I dont quote the Bible. I feel more life lessons are learned from LIFE than a book. I do admit that the bible holds alot of lessons, its a great book, one of the best, I've read it multiple times. But life should be learned by living it. Sure, Jesus and all those guys are great role models, dont get me wrong, and they teach great things, but life is life.

I have my spirit guide. Its one that most people can only dream of, but I cant tell you its name. That offends the spirit.

I still don't believe I am one with a gift, I guess because I have nothing im good at,
everything I want to do fails, I wish to be an animator/Cartoonist.......and well my drawings look like s**t. It is hard to believe I am even any use when I have nothing im am good at, and in the in isn't belife in one self the thing that unlock your gift? (i have none for myself......I believe I am useless....I also believe...no I want to be one of thoses few chosen to wield such a divine skill. (like Iron_Felix)...but i guess i am nothing but a useless toy of the after life......a puppet if you may put it......just another puppet)

You may not know your gift now, but it will reveal itself to you. I was not born with what I can do, it was bestowed upon me in November of '04 by a not so divine being. Up untill that point, I wasnt good at anything either. But let me put it this way, I wish that that gift had not been given to me. Everyday I wish that that day had never happened. Just pray that your gift is one that wont torture you.

So I guess you have great hopes in finding true love. To me, that counts as faith. You bet. I have strong faith in love. Thank you for noticing! smile It's faith, a curse, and a gift all in one. 3nodding

Iron_Felix Well, I guess thats better than the curse I have. Faith and gifts are out. Now, now, "don't look at a gift horse on the mouth". One day, your strength will help someone meaningful, maybe not meaningful for you (let's be a bit pragmatic, here) but for someone else, and you can be sure it'll be important for them. Best wishes.

Oh trust me, I've used my curses to save people before, I actually have a couple of friends that owe me there lives. Such as my 5th girlfriend/ ex (we broke up, but we remain good friends) I wont tell that story here, because most of it involves alot of violence, and illegal activities. No joke. My curses allow me to not care what happens to me, and that gives me an edge that no one can understand.

Like the phrase in my siggy. 'Suicidal, I never plan on coming back.' thats my philosophy. If I dont expect to come back, if I expect to die at any moment, then I ahve an edge that no one can stop.

When people think of gifts, they tend to think of unusual talents. Mine tends to be my eye for art, but I'd greatly prefer a gift of the heart like many of you seem to have. There have been plenty of times when I've held complete strangers as they cried, or supported someone who broke my heart or just tried to be as loving as possible... but I still don't think I have any special gift. It sure would be nice to be the most patient person of all time, no?
.... that sounds selfish of me, actually... to want to have a gift like that just so people would see me as a good person...
But I shouldn't lose hope. I do believe in gifts but I also believe we need to use them if they're going to grow or be perfected. I still have plenty of time to grow my gift, whatever it is.

A gift can come whenever it wants. Give it time, just because you dont know what it is now, doesnt meat it doesnt exist.

Aar000n3yTheL000n3y lol Right. You go think that. But you don't get gifts from god. You devolope your own gifts. Some higher being doesn't just throw you the ability to do something. I made mine, you all make yours, the end. ok, i find ur opinion offending. i'm a big fan and believer in God and while i understand that u have the right to ur opinion i believe that all gifts come from God and that He gave us our gifts for a reason. For example, i have the gifts of art and writing. i believe that God gave me these gifts as a tool for ministry. yes, i can develop my gifts...in that sense ur right...but i also believe that it is God that gave me my skills to begin with.

Iron_Felix Your partly right. All gifts are given by higher powers, but its your onw want or your own hate for those gifts that give them to you. If you want it enough, you'll get it. If you hate and despise it enough, they will curse you with it, like they did me. i disagree. read the story of Joseph in the book of Genesis in the Bible. God gave him the gift of interpreting dreams and because of his hardships (being sold into slavery by his own brothers, being accuse falsely of sleeping with his master's wife, being thrown into jail when he was innocent) he cursed his gift. it wasn't until a famine hit the land that Joseph was able to interpret Pharoh's dream (at the time he was in Egypt) and thus save the people, that he began to understand God's purpose in giving him the dreams.
