Actually, I was a huge Yuffentine even before DoC. I could probably change and add to my Yuffentine essay now that I have played it, but it helps. I wouldn't buy it if you're a great gamer. You ANY good at a game, you can beat it no problem. Beating it 100% is tough, but you probably won't want to. Really boring game, some bad voice acting at times, but really good story. Though, some of the death scenes aren't as tramautic as the controversy started by Lady Aerith's death. *sigh* Monkey...

So...is it easier or harder than the .Hack games?
.HACK RULES!!!! Sorry...random outburts since I just watched the entirety of .hack//Sign and am playing through the original games now.

I've watched all the episodes of .Hack//Sign twice, along with Legend of the Twilight Bracelet. I've also read the three volume manga series that the Legend of the Twilight was based off of and I think that was much better. At least I don't get the feeling Shugo is in love with his twin sister Rena.

In addition to that, I've read all the novels and beaten the first two games. I'm a major fan of the series.

I've played .Hack, and trust me, this game will make .Hack look like the best game ever.
I hated the gameplay. It was so simple, man. Just point, shoot, run the f*ck away! That's it, and you can beat it with guns until you fight Azul pt. 3. When he's a beast, you HAVE to use Materia. No other thing works, so you need to buy ethers a lot, man. Sucks that they make materia a necessaty rather than a bonus.

That's basically why I hate the game, man. Sucks a lot... Good storyline, bad gameplay

Okay. So this whole game is a heck of a lot easier than fighting Cubia in .Hack//Mutation.

I tell you what, it took me a little bit before I realized that when the Cubia core was green you had to use magic. I just wasn't paying much attention though.

Cubia was a much better boss than Innis from .Hack//Mutation though. I beat Innis so easily I found it hard to believe that he was the final boss. The next day I told everyone I accidentaly defeated the game. I didn't mean for it to be beaten so quickly...I only just got it on my birthday (Dec 7th)....

Mutation is a joke compared to even Infection. Those bosses were kinda hard. The ones in Mutation are just...pathetic. I havent got to the final boss in it yet though, so only the regular bosses are pathetic right now...

They stay pathetic, trust me. Once you get the trick with Cubia, he's a piece of cake. You'll have no trouble breezing through that game. At least the storyline is good.

I think part of the reason they are so pathetic is because we've gotten better. I know that doesn't seem like a valid argument, but some people start off with Mutation (I don't know who, but I guess some people do) so they have to learn the whole thing right off the bat from there so it's harder for them than it is for us.

I think the next two games are just going to be easier and easier...

BTW, when you beat Mutation and take on that optional boss, don't bother data draining him. Yes, you'll get a rare weapon, but it's in no way a better weapon than the Blades of Bond you (hopefully) are using now.

Ya, I ripped that game apart in short time after that. Im in the middle of the third one, which is more complex in a way. Im really enjoying it since it has a bunch of side stuff. You lose a great character but gain a couple great ones after as well. The fights also become a bit more challenging as in some stages Databugs run rampant all over the place, which is great.

And ya, I understand what you mean with it being easier. We know the system and how to break through it easily, while newcomers may take a bit more time with learning it and such.

YES.

I really dislike when I'm trying to enjoy a pairing, because I think it's nice, and then all of a sudden this random person who I don't even know starts to PM me about how stupid I am, and how stupid I am for liking a pairing. O_o

They're pixels, guys. No need to spaz. xP

Ya, youve been a rather docile poster so far.

And by Summoner do you mean the kick-a** PS2 game?

Ya, its a damn fun game. I wouldnt compare it to FFVII, but its still a damn good game.

Well i say that because it still has random encounters in the World Map and such but unlike FF7 and any RPG for that matter you get EXP for finishing Quests.

Thats true, but FFVIII and FFIX also have that feature of random encounters on the world map.

The EXP for quests is something Ive seen in other places. Couldnt tell you where at the moment, but I know Ive seen it.

You just receive Gil after a quest in FFXI. EXP is always in battle.

I think one that does EXP after a quest is actually FFVII biggrin oC, though I havent played it since the month it came out.

you know i bought FFVII biggrin OC but havent played it yet since im trying to get a PS3 and play all the FF series by order.

I wouldnt bother with a PS3 yet, myself. And playing all the series in order doesnt really matter since none of them are interconnected except for X and X-2, the Tactics universe and FFXII, and the compilation of FFVII. None of the others are connected at all.
PostPosted: Fri Apr 13, 2007 5:51 pm

Yeah i know i just want to do it in order from I-XII except for XI which i know you cant beat that game and then do X-2 after X and VII biggrin OC after VII since i seen the movie already and Do Tactics and Crystal Chronicles after the number ones.

Sounds like a long and arduous plan you got there. Good luck with it.
