PatrioticPikachu Chieira, I know fillers ruing animes. I know about Inuaysha, I hate it now because of the fillers. To me the only anime that I loved to the end was Yu Yu Hakusho because... even thought I didn't read the manga, it ended... It wasn't stretched until everyone hates it, it's over and done. That what needs to happen to the fillers. I know that. But I find it easier to stop caring and just watch it or not since I can't do anything by posting my anger on Gaia or throwing my toys around my room. (Which I find very funny. xD) Complaining to the filler creators might be a better idea. Saves the frusstration os others and yourself. Hell, write to Kishimoto, tell him to stop letting the butcher his anime. 3nodding Yu Yu Hakusho was my very first anime, and it is still one of my favorites. For many reasons, though the one you mentioned is a good point. I remain a huge Kurama fangirl. I still say that there's nothing wrong with ranting about our anger over the fillers here, though. That's kind of the whole topic of this thread ^^; So, I mean, while there's nothing wrong with you guys liking the fillers, if you don't want to hear people ranting about them... just don't come to this thread, since anger over fillers is, again, kinda the topic here. I think that's why the "don't like, don't watch" thing was annoying. Yes, we could write to whoever produces them or whatever, but that wouldn't do much good, to be honest. Besides the fact that it's nice to talk to others who are just as frustrated as I am. PatrioticPikachu Because regardless, fillers are used to let the manga get a head of the anime, yadda yadda yadda, blah blah blah, and still give insight on the characters. Regardless if you think it's fake or not if you watch you will see that the characters are still IN character. Take the whole Hinata getting a new technique. They show just how much she wants to prove herself. We all know that's what she wants to do. They don't go around making her a b***h and then faling in love with Kiba randomly. THEN I'd cause a riot... seriously. >_<
Besides, we all know that Kishimoto wouldn't let the fillers continue if he didn't APPROVE of them. They can't do that. If he didn't mind the fillers then he'd just stop producing fillers until he was ready to continue with the actual plot. But still, it was nice talking to you guys until it started getting to... annoying. Later, see you in a different topic. Well, I'll use the fanfiction analogy again, for the 'insight' thing. Yes, they may keep the characters 'in-character', but it is still not giving any real insight. A fanfiction could have every character perfectly in-character (I've read some excellent ones that do), but that does not make it canon. Again, Kishimoto is not writing it, so it isn't canon. He created these characters. Besides the fact that whether or not the fillers are actually keeping everyone in-character is really open to interpretation. I don't watch many of them, but I have friends who say that they think Naruto is being portrayed horribly. Something about making him look like more of an idiot than he actually is ^^; I'm not sure, as I haven't seen the episodes in question. As for Kishimoto not letting the fillers continue if he didn't approve of them... well. Allowing anyone to take enough control over your series to make it into an anime would involve giving up a certain amount of control, I imagine. I can't claim to know how all of these things work, but I know that sometimes when something becomes popularized, the original creator loses a lot of control in the process. For example, I heard that Anne Rice really hated the way the movie Queen of the Damned turned out (I know I did, as a rabid fan of the book). And even if that's not the reason, as much as I'd hate to think this of Kishimoto, it's possible that he just doesn't want to lose any money. Even if he dislikes the fillers, pausing the anime long enough for the manga to get far enough ahead might cause him to lose money and fans. As much as I'd hate it, it's understandable if he doesn't want to risk that. There are really many reasons why he could allow the fillers to continue even if he doesn't necessarily approve of them, so it's really impossible for us to say whether he does or doesn't.

PatrioticPikachu LoveObject, I don't want to SOUND rude but the only one being rude here is you. You constantly condradict yourself. You've stated that this is a thread where you talk, rant, or whatever else, yet you are constantly attacking someone else. As I stated before: I am not rude, nor was I, nor am I. You are rude for agreeing with the 'don't like, don't watch' deal, then trying to argue when it wasn't even your argument. It was rude, as Chi-san said: Chieira I still say that there's nothing wrong with ranting about our anger over the fillers here, though. That's kind of the whole topic of this thread ^^; So, I mean, while there's nothing wrong with you guys liking the fillers, if you don't want to hear people ranting about them... just don't come to this thread, since anger over fillers is, again, kinda the topic here. x_LoveObject_x Oh o.o QotD. heart Though I prefer Blood and Gold and Vampire Armand. heart @__@ I adore Armand; he's always been my favorite character. I loved him in The Vampire Lestat, and his (admittedly small) part in Queen of the Damned (the book, not the movie, though the only redeeming factor of the movie was that they actually got a better character to represent him; the one who was supposedly him in the movie for Interview With a Vampire was SO far off from what his character was supposed to look like that it was sad). As for The Vampire Armand, I got about halfway through it when my cousin stole the book x.x; I haven't seen it since.

They have cheap little copies now, you should go look for it XD My sister threw the book at me across the room because of the downward spiral at the end of Armand's life with Marius though crying She refused to read it anymore. Marius is my fav heart I adore the kind master type, yet cross him, and you'll only wish you were dead!

It was a nice voice for Lestat.

He wasn't as attractive as he should have been, but at least Armand was blonde and looked young x.x;; The one in Interview With a Vampire was tall, had long black hair, and looked to be in his thirties. I hated that he didn't look like Armand wasll enough, though. If he had been younger, it would have been better. Armand has that auburn reddish-brunette hair, and it waves/curles.

Plus Lestat turning Daniel at the end... crying nooo, so wrong. The Armand in Queen of the Damned at least looked to be around the 16 or so years old he's supposed to appear to be, and the hair color was closer. x.x; I just couldn't deal with the straight black hair for Armand, it made me sad.

And at least he looked so very close to what I saw him as, AND dyed his hair blond unlike that a*****e Stuart Townsend who was apparently too good to dye his hair ******** BLONDE which every Ann Rice fan knows Lestat prides himself on.

Urg, I thought he was terrible. Maybe just because I don't like Tom Cruise? Because I thought Brad Pitt did fine, and I don't even really like Louis. I won't even go into Stuart Townsend. I swear they just picked him because he's pretty. Though, I have to admit, the scene with him and Akasha in the pool of blood? Drool-worthy.

If that happens I'm leaving the fandom for some short, simple, cute, NONFILLER, anime that has a small fandom. I swear, if I see one more filler episode I will literally s**t a chicken. An entire chicken. (I kid you not. D:< )
@ Peeps who are talking about IWTV: omgbraddpittandtomcruisandantoniobandarasasgayvampires -Swoons- I friggin love that movie. And even tough its nothing like that book hardly at all, I still love it. I love the book too. Its like Memoirs of a Geisha. Two completely different storied, but both are really good. @w@ Did you know that they are making a Lestat Musical? Jhonn Lennon is writing the music for it. I cant see Armand singing... I just cant... -Doesnt know how to feel about this-
