As I am reading this, I am wondering if as part of the rules, there needs to be a constant conversation, of if simply random sentences are acceptable as long as they end in a period - as this one is about to.

If you've read it carefully, I've said that you can post random statements... conversation with single statements however, is far more engaging. 3nodding
