definitely water. I was always attracted to water out of all the 4 elements...After waterbending would be firebending, just because it's awesome, and the opposite of water...then airbending, since it's just so convenient, you could do it whenever (not like water, where you have to be near water), and lastly earthbending.

I would love to Gravitybend.
Out of the Four Major Elements, I would choose Fire, Earth, Air and Water tied for third.
If you planned to wipe out humankind, Earth Kingdom can take away the land from under your feet. Or they could push you up into the air until you can't breath anymore. I don't get why the Earthbenders didn't think of that. Water Tribes can kill all of humankind within THREE DAYS! But Air has a faster result - take all oxygen away, and there won't be enough oxygen in carbon dioxide to last everyone.
But I would always choose Gravity first. The Four Minor Elements I chose are Gravity, Shadow, Storm, and Light. Light was supposed to Electricity, but that just sounds lame...
So my new order of the eight:
Gravity, Fire, Shadow, Storm, Earth, Air, Water, Light.

Lightning would be useful if I could re charge batteries with the electricity even if I have little to no use for fire which would be the main element. I don't like water, healing would be good but I like water less than a cat. I never really like the wind either so air checks out. Earth sounds good. Yes, either lightning (fire) or earth.

I'd love to earthbend for the following reasons.
1. If theirs terrain blocking your way, you can just pull the ground apart.
2. You could make makeshift stairs to climb on top of things. (I prefer peoples houses.)
3. You can make people sink into the ground.
4. If you break like a ceramic vase or something by accident you can bend the minerals and clay inside it to fix it.
5. In truth you could actually fly with earthbending if you sat on top of a rock and made it levitate.
6. With years of practice (or maybe blindness is a requirment) you could bend metal.
7. As shown with Toph you could move the ground under your feet at top speed to run ultra-uber fast.
8. Any home would be a Mobile Home! biggrin

Water or fire all the way! BEGONE WITH THE REST! XD I'm not saying that I'm a Zutara fan, or whatever it's called, since I dont support any shippings, but I just like fire and water.... despite the fact that I've burnt my arm up to my elbow while trying to do a firebending* trick. And just to let you know, I believe the Avatar creaters, I dont mean to be insulting, went over the edge with Zuko's scar. You cant even tell that I burnt my arm.
*= it wasnt really firebending. I put a gallon of hair spray on my fingers and lit it. When the hairspray was all used up, the fire ended up reaching to my elbow. sweatdrop I did that a year and two weeks ago, I think. I remember it being cold out.... and then staying at my boyfriend's house for a while and then my parents didnt find out about my arm for a week.

O-o When my parents found out, they took me to the doctor and I had to put medicated lotion on it. It stung... anyways, does that sound like a severe burn? I think so. But oh well.
