SMGs r only good on beaver creek and warlock, BR pwns everything else

br all the way, smgs have way too many drawbacks when a starting weapon. With a br everyone is pretty much on an even footing the entire match. Spawning with an smg against a team with brs and snipe makes life difficult. With a br at least you have a chance.

Depends on the map, but SMG is generally the starter weapon.

K a l e c Whats your opinion on it? What weapon start do you prefer? Which weapon start leads to more balanced games? SMG start because if you put me in a Game with a BR Im going to kill a few people easily....SMGs make it harder....and Some people are excelent shots with BRs so starting them off with a BR is Like starting a pro off with a Sword and some Rockets

SMG start because if you put me in a Game with a BR Im going to kill a few people easily....SMGs make it harder....and Some people are excelent shots with BRs so starting them off with a BR is Like starting a pro off with a Sword and some Rockets But the reason behind BR starts is to avoid unbalanced games. Say your playing on Lockout and you spawn at sniper tower along with your team and the other team spawns on BR Tower they grab the BR shoot snipe down it flies all the way to them one of them drops down and grabs sword another one of them hops over to the gravity lift and grabs that BR while hes being covered by the sniper and now your team loses the game because you have no power weapons and no range to fight back. All because of a spawn if it was a BR start you would have the range to fight back and you would eventually get the power weapons back, BR starts lead to balanced games.

I must say you have a point but thats if your talking about the Good players cause level 1-20s arent going to think like that they are just going to kill without thinking....but most of the time the guy in the sniper tower grabs the sniper before you can even get the BR so what I do when I have an SMG is shoot the guy with the sniper so it knocks his scope off while my team rushes in and takes his team out....but sometimes this plan doesnt work.....either way I like SMG and BR so it actually doesnt matter to me

I like starting out with the BR. But on Live I like using the noob combo. Plasma pistol and Smg

BR but its so much funner when the ocasional newb runs at you with an SMG and you have a BR ^.^

K a l e c daganhibbard1 I like starting out with the BR. But on Live I like using the noob combo. Plasma pistol and Smg The noob combo is BR Plasma Pistol. oh. I usualy use the Smg with it instead of the BR. I guess that will work though. i'll have to try it.
