She trembled pleasurably at Naruto's touch, her tongue darting to play with his. Gliding her hand from his raised ear, across his cheek, down his neck until she felt the zipper on his jacket & tugged. Unzipping the jacket she wriggled inside, sliding her hand across his chest as if exploring. Her other arm still encircled Naruto's head lovingly, fingers coming through the blonde hair & lightly trailing up & down the length of Naruto's ear.

Naruto groaned softly, his tongue flicking against Rikku's playfully as his body shudders a little bit when Rikku starts touching his ears. His hands trail up and down her back slowly, his heart feeling like it will beat right out of his chest.

She is purring. When did she start purring? Not that it matters. She loved him. He loved her... And Rikku never wanted to have him stop touching her or to stop touching him.
At Naruto's groan & shudder she breathes deeply feeling oddly content & excited all at once. Her tongue dances with his as she arches slightly closer from the ninja's touch on her back.

Feeling an all too familiar jolt go through him, he pulls back from the kiss, panting softly as he closes his eyes. He had better get his horomones back under control!! He hugs Rikku close though, whispering how much he loved her and always wanted to be with her in her ear softly, his heartbeat starting to slow down finally, even though his body still feels like it is on fire.

Rikku almost pouts, wanting more, but the sweet words in her ear quickly placate her. She still wants... however the snuggling also fills a need.
Naruto's words make her smile softly & she twines her fingers lightly in his hair. She leans her head on his shoulder. "They all saw it... didn't they? Everyone but us. I don't feel much different... just... free somehow. And having what I feel named...."
Her voice is little more than a whisper, but with her mouth near his ear & his mouth near hers no more is needed. Dreamily she watches his blonde hairs sifted through her fingers.

Naruto nuzzles her gently, shivering when she whispers into his ear, a jolt of pleasure going down his spine, "I kind of wish they would have told us sooner. I always knew I felt something for you, but I was so scared you would only see me as a friend, I didn't even want to think about us being anything more..." he whispers softly to her, running his fingers through the fur on her arm, his tail flicking about possessively around her waist.

Her own tail is still wrapped snuggly around the ninja's leg & she purrs softly. "I think my family did tell me." Rikku bats her lashes against Naruto's jaw, smiling sheepishly. "But I was not thinking for anything for myself... I just wanted to see you happy. As much as I've always wanted a family... I've never put much thought into, well, someone to start a family with."
Now Rikku blushed crimson. She really had been singularly focused.

Naruto can feel his face blush as he smiles lightly, "That day....the day you met my sister...did you really mean it? You would take your headphones off for me....to start a family?" he whispers softly, his heart beating in hope that what she said wasn't just to appease him.

She nods, biting her lip as she tilts her head cutely & starts to smile at him. "I meant it then, 'Ruto. Even if I didn't fully know why I felt like that. I'd do anything for you. No one else means as much to me as you do... even if I didn't love you..." Her face crinkles a bit with silent laughter. "...like I thought I didn't then. I think my heart was trying to have it's say."
Rikku felt hot within his arms. "There's no one I'd rather have a family with, Naruto." Her impish grin grew. "A large family. My hokaje." She ruffled his hair playfully, suddenly understanding that his dumbfoundedness that day had been about the offer not about him being hokaje to their pups.

Naruto purrs happily and kisses her cheek, "There's no one I'd rather have a family with then with you Rikku...a really big family!! We can teach them everything we know and they'll never be alone!" he whispers, giving her a soft, loving look as he continues to rub her arm gently. He chuckles a little, "My family isn't going to let me live this down..." he says with a smile on his face.

"Never be alone..." Rikku sighs happily, leaning her head back on his shoulder after his kiss -and placing one of her own on his chin. "Mine either. But they'll be cute about it. Relm will tease the hardest. Or the Weasley Twins. But Relm will be toughest & most often."
Returning to running her fingers through his hair the Al Bhed smiled. "We must have been pretty obvious... Yunie saw. If... if she hadn't compared us to her & Tidus I might still not have seen!"
Her fingers clench slightly in his hair & inside his jacket. Not painfully... just not wanting to let go.

Naruto purrs lightly, tightening his embrace on her a little bit, "I know what you mean...everyone around me kept dropping hints, but I didn't want to see it because I didn't want to ruin our friendship, so I didn't let myself see us as anything more..." he whispers softly, closing his eyes for a moment as he nuzzles her.

She snuggles closer, her death grip loosening until she is caressing him once more. "I was afraid... so afraid when Yunie convinced me! I didn't want to tell you... for fear I'd lose what we had! And yet... to not tell you..." Rikku shivered lightly and snuggled even closer into the ninja's embrace. "Oh, Naruto. I'm so glad I did! If I didn't ... If I didn't I never would have known you felt the same."
Sighing happily Rikku runs her hand up and down Naruto's chest & a little under his arm simply enjoying the feel of the muscled torso beneath her touch.
"Ruto? Do you think we could stay out together tonight?" She was thinking about something said once that only now was making more sense. Rikku wished she could remember it better. "I really don't want to leave you for any reason tonight.

Naruto listened quietly as Rikku confessed her fear of telling him and then losing him, but he was so glad she did tell him. He knew he would have kept pushing his desires and thoughts away, scared that if he acted on them, he would lose his best friend. But now they were more, so he had no reason to be scared or to push them away to the back of his mind.
Of course, Naruto really didn't think anything Rikku asking if she could stay with him that night, and he smiles and nods, "Sure, you can stay with me as long as you want! Any place you wanted to go?"

She shook her head. "No where in particular... just away... & with you." Shifting slightly so that she could kiss him again Rikku did just that, firm & tender. She sighed into the kiss.
"ahhh..." Rikku melted happily against the ninja even as she pulled back from the kiss. With dreamy eyes she smiled at Naruto. "We could just go for a walk... or a ride..."
