this_person ana3 pagan just deal with the gods and wiccan does everything. there is a saying: a pagan can be a wiccan but a wiccan can never be a pagan. biggrin I thought it was the other way around.. "All wiccans are pagan, but not all pagans are wiccan." Pagan is a blanket term. Like heretic. A 'pagan' religion is (basically) one that doesn't relate to the Judeo-Christian-Muslim worldview. Wicca is a form of paganism. Buddhism, in some sects, does worship Buddha as to them he ascended after death to a deity. My friend has an aunt who is a practitioner of that sect. Some sort of monk or priestess or something. "All squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares."

has anyone read SWEEP the book series it about wicca and someother things. I like the books i have gotten thur to the third going on the fourth here soon.

i like to consider myself as a wiccan, i've been studying it for 2 years but i haven't really pulled off that many spells.

tinker7185 has anyone read SWEEP the book series it about wicca and someother things. I like the books i have gotten thur to the third going on the fourth here soon. I haven't heard of it....My sister has a really good wicca book which she got mad when she found it in my room 2yrs ago sweatdrop xp

*sigh*... my story? ummm... roman catholic till 7th grade... (i was in a catholic school btw)i discovered that there were "other" religions...
so, i decided to go wiccan... although i wasn't quite so sure about the gods.goddesses thing...i mean, after taking some REAL scince classes, i found that things didn't fit the Bible, so i was unsure... i did manage a few spells... (my mom keeps A LOT of herbs so it was easy...)... it was fun for a while... most of my spells came true, but it was only cause i focused really hard...
a few years ago i quit because i didn't believe in gods/goddesses/etc.
I realized, for myself, that all i was doing was basically wishing hard... putting my mind to it...
I still meditate and TRY to use pschokinesis... i like fire... its the easiest for me... i don't know why though... everyone says it sthe hardest....
*sigh* but all i am now is a depressed atheist...sometimes... but its ok...
i almost went satnic... but i was like "oh, yeah, i don't believe that" yeah...
ps... i don't like this place... i live in the Bible belt and people are scaring me... if ne1 knew i was atheist, they would say "ur going to hell"
this is what i say: "umm, no, i will rot in the ground and become the earth, and become someting else and so on... if im wrong... then o well, To Hell and back Again, by me...

Wicca is pretty neat, its kind like following the Greek and Roman Gods/Goddesses... i was quite the same way with wicca, and i never go to church... considering that im atheist... just try out a bunch of religions and see which one you like... if you happen to rely on science a lot and don't believe in gods, etc... you can consider yourself atheist... 3nodding
