The costume designer should be shot. Why does little John wear and 80s glamrock jacket? Why? Why? Just why?

I dunno, I could say the same about Guy of Gisbourne's jacket, but last night I really didn't care cos I LOVED episode 5! I loved it loved it loved it!
In fact I loved it so much I don't really have anything much to say about it. Except that I think the new (female) addition to the Outlaws is gonna be great (and I was worried what sort of person the first female addition would be) and I thought they got the humour and the politics just right! YAY! More like this!
And yes, I know, he could never have taken down all those guards by hitting them with his flimsy little bow. But I don't care! xp

My one quarrel with this episode:
He was a SOLDIER in the war, not superman! 1 soldier can't beat about 9 soldiers it just isn't possible.
Oh, and wasn't it a bit obvious she was a girl?
But the episode rules.
What's with the glamrock though?

Crumpet Lord He was a SOLDIER in the war, not superman! 1 soldier can't beat about 9 soldiers it just isn't possible. See, I've given up caring about that... just think of it as a fantasy series and you'll be fine. Crumpet Lord Oh, and wasn't it a bit obvious she was a girl? Tell me about it! I didn't even realise she was in disguise until one of them said 'Oh, she's a girl!'. Crumpet Lord What's with the glamrock though? confused Insane costume designers perhaps? It kinda reminds me of the costumes in A Knight's Tale.

It is definitely gonna be shown across your side of the duck pond. I think this is the American site for RH: http://www.robin-hood.tv/Least it says BBC America at the bottom. I believe that it's because it has to be shown in America that they've made so many little 'adjustments' to reality in the show, especially in regards to clothes and speech. Though I'll be fascinated to hear how the heavy Yorkshire accents of a lot of the characters go down over there. Yorkshire rules!

Just watched that video - SO good! Hilarious in fact. And I used to have a lego Robin Hood set. I shall have to go dig it out when I go home for Christmas.

Roobarb Though I'll be fascinated to hear how the heavy Yorkshire accents of a lot of the characters go down over there. You should play Fable. Everyone in that game has Yorkshire accents. Except for a few Scottish bandits, a few American-sounding people, and...err...those two people with Jamaican accents. I can't remember their names. It's great.

Crumpet Lord Damned Xbox-which-i-don't-own getting all the good games. Fable, KOTOR, KOTOR II... Well, I got a 360. It's good but now I have no more money to buy, well, anything. So I borrowed Fable off a friend. And also annoying is the fact that the Xbox Guide is based off Windows XP!!! scream It keeps crashing... crying Anyway, talking of games, I finished writing a copy of Robin Hood: Legend of Sherwood for Mac. Yaaay.

Just been mooching around YouTube gathering up Robin Hood videos. I'm sure that a lot more (of the older series') have popped up since the BBC series got into full swing. First off here's a few delightful songs from Maid Marian and Her Merry Men: (told you it was all about mud) The Mud Song(I forgot how much I loved that CBBC presenter guy! I think his name's Andi Peters. He's so embaressingly enthusiastic. He cried live on TV when he left...) Rabies Love Song(what wonderful lyrics - and for those who don't know, the character is called Rabies) The Pancake SongMaid Marian OuttakesAnd then a horrifyingly bad version of Robin Hood that I had forgotten all about - which is surprising seeing as I watched almost every episode. I guess it's cos it reminded me of Monkey... only with even worse acting: (called The New Adventures Of Robin Hood and - though I can't be sure - I'm guessing it used to be on Channel 5... only on 5 kids...) The New Adventures Of Robin Hood TitlesA Short Clip *shudder*A Slightly Longer ClipAnd people dare to complain about the BBC version? Come on! It's high class compared to Hercules in Tights. EDIT: I've just noticed that several versions of Robin Hood are missing from that Wikipedia list... I know I deleted some of the more frivolous (where Robin's in some other program/movie for like 30 seconds...) but where is The New Adventures Of Robin Hood? And Crumpet Lord was right, they missed out Help I'm A Teenage Outlaw! - which I am assuming was a Hood one too though I didn't see it.
