Also, two of the greatest bassists ever, Victor Wooten of Bela Fleck and the Flecktones and Les Claypool (that's right, Les ********' Claypool), are going to be playing at the Bonnaroo Music Festival this year! I'm getting to that show if it kills me.

WHAT?!? How in the hell is Audioslave unworthy of being acknowledged as a band?


I find it impossible to have 2 such awesome bands unite and make a band so mediocre. The instrumentals are dumbed down so much from what Rage used to be, it almost makes me sick. I guess they're depending on Cornell to carry them through, which would have worked if they were Soundgarden, but their styles don't mesh with me at all.

I dont know, while Audioslave is nothing as to what RATM was I think the guitaring at least has improved, but yea other then that it isnt all that great though I never listened to any Soundgarden to begin with.

Steve Harris(Iron maiden)
Geezer butler(Black sabbath)
Cliff burton (Metallica
John paul jones (Led zeppelin)
Geddy Lee (rush)
Steve DiGiorgio (sadus and alot of other bands)
flea(Red hot chili peppers)
Dave ellefson( when he was in megadeth)
Timi hanson (meryful fate)
mike lePond (Symphony X)
Jon myung (dream theater)
Marcus miller
and last and least less clapool (primus)

many many more.

I like them all a great bit and it was really hard for me to put them in order(exept for claypool)

They may be a bit more mellow than rage but they definitely aren't any less talented. Have you heard the "Doesn't Remind Me" solo? It kicks more a** than Chuck Norris.

Ryan From Mudvayne and Flea from R.H.C.P. are def. my 2 fav. bassist. They both have such a great style and have a great stage presance.
