Glissa pushed open the heavy wooden doors, which creaked as she did so, and headed toward the nearest table. She turned around and waited for Kirai to catch up. As she watched him walk toward her, she couldn't help but notice his muscles flexing slightly under his clothes. It made her head go all light again, and yet again an angry voice in the back of her head started screaming 'MORTAL ENEMY, MORTAL ENEMY, KILL KILL KILL!!!!!'

Kirai followed after Glissa quietly, rubbing his eyes slightly, adjusting to the artificial light in comparison to the natural light. He took a seat across from her at the table after the doors closed, sighing.
"God, i've been here for a while and i still don't know how to get to the dining hall.."
Kirai sweatdropped, embarrassed.

"Don't worry about it too much." Glissa sat down and snapped her fingers.
"Tenshi is a huge castle, and I'm still finding new nooks and hidden places after a couple of centuries." A very flustered looking anthros in an apron ran up to Glissa, now slightly out of breath after jogging the length of the hall.
"How may I help you, headmistress."
"I'll have my usual, Bruce."
"Right away headmistress. And for you sir?" Bruce now turned his red eyes on Kirai, a slight sneer crossing his muzzle.

Kirai wouldnt have that. Not at all. He returned the simple sneer with a death glare accompanied by a raised eyebrow.
"I'll have the same..."
Kirai raised his hand quietly, placing his elbow on the table. He balled his fist up, and placed hand chin on it slightly while crackinghis thumb in a slightly terrorizing way.

Bruce let out a 'humph' and turned up his nose.
"Very well sir. Your meals will be out soon." Bruce leaned down and whispered into Glissa's ear in his raccoon language before scurry back to the kitchen. After Bruce disappeared, a small raccoon girl appeared carrying a golden pitcher and two glasses in her hands. She set the glasses down and filled them half way with a dark red wine, then promptly returned to the kitchen without a word.
"I take it you don't like anthros then?" Glissa asked quizzically.

"No, that's not even close. I just don't like people pulling a first impression from appearance..Or giving me looks because they don't like me. I'll have no s**t from people i don't even know.."
Kirai spoke quietly, Taking the glass to hand to sip from it.

"Ah, I see... But unfortunately the world doesn't operate on those noble standards. Just don't worry bout Bruce. He's just a snooty old fool." Glissa took a sip of wine as well. The tiny girl returned carrying two gold plates full of very rare fillet mignon and set them down.
"I thought you wanted a burger..." Glissa smirked.

"I thought YOU wanted a burger...."
Kirai raised an eyebrow slightly.
"Oh well. I'll settle for this, it's healthier for me anyway... I need to watch my intake."
Kirai's scroll popped out questioningly, prodding the steak in hopes of chopping it up.
"Eh?...Go ahead. Have fun..."
Kirai's scroll quickly made work of the steak, sliding acros the surface and clipping it into neat bits before slipping back into his shirt.
"Heh..Sometimes he can't help himself.."

Glissa paused, a fork full of fillet half way to her mouth, to watch Kirai's scroll chop up his food. A scowl crossed her brow.
"I don't like that thing..." She mumbled, before popping her fork in her mouth and munching away.

Kirai proceeded to pick up a fork to pierce a piece of wet, juicy meat and place it in his mouth quietly.

"I'll give ya that, but I still don't like it. It tried to kill me too many times..." Glissa stabbed a large piece and popped it in her mouth. She was caring less about her manners now. Her demon like hunger was getting the best of her yet again. She chewed on the tender meat, followed my a hearty gulp of wine and a long 'Mmmmm'.

Kirai, a beast entirely, would'nt've bothered with cutting the steak would he not've been in the presence of a woman. But he was, and as thus simply speared multiple pieces at a time, and ate them. he dried off his lips, then took a drink of wine.

"Betray... you???" Glissa managed to say between chews. She swallowed hard.
"I didn't know we weren't mortal enemies any more." She had finished her fillet, and was now draining the last of her wine.
