three rows of sharp teeth and odd yellow green eyes. Each foot had four 2inch long claws. It stared at him, unblinking, snickering::

::Upon seeing the beast again, Kurai dashes at it, his sword held so low that it tore through the ground. Bringing his sword up, Kurai preforms an enormous uppercut-like slash at the creature, throwing grass and dirt into the air. Then he leaps back into a defensive pose, and waits for the dust to settle.::

::as the dust settled you could hear the creature laughing from is perch upon the blade of Kurai's sword. It seemed to be balancing on the edge using something akin to chakra. It grinned at him with its many rows of teeth and opened it's mouth, a large red ball of energy expelling from its maw right at kurai::

::Seeing the creature's attack, Kurai drops to the ground, throwing his sword blade-first into a nearby tree. Then, rolling up to a standing position, he removes and throws two kunais at the creature.::

::The creature clung to the blade as it was thrown and slammed into the tree a little dazed. The two kunai buried into its fur and pinned it to the tree, screaming in pain::

Throws the kunai at the creature's head.::

::the screaming of the creature ended and it hung on the tree, held up by the kunais. After a moment, the creature faded into smoke, leaving nothing but a scortch mark on the tree::
Bravo ::buki's voice could be heard from the air:: Continue.
::after that Buki quickly made a check of the classroom to see one person sitting in the back seat. She blinked and looked at him:: You're a bit late. Hm, and a bit wet behind the ears it seems

::buki gave a cat like grin:: First, you've been sent to because for some reason someone saw potential in you, its my job to find it. My teaching methods are not soft, nor are they necissarily kind.
::she motioned to a door that opened to the side of the room, allowing them to see a jungle like training course, with thick woods, walls of varying material jutting above the tree line in certain places::
One student is already on his way, trying to find the end to my playground. You two get to try to find him, and make it through. this will test your basic techinques that you should already have been able to pick up. It also builds team work that will allow you to survive when you enter the real world

::Motoko smiles back at the teacher with her own devious grin. Then she glances over at her fellow class mate:: "I will be ready to take whatever you can throw at me sensei, I am not the kind of person to be intimidated by others."
"Bye the way,"she said as she looked at the other student,"My name is Motoko. What's yours?"
::And she began to smile warmly at her new partner::
