Nathan's Journal

Poor Aka's been up with nightmares every night this week and X is usually the only one who can comfort her enough to get her back to sleep, so the young girl just stays awake until the sun comes out. That's when she finally falls asleep, but by that time, I have to go cook breakfast for the rest of the family and what not. Slush and Isto were little help if any at the beginning of the week but then started helping out when they saw just how... off I was. I must admit I was relieved.

Devon didn't help either, keeps muttering stuff about some human girl coming onto him and being crazy for doing so. Or something like that, I wasn't paying close attention to him this week. Well, except when I had to pry him out of Slush's room when he was terrorizing Isto again. I told him he's lucky X wasn't here and he just laughed and floated outside into the snow outside. He's found out that if he waits for people to walk by, he can hop 'inside' of them and follow them inside, keeping the cold with them and absolutely freaking them out. At least it isn't Isto, I can't take him not able to move and help out around here.

Zanna is another story all together. Her and her bloody whatever the hell that is outside. It's where she stays and hasn't left all week except to forage for food and more candles. That's another thing she's gotten really into, candle for her damned mini-house. Why X even agreed to let her build it is besides me, all I know is that I hate delivering dinner out there for her.

I must admit though, she does seem to look really comfortable and at home in that cubby, and when asked she just scoffs about how it's inside herself that makes it perfect. That's when I leave. I'm beginning to think that everyone in this house is just bloody crazy.

And then there's Sire, but right now I'm too brain dead to even get started with him, I don't even know where to begin with it even if I wanted to sort it out on paper.

Damnit, I must go chase after Ziven, who seems to have nabbed Adok in his jaws again, and now I must go pry the damned Cloud Fairy out of the kitten's mouth. Blasted animals.

One things for sure, X needs to come home soon.

X comes home.
~*~

X & Sanura at Kochi's
~*~

The young vampire had just gotten home from Kochi's house, she was dead tired and Sanura was already sleeping in the baby back pack that X was beginning to covet so dearly. She was even in the door and heading up to her room when she felt an odd vibrating in her pants, and was thus stumped as the feeling continued on, until she realized that her phone was ringing. Blinking back confusion, X answered the phone as quickly and as quietly as possible as she continued to her room, cautiously opening the door to see Nathan holding a whimpering Aka.

Wrapping up the phone conversation, X sighed and quickly made her way over to Nathan, who gave a much appreciated smile when X took the young girl from his arms and hugged Aka against her comfortingly. Nathan grinned and stood up, giving X a quick welcoming kiss on the cheek before heading towards the door; X was home, no need to worry now.

"Nathan wait..." X's voice was slightly guilty, and both of them could tell.

The man stopped dead in his footsteps, sighing slightly as he turned back around to face her, but he was quick to put a light smile on his face. "You have to leave again don't you?"

"Yeah, Sanura has her first quest to do... It's important..." She trailed off softly as she thought for a moment, Nathan hanging on edge with her pause, "...I think I shall take Aka with me, she's a handful and I need to be with her."

The one eyed man almost jumped for joy at the suggestion, but instead he nodded, smiled some, and then excused himself to bed. It was long awaited sleep time.

Sighing softly, X quickly made preperations to leave again, packing much more than the previous visit had called for, since this one proved to be a bit more 'needing' than the other one had been. Especially since X had two babies with her instead of just one, and that Sunny had explained the quest to her somewhat, that it'd be a physical quest, walking to and from the two.

Four days walk. X could handle it, all else fails she could cheat and teleport every so often, though she doubted that Sunny would like that so much.

After an hour or so of prepping and packing, X was ready to go, and in clutching the two and their belongings, disappeared in a volley of black swirling smoke, reappearing several minutes later back inside of her room at the Boundless mansion. Sighing in relief, she muttered some calming words in Polish to the two, that had been the longest distance that X had ever traveled like so, and now she was tired, crawling into bed immediately.

Tomorrow was to be a long day which started early, best get all the sleep she could now.

Nathan's Journal
Nothing much to say except X left again tonight, she came, visited some woman named Kochi and then got a call from Sunny. Sanura's first quest. So she took Aka along with her and left for the Boundless estate.

At least it'll be quiet again. Sleep time for me. I need it.

[reserved for RP at TtLG]

Ronin was standing in front of the strange building, his hands nervously playing around with his little dagger as his eyes trailed around. "Thru...the...looking glass.." He pronounced it a little bit wrong, but was able to guess the meaning behind it.

This should be the shop he came from.

He had decided to come here earlier this morning as Nobu and Nalini had been running around screaming and playing. Gosh, they were terrible hyper. Ronin was almost sure that there had to be nice people around, probably more reasonable and less....nerve racking. He opened the door quietly and looked inside. "Hello ?"

It's far too cold to be flying far distances without the fear of having to crash land due to icy build-up on their wings. Tobias previously advised his.. well, he refused to refer to him as his son, but more of an annoyance of a friend.. of this matter before they'd left. Although he angrily agreed to comply, Elijah has his own plans.

It took a long wait and a bit of convincing, but Tobias managed to haggle his way into getting the car for the afternoon. Ensuring that they both bundled up appropriately - "You're being way too over protective.." was Elij's grudge-filled response to this - they arrive soon enough at the little shop (after getting lost only twice!)

Elijah didn't wait for the car to even be parked properly. He'd grown tired of blowing on the window and using his finger to draw patterns in the frost and fog. MUCH too long of a drive. It's SO much easier to fly! But noooo..

Eagerly, he bounds up the steps just in time to see the door fall closed as someone else enters in front of them.

"Nobody here." Ronin mumbled, while looking around curiously. Neat, not as good as he had expected, but quite alright.

In fact he had been very nervous the last minutes before he had entered. The Simulacra was probably not the best to communicate and he had never met anyone of his 'species' before.

A sigh of relief escaped his mouth as he noticed some movement outside the building.

Slush had been the only one who had managed to talk Zanna out of her 'hermit hut' as many of the family had taken to calling it. Well 'talk' wasn't exactly the best way to describe, it was more like 'forceful negotiations' that involved lots of kicking and screaming. Needless to say Slush was now not in the best of physical shape, however, the SM was very much proud of his accomplishment and despite several bruises and a limp, he was beaming.

The young Simulacra had no sign that anything happened to her, markless and donning the exact opposite attitude of Slush, an angry scowl of distaste. Her hair was up in a high, smooth ponytail and she had at least put on shoes because of the snow. Also, Slush had forced her into a coat of sorts, probably one of X's.

She didn't bother to look around at the two boys already in the shop, instead shoving her way by them to plop her disgruntled self onto the furthest couch in the room, away from Slush. The SM joyfully waved to the other two though, grinning wide. "Hallow you guys!"

Elijah bounds in through the door, already taking off his jacket to give his wings some room.

Giving Ronin a quick look, he gives him a smile. " 'Lo! I'm Elijah, what's your name? I dun think I've seen you before."

Behind him, his guardian emerges as well. He gives Elijah a strange look, probably one puzzled at why he'd wanted to leave so badly. I played, uh, decent music on the way..! Oy, I'll never get a hang of this caretaker stuff.. He shrugs off his jacket and hangs it up where he finds room, his wings stretching on their own at the release.

A flash of admiration mixed with jealousy covers Elijah's face at the sight of the bigger, stronger wings, but he quickly throws that aside. Facing Ronin, he waits, smiling, for a reply.

Tobias, who vaguely remembers Slush, waves a hello to the fellow SM. Finally, someone relatively his own age!

Alright...people...and they had said hello...

Ronin's mind was busy as he simply nodded a slight welcome, standing in the middle of the room looking silly. He blinked as he noticed Slush and the girl and then slowly, very slowly turned towards Elijah. Gosh, another hyper one ?

He sighed, trying to be a little bit less judging and tried to look at least a little bit happy. "Um...I'm Ronin, nice to meet you too. I was bought here, I think."

Another SM! Slush practically bounded over in excitement at the sight of another fifth stage. The only other fifthers that he knew were Isto and Mauli, the latter he didn't really want anything to do with after she got pregnant. He looked positively delighted as he finally reached Tobias, which didn't take long considering the excitement he had. "Hey! You're a Skullmonkey too! And a fifther! I'm Slush, Isto's husband." The last statement made him beam even wider at the simple thought of him. "Who are you?"

Bloody overly happy fairy boy. Zanna thought with a very visable glare towards the rather bright SM who had dragged her here. Her eyes silently watched the other two Simus talk, content to stay away at the moment.

He knew vaguly where he was going, or at least of the minimal directions chirigami had given him. After his meeting with Itsuki on the streets, Urahara had decided to go with his instincts and try to get information from the shop where their items had come from.

The soft clicks from his boots halted as he stopped in front of a building. His mismatched eyes narrowed slightly as he tilted his head to read the sign, "... looking glass..." He read aloud to no one in particular. This had to be it though. His lips curled to a frown as his hand lifted from its rest in his coat pocket to push open the door.

'hm...' he hummed to himself, standing by the door as it closed with a small bang. His hands resided in the pockets of his black coat, and his expression remained the same as his gaze settled to the center of the room to watch.

"S'alright, I was too," Elijah says with a toothy grin. Anything getting him out of the house makes the boy endlessly happy. "Nice to be meetin' you."

He eyes the disgruntled girl on the couch with cautious curiosity. What's there to be upset about when you've got freedom of going places? He turns back to Ronin. "Whatcha think is that girl's problem, anyway?" he asks in a quieter voice to ensure that she doesn't hear.

Tobias laughs quietly. "Slush, is it? I thought I recognized you. I'm Tobias.. I haven't seen many Skull Monkeys other than my sisters since, well, way back after my first world journey."

He takes a quick reflective moment before continuing to reply. "Isto's husband, you say? Seems like he must be doing well, then, also!"

Ronin was quite confused by Elijah's friendly behaviour, but guessed it was alright. Probably all Simulacra's were like this ?

But as his blue eyes settled down on the girl, without being ashamed of looking, he smiled. "I don't know, perhaps she was annoyed by her brother." The young one pointed at the SM, who seemed not less active than his own family members. Probably they exchange stupid sibling stories.

Ronin reminded himself of Lena's words to be nicer and so he tried to smile. So many people were difficult...

The door opened once more and her eyes shifted from the winged Simu who had just eyed her to the teen redhead who had just entered. Not like she was going to say hello anyways, if anyone wanted to take their chances with her, then they could do just that on their own. She wasn't going to bloody move when she didn't want to come here in the first place, so she gave the new teen an added scowl for better effects.

"Nice to meet you! You're name sounds familiar but I don't remember meeting you, maybe Sharkie... Um Isto mentioned you?" He must beamed when Tobias was not only friendly, but repeated the 'title' of marriage, it made him flush softly and grin wider. "Yep. We're both doing rather well... Though I wish we could somehow have kids..."

From what the redhead could see, the owners of the establishment were obviously not around, or at least didn't look to be. There were so many children about and barely any .. well, adults. But, then again, he had no idea who ran the shop in the first place.. though, most the the children were giving off the same feeling of being Simu, so.. he was lead back into a dead end. Ura let out a small sigh as let his back rest against thw wall behind him. Hopefully he'd find answers to the connection between him and Itsuki soon and hopefully it didn't mean something awful. Perhaps it was what the boy had thought, maybe he was suposed to teach him something.

His thoughts drifted away for a moment, however, when he felt eyes upon him. Ura turned his head in the direction of Zanna and her scowl. 'How sweet..' The teen mused to himself. His eyes closed andthe edges of his lips turned upward into a small. He wouldn't give her the pleasure of a response, all he'd do was lean a bit more into the wall behind him. Yes, exactly.

As Elijah left Ronin looked around and looked for the next best person to talk to. He decided on Zanna, who looked more reasonable than the older persons and the Skully Monkey.

His wooden shoes clagged as he moved towards the couch the girl was sitting on. "May I sit down ?"

The younger Simu chcukled low in her throat at the redhead's reaction, quirking a smile before shrugging off the annoying jacket and moving to stand up. She sensed that this Simu was darker than most of the others, almost like X when she let her temper or thirst take over. This definately intrigued her.

However, before she could make her way over, a young Simu clogged rather noisily over to her. Didn't he know anything about steathy walking so that he didn't sound like an elephant when he trounced around. Her eyes narrowed somewhat before she nodded, her smile disappearing. "I suppose."

Ronin grinned. He hadn't done this often and he usually just did it when somebody slipped over a banana in tv or if Nobu had lost one of his tail rings.

So the young one sat down and looked at the red haired teenager, who had caught the girl's attention. Being a little bit bored he pulled out his little dagger again and watched the light's reflexions. Beautiful...this thing was his best friend.

Ura's ears twitched at the sound of the little boy's geta clicked loudly upon the floor. His eyes opened out of irritation, to glare at the source and watched the two children interact in silence. Noticing eyes upon him once again, Urahara frowned slightly and continued to watch.

A small sigh escpaed him again, watching the boy from his wall. He blinked a bit, watching him take out a small knife. 'Huh..' He thought, trying to rationally make sense of why such a small and loud boy would have such a thing in his possession.

She simply raised her eyebrow at the grin and nodded slightly in response, eyes also falling down to the knife. X had weapons stowed away in her house supposedly, or so Devon had told her when he came out to visit her one day in her cubby. However, Zanna didn't need a weapon to manipulate and beat up boys, in fact she was oh so capable of doing that by herself. Like those slobs who had built her beloved cubby. Crying like babies because of a six year old.

Scoffing lightly at the boy with his knife, she returned her attention to the redhead, who had apparently been looking at the same thing just moments ago. If she could make full grown men do her bidings, maybe she could do the same to this one here. That would be fun.

Ronin looked at it shining, not noticing the scowl and the looks. He liked the knife and it was born with him that's all he knew. Lena had tried to get it away from him and even Ray didn't want him to keep it. But he had managed to store it below his pillow and had taken it with him before he sneaked out. He should have known it before, there was nobody even interested in playing with him.

Elijah slips back in, his mood slightly watered down. Okay, so no good news there. But there's still hope..! He glances quickly before resting eyes on his earlier target. A shiny dagger?

He drops down onto the remaining space on the couch. "What's up here, doin' anything interesting?" he asks in a forced politeness, more eager than anything.

Tobias shakes off his wings, the feathers separating and ruffling upon reentrance. He returns to the fellow Skull Monkey's side while the conversation is still fresh in his mind. "Sorry 'bout that. Isto and I weren't the closest of friends, but perhaps he has mentioned me before. After I got my wings, I never really was around much." He rubs at his long sleeved shirt, a reddish brown one with the familiar skull symbol printed on it near the middle.

"Thinking of kids, eh? I can say it certainly came as a surprise that I'd be the sole guardian of 'Lij over there, but you get the hang of them. When there're two parents, I bet it's probably easier to handle them. Parenthood has really cut off my travelling, but I guess in more ways than one it has grounded me a lot." Finding himself rambling, he cuts it short. "Good luck to the both of you, though. I wouldn't trade in the uh, experience for the world. Had no choice in the beginning, sure, but 's'worth it."

As Elijah sat down beside him Ronin tried to hide his shiny at first.

Alright, he's the only one who talked to me...

The Simu changed his mind quickly and decided to show it to the other boy, who seemed so excited about seeing it. "It's my dagger. It was born with me." Ronin explained and handed it to Elijah. "Be careful, it's terribly sharp and dangerous, not everyone is able to handle it."

Kami, peeking into the place with a curious look on her little chubby face, pink pigtails moving with her head as she chanced to walk into the place and toward the others. Smiling at them, her short blue chiffon dress rustling at her thighs, pinkish shoes making no sound on the carpet.

Ronin got nervous as he saw his dagger in Elijah's hands and panicked. What if people weren't as nice as they seemed ? "Sorry, I...have to go."
To many people around, definately. Lena would await him at home...

The young one grabbed his little knife and walked out of the door quickly.

"That right?" he asks, a little bewildered at the thought. Elijah wasn't born with anything special like a sharp little dagger. He handles it delicately as instructed, turning it over in his hands to examine the details more fully. "You gonna use it when you get old, or is it just to look nice?"

He doesn't always ask all the rest questions, but he assumes it's always better to ask and be denied than to never ask and lose out on the opportunity.

"Oh? But he's an absolute sweetheart! I've helped take care of a lot of X's kids, since she was basically a single parent for a long time. Amazing woman, scary as hell... but amazing." Slush grinned even though it pained him to know that unlike Mauli had, Slush couldn't give Isto a biological child. At least he had Isto, and he thanked the gods every day for him.

Ura's attention had been on Zanna, who had her attention on him., when Kami arrived. "Ho woah.." He jumped when the door opened close to him. His body slid to the left, his mismatched eyes a bit wide but more over the over all brightness of the small girl. Wow, that was a lot of pink and in such a bright hue.

His body continued to inch left, trying to escape the attacking door and then he halted when the other teenager entered the room. A grin spread across his face, his eyes closed some as his head lowered a bit. He leaned into the wall more and looked into Aurora's direction, "Well, hello Aurora... it's been a while, ne?" Urahara replied to her cooly.

The pink blinded her as well, and she sneered at the putrid, ugly colored girl. Didn't this girl understand that while her colors were good for riding bikes on the highway at night, they were rather unpractical otherwise. And damned ugly too.

Her eyes flittered to the redhead once more and notice that his attention had been captured by another girl, a teen Simu. She had stole his attention from her. b***h. Zanna's eyes darkened as she made a mental note to teach that meddling girl a lesson when she grew up. Teach her to stick her dirty mop into her own business.

It was only when she turned her head away from the redhead and MopHair did she notice the winged boy sitting next to her, or rather on the same couch as her. "Where'd the kid with the knife go?"

Kami, spying Aurora come in the door and looking at the door in time to see the other almost seemingly red and black teenager was heading for it. Moving nimbly out of his way, she turned to watch Aurora and the red haired teen whom she didn't know his name.

"Hi, Aurora!" She chiruped happily to her friend. Obviously she was still in the grasp of her childish innocence, a certain glow about her. Not knowing what Zanna thought about her, she probably wouldn't care if she had said it to her face. She blinked at their words though.

"..a dagger?"

Aurora went a bit pale for a second, then red flooded into her cheeks as she stared at the other teenager. She hadn't noticed him there! ...he still looked just as good as ever too. "Uh... Hi, Ura! um... yeah it has been... and... um... how are you then? Hi Zanna."

Then she heard a happy call from nearby, and Aurora turned to look at the little girl. Kami always reminded Aurora of a bright flower with ribbons attached. "Hi Kami!"

Urahara couldn't help but smile more as he watched Aurora's reaction to him. He loved how he made her jump and blush, it was almost intoxicating how much power he had over her. And for a quick moment his gaze lingered on to Zanna but quickly back to the curly haired girl near him. "Oh, I'm doing rather well..." Came his reply, as if nothing at all was going on. He leaned his head back against the wall. He finally pulled one of hands out of his large coat and brought it up the the nape of his neck and pulled his tail of red locks forward.

"How have you been?" He finally asked the other teen, his lanky digits playing with his red hair absent-mindly. A thought suddenly crossed his mind but he quickly pushed it back; he could ask her a bit later about Itsuki .. it was far too much fun playing with Aurora than to get down to business.

Aurora went a bit redder when she made him smile, her mind whirling with semi-panicked thoughts. She still stared, and then went even redder again when she realized she was doing so. The waiting for his reply seemed to take years, and years...

"I'm great! ...I mean, I've been great." Aurora replied, managing to keep the squeak from escaping. "Um... yea, great. I'm glad you're doing well?"

She sat down nearby in a chair, reminding herself that she had to breathe. Now. And now... and now... Aurora twisted her head back up to him, and gave him a smile back, even if on the inside she was freaking out even more.

The pink haired little girl with cute pigtails just like her mother grinned at Aurora as she said hi back to her. It was fun watching the two talk, she didn't know why.

That smile seemed to remained plastered upon the teen's face and a satified gleam hit in his eyes. Ura was having way too much fun, oh yes, the way she stammered around him.. it made his heart sing.

"So.." He started, inching his way closer towards her. The pause continued, as he tried to think of something to talk about. Well, he could question her on the reason he came to the shop in the first place. She might know about this connection anywho. "Well, Miss Aurora ... you seem to know a lot about our kind." Another pause. He raised his hand to let his index finger tap upon his chin, still trying to think of the right words.

"Is there significance that my necklace was tied around a mirror?" That seemed like a good question. Itsuki had said thats how their items were before beind sold seperatly and chiri had remembered something of that nature when he had asked her.

Andn ow he was moving closer, and he was still smiling and still looking! Aurora went over those few details in her head, trying to find some meaning to match his actions. It wasn't working very well, her mind too busy being numb to think.

"So." Aurora repeated, and looked away. Should she have done that? "I... maybe?"

He complemented her! ...Was it one? Aurora couldn't tell. And it took her a few long moments to get her mind around his question, and finally, she answered with a very intelligant, "Um," followed by, "Well... I guess... no one knows? They both had a really... really strange feeling when you looked at them, like, they both ... could give you the same feeling, like they were connected...?"

The smile finally dissolved from Urahara's face and was replaced with a frown from her response. She didn't seem to know after all. Damn. He watched her all the while, his brows scruntching together in mild confusion on what she was even stammering about. Well, he got it in the most part, he was well aware of the feeling he gave off towards other people. But, it wasn't the information he was really hoping for.

"Um." He replied in a same intelligent manner as the other teen. "That wasn't really exactly what I was referring to." He paused and took a deep breathe. Well, he'd probably have to explain it another way. "I met the boy who came out of the mirror that my necklace was wrapped around ... and, there seemed to be a connection.." a pause, "I could feel one.. something deep." Another pause, but more for a response from her. Ura's gaze rested on her and almost bore into her. He wanted to know what it all meant, dammit.

"Oh." Aurora went redder still, if that was possible, feeling it creep down her neck. This wasn't fair! Why couldn't she think? "Uh... well, they both had the same feeling when you looked at them, they gave that feeling like they were connected. And when we found them, they were together, and when we found them it was really strange." Aurora shivered a bit, the memory of it replaying in her head. "Like it was dark in the room, but it wasn't, and they made the room feel evil. But when we seperated them and moved them to different glass cases, they didn't make the room feel as evil. But I don't know, maybe there is a connection?"

Evil, huh? This made some of Urahara's smile return to his face. He was exactly sure why, but it made him feel estastic to be called evil... especially by pretty girls. Probably some power tripping, or some little reassurance he was actually tough. And her continuous blushing helped make him feel a little better all the while.

"Perhaps.." Was all he could think of as a reply. Maybe he'd have to talk to someone else, or maybe things could straighten out in time.

And now he was smiling again! Aurora relaxed finally, letting herself lean against the back of the chair and flop. "I'm sorry that I can't tell you more." She told Ura, carefull to not look at him for fear she'd tense up again and go red again. "But you know that now?"

It was funny though,Aurora thought, how she didn't mind that his necklace was evil. It almost made her heart race even faster, and gave her the idea that the 'Girls like bad boys' thing had to be true. And another thing kept nagging at her mind... a feeling that grew, and grew, the more she relaxed.

"Oh, no no.. It's fine." Urahara sighed, waving his hand to pass off her apology. "You gave some helpful information... hopefully things will be answered at some point." He smiled more warmly, or at least as warm as he could actually get. The teen turned his head towards her, his gaze boring into her again, willing her to look at him.

"Okay." Aurora replied, not quite surei f she should or not. SHe didn't like her odd feeling, which was less flustered and embarrassed now, and more pure attaraction... wasn't that a bad thing? SHe twisted her head sideways to look back, brushing the curls out of her face as she stared up. That feeling, combanated with the crush and her 'He's so cute!' thoughts...

Aurora flushed again, but it wasn't from embarrasment. She wasn't sure what it was, and jerked her head back down to look at her lap. It wasn't a issue of trying to fight embarrassment now... she had the really uncomfortable feeling of wanting to stand up and kiss him. One more glance sideways at the other teenager, and Aurora felt her self control slipping, her feet moving so that she started standing. She found herself walking over there, and kissed him. Hard. He really didnt' have much say in the matter!

Urahara's gaze lingered upon her. He simply watched her, as her gaze kept trying to escape his. He watched her actions, the way she brushed her curls out of her face and the continued flustered nature he put her through. He had to admit, it was rather cute but more, it made him feel like he had some control.

But.

He blinked, watching her raise from her chair. She was coming closer. What was she doing? His mismatched eyes widened with every inch she closed between them. Oh gawd, what was she doing? His paranoia suddenly kicked in and for the time being he loathed the trait he picked up from his guardian. His froze, his back straightened against the wall he was leaning on as if trying to find some way to go through it and escape. What-

And then the kiss.

Brain functioned stopped.

Everything was hazy and cloudy, and actually kinda nice. Sure, he really had no idea what the hell was going on and no idea how to react. His body suddenly relaxed against the wall, his eyes closed. The idea of kissing back crossed his mind, but .. his brain was too dead to really react in any way.

Kami, not wanting to interupt, looked around for something to do while she waited patiently for the two to stop talking. Reddish orbs let their gaze wander all over the shop, rather cute when she didn't smile. Eyes landing on a pad of paper that covered a rather large expanse of wall markers, crayons, pencils in a little plastic container at the foot of the wall.

Walking over to it, her pink mary janes not making a sound as she walked upon the carpet that was there. Picking up a black crayon, she began drawing to her hearts content, not at all paying attenetion to anything that Aurora was doing.

Aurora didn't notice his rection at first, her hands holding onto his sides as she pressed closer with all of her body. But the other half, the half that Aurora felt was more Kia kicked in and reminded her of something. He wasn't kissing back.

That half took voer then, and Aurora stumbled back, eyes wide and her face going a rosy red again. "...I... I'm sorry! I didn't mean to do that, it just ... it just took over! I'msorrygottagobye...!"

An then Aurora ran out of the door.

Urahara slowly was melting into puddy in the grasp of the other teen. Kissing ... was good, he finally decided after some brain functions began to reboot. He tried to get his head to clear, willing himself to kiss back.

But she pulled away and stumbled back. Urahara gasped, finally breathing and almost fell forward but somehow managed to regain balance. His cheeks were almost as flushed as hers, his eyes opened wide as he watched her in her frenzy. What had just happened? He blinked, taking in her apology. It? What was 'it'?

"Wait.." He managed to get out, attempt to will his arm to move. ".. what?" was what followed, confusion in his eyes as she ran out. There was silence and nothing from him until his body finally slid down the wall to meet with the floor. His legs stretched out and he heaved a heavy sigh. His face continued to contort in confusion, he should have kissed back. Damn it.

Zanna had watched the entire thing, a smile quirking wide across her lips as her eyes glistened with a sort of secret pride. Mophair apparently had no tact nor did she have any skills with men, something Zanna knew she wasn't lacking in.

"Having problems over there love?"

She was so highly amused by this situation that she had forgotten her sour mood, quickly replacing it with a more sadistic one. It made her so happy to see a man that had seemed so cocky earlier now in a emotional puddle of goo on the floor. Entertainment had been good to her tonight.

Catching Aurora running out of the shop at top speed, a confused look fell upon her face and she then looked at the black and red teen who seemed like he was as confused as she was. Pausing from her drawing, she walked over to him to gently poke him with her black crayon. "You okay?" Kami blinked down at him, not bright at all.

All the lanky teenager really wanted to do was sink into the ground at that moment. Not only had he totally blew it on his first kiss, but with a pretty girl too. And not only that, she had made him lose his cool and all his control over the situation.. and in front of others; which made it so much worse. All he could do was narrow his eyes in response to the other girl. He could tell in the way she spoke and the way she looked at him, that she could use this against him. s**t. shitshitshit.

And then there was poking. "What?" He growled to the insanely bright haired little girl, "I'm fine!" He replied in an equally annoyed tone. Gawd damn it. He pulled his legs up from their stretched position so he was now sitting indian style.

Urahara was losing control and he wasn't pleased.

She wrinkled her nose at Zanna's words, not liking her attitude when she had looked over to her and saw a smile that just didn't seem nice to Kami. Not having seen anything Aurora and Ura had done, she didn't take his words harshly at all for some reason, looking at Zanna instead. She blinked innocently. "Why are you so not nice?"

"Ah, Mr. Red hurt Aurora... Remember she ran out earlier? I could have sworn she was crying, and it was his fault." She shrugged towards Ura as she responded to Ms. Pink, a very believable pained smile covering her lips before she turned back to Ura and thought for a moment.

This was perfect. She'd have to thank Slush later because now she had very usable dirt on this cocky male, and it made her so very happy inside she could almost dance. When he narrowed his eyes it just made her smile even more inwardly because it proved that it got to him.

"You should be nice to her... only a little girl after all, and nicer to girls in general."

It was then that she stood up off the couch, slowly making her way over to the pile of teenage meltdown on the floor, smirking with every step.

"Boys shouldn't be mean to little princesses..."

Urahara wanted to break out and just reem on the other girl. ******** the fact that she was a mere child, though didn't seem to act as such, and give a piece of his mind. No harm had come to Aurora, what had happened was something out of their control.. or at least that's what the red head kept trying to tell himself. But he knew he hadn't hurt her in anyway ... his eyes narrowed further, boring into the the dark haired girl's. He couldn't lose his cool anymore or at least again, he couldn't .. that would further entise her; he wouldn't be a pawn in her little games. Urahara needed to regain control over the situation but all he could do was continue to glare.

His body relaxed as much as it could and slouched into the wall. He finally took his eyes off of Zanna and towards Kami but brought them back again. He continued to remain silent and folded his arms against his chest.

Kami managed to blink again at Zenna's words, wondering if she should believe her or not but Aurora was her friend and just the thought of anyone doing that to her espcially making her cry well she just couldn't handle it.

"She did run out earlier, was she crying? I can't remember if she was or not." Looks pointedly at Ura who was still slumped on the floor.

Zanna's eyes seemed to chuckle as they stared upon his futile attempts at calming down. She saw how pissed he had been, itching to come after her and beat the hell out of her, and now he was attempting to cover it up quite poorly. That was one thing X had taught her, and that was how to read people.

Another was how to manipulate them, well she tought her to refine her skills that seemed to come almost natural to her.

It was time for her to have a conversation with this Aurora girl, make friends with MopHair. She could prove useful to her. X was always telling her the values of connections.

The Simu child eyed Ms. Pinky, making sure she looked very hurt and betrayed as she nodded in agreement to the girl's statement before her eyes moved to Ura's slumped form. "I do believe she was crying. She did run away rather quickly... either way she had a hurt and embarassed look on her face... Poor thing."

All around him, Urahara could feel the slip of control through his fingertips. He silently cursed to himself as he watched Zanna and her snide comments and her little act. It was working, more on the little pink haired girl beside him. To him, it was making any sense of getting back into the game become something of impossible. It was making him lose his temper and lose any sight of his own innocent act.

As Zanna had learned something from her caretaker, Urahara was at a lose. He had learned nothing from chirigami thus far, feeling more in the dark about anything he tried to comprehend. If he managed to get out of this alive, he knew he had to corner her at some point and get something out of the airhead.

But, for now... he had to gain some ground. His eyes softened from their glare and just simply looked upon the girl. If he was going to act, he needed to think of something now. Something, anything to shut the girl up. Truthfully, he wished she'd mind her own business in things she couldn't comprehend, but for now he had to fight fire with fire.

He closed his eyes and inhaled only to pause and then exhale. "You seem to recognize those looks well enough, na?" He began coolly in a soft tone; uncrossing his arms and propping himself up against the wall a bit better. He paused and then raised his eyes to her once again, just... staring. "Tell me, did you enjoy the show? or rather what you're making of it?" He questioned the girl with a sugar-coated smile as his fingers ran through the tail of red hair hanging off his shoulder.

She looked shocked, an act of course, but a very believable one considering she wanted to die laughing at that very moment. When she spoke, the Simu made sure to sound offended and disgusted even. "Could you not see how hurt and embarassed that you made 'Rora with your obvious fumbling and lack of control?"

Of course she enjoyed the 'show' that he and the Mop girl had provided her, served her right for interrupting her conquest, but she wasn't going to admit that in front of Pinky. Unless she could twist his words to suit her needs. Yes that should work just fine. "Did I enjoy watching you make an a** out of yourself before, during, and after? Yes. Did I enjoy watching you hurt that sweet girl? Of course not! You're sick to even fathom that I could enjoy such a thing!" Her disgusted look continued, her frown arcing downwards even more as she addressed the second 'question.' If she could, she'd throw some fake tears into the mix, but that would be overkill.

...Suckers.

Caught in between the two, she nodded in agreement to Zanna. "..Poor Aurora" That was all she said before Ura finally started to talk. Worried look still upon her face, the pink haired simu worrying for her friend, obviuosly written in her red orbs.

Urahara never picked up what Kami had said, the little girl was forgotten in him mild. His smile remained upon his face and only widened as Zanna spoke. Soft fingers lingered upon his lips, where Aurora and all this had started in the first place. He simply snorted to her 'offended' rattlings. "I fail to see how my 'fumbling' was the cause of her distress," He began in a snooty voice, even doing the air quotes on the word fumbling. "or how it would be my fault even if that were the case."

He chuckled lightly, pushing his palms against the ground to finally stand up. He passed the idea of leaning against the wall again but took up taking a step closer to dark haired girl. Mismatched eyes twinkled as he now looked down upon her. "Sometimes, things as sweet as kisses can leave a man, even such as myself speechless. You're learn these things when you're older and maybe more full in figure."

Ura tilted his head to the side, a look of wonder on his feature. "Now, I'm curious... where did you learn to act so well? You say you've enjoyed my mistakes yet you act so shocked and hurt~" A lanky digit stroked the contour of her cheek before it circled down to her chin to raise it, allowing him to lower his face to almost meet hers, "Why do i find it hard to believe that you'd be at all empathetic with a sadistic little mind like that..." Came a whisper near her cheek.

"Your fumbling, and inexperience caused the skittish one to panic when she realized her gesture was not returned... If you really could manipulate her, than you would have made the right moves to keep her here. Keep her... wanting you shall we say..."

Her voice drawled out the words, as if bored to tears by having to explain to the red head what exactly him and his inexperience had led him into this 'show' as he had called it. Like Ura, Zanna had seemingly forgotten Kami and didn't really continue her act, since the idea had already been set and was growing as they spoke. Zanna's eyes followed his movements with precision. He was much bigger than her and though that had not stopped her in the past, she could still sense the vibe that came from him, and that may include some rather nasty traits in battle that she did not want to see till her growth. When she could properly kick his a**.

Man? Now he was rambling about being a man and 'sweet kisses'? She didn't know about him but Mop didn't seem to have given him a 'soft' kiss, instead it seemed more passioned, like the ones she often sees at home between either Jack and X or the 'boys', Isto and Slush. Those types of kisses usually meant one of a few things, and 'soft' wasn't usually the right adjective to describe those activities.

"Well...'Man'... I'm glad you have a romantic weakness, but that girl did not give you any soft, tender, or 'sweet' gesture of the sorts. Instead she threw herself at you in a blind, passionate kiss..." She then snerked during the pause at his last statement, eyes gleaming with amusement. "Funny thing, ironic you may say, is that I'm indeed older than you, though I may not look it. I just haven't grown physically yet, and my body just needs to catch up with my mind..." The Simu decided to not comment on the 'full figure' remark, deciding that he would indeed see her drop dead 'figure' when she finally does grow, and then he can eat his words.

Her eyes darkened and changed from a deep royal purple to an adgitated black when he touched her, though her voice remained rather calm when she spoke, smirking slightly in lazy amusement. "I can 'feel' whatever one wants me to feel... If I allow it first, or if it suits my needs. That is not to say that I cannot hold those feelings on my own accord, it's just that they may need to be covered up for the greater service..." She trailed off some with a light chuckle before continuing, ignoring the finger under her chin. "Each articulate word and well preformed statement has a specific consequence, and it is an art to be able to formulate such a concotion of words, phrases, and well planned actions into creating the desired result..."

"I learned this all, if you must know, from my 'mother' of sorts, X. She is my guardian, and very useful in that role, teaching me many things." The 'older' Simu's hand finally, and quickly, snapped upwards to grab his wrist and pull it forcefully away from her face. "Touch me again... and you will feel not only my wrath, but that of my guardian's. Believe me, angry vampires are not to be reckoned with. Are we understood?"

RP Prompt: All night, Zanna would feel the most unbearable pins and needles, and end up sleeping in the cubby that was built for her. Although it won't stop them, it'll give her some comfort...

And when she wakes, she finds she's doubled in height, and become a strong, muscular teenage girl....

It was nighttime, and the young Simu would usually be terrorizing the white haired shy girl X adopted a while back. However, at the moment the girl was currently doubled over in pain, it was if her entire body had fallen asleep and was now waking up.

Only about a hundred times worse.

She had to get out of there, back to her safe cubby outside, so she stumbled out of X's house, somehow managing to crawl her way out and into her safe haven. No one could see her this weak, the child Simu wouldn't allow it.

Now she was sprawled out on the floor, just beyond the door of her cubby, curled up in pain, the cubby she was in, her cubby, somehow bringing her the comfort that she needed to drift into a restless sleep.

When she finally woke up, early the next morning, Zanna's entire body ached from head to toe. Her muscles and joints were sore as if she had just worked out for gods know how long, but she had to get up sometime, the hard floor wasn't making her feel any better.

Zanna grunted as he peeled herself up and off the floor with the help of the spear in her hand, which she of course hadn't noticed in her morning daze. As soon as the Simu gathered her barrings however, Zanna's gaze moved down to the thing in her hand. Her spear.

Where the ******** had this thing come from?!

Eyes darting around in the mental confusion, Zanna began to notice just how small her cubby seemed to be now. Gazing down at her body, the new teen gasped and stumbled backwards, nearly tripping over something miniscule in the process.

She had grown!

Her tattoos were larger, more prominant, accentuating her new, extremely muscular body in just the right way. <******** she looked good.

Even her clothes had changed, to a more form fitting, athletically appropriate style that hugged her curves and kept her free to move however she choose.

Oh wow! She was even tanner than before! Her skintone having darkened considerably from that she had gotten from her 'mother'.

This was so ******** sweet.

A hand moved up to run through her wavier hair as a absolutely evil smirk began to adorn her lips at another realization...

...She may even be taller than X now.

This was sweeter than ******** sweet.

Moving towards the door with an even deeper smirk, Zanna left and made her way over to the main house. It was time to ******** show herself off.

Then, with that over, she could start training with this lovely spear of hers. That way, when she saw that Ura again, she could kick his a** like a real woman, not like that pansy Aurora.

It was about time a women moved to teach men some manners.

[Training/Buying a new knife]
Zanna's Journal
Today I went to find some more weapons for myself and I came across a rather cool shop with lots of gadgits and whatnot there. I only had enough gold for one of his knives though, so I bought that.

It's really sharp and even elegant looking, so I've gone about attempting to make a strap or something for it. This way, I can carry it without the risk of stabbing myself when I sit down or fight.

Speaking of fighting, I've been training with my new staff a lot, my baby. I mean, I have to keep up the working out to keep my tone and figure. I think I'm getting good enough to spar with mum, well maybe... we'll see about that.

Maybe I should ask her to work out with me? Either way, I need to get to making that thing for my knife.

It was around midday when Adrian finally slunk himself back into X's house, his black hand groping sloppily for the stairs' railing, just in case. He was about to conquer the first step when suddenly, a very sharp and very well aimed spear came hurtling from the other end of the foyer. It came within centimeters of his nose, so close that he could feel the breeze it created as it sped by.

His eyes crossed as he stared dumbfoundedly at the wooden 'handle' currently in his face, it was only when he heard a strangely familiar voice did he take his attention off of the weapon.

"Nice of you to join us... not that I care really..."

Adrian was sluggish due to his lack of sleep the past night, and didn't quite put two and two together when he saw the other teen. Damn she was hot, and looked like she could kick his a**.

Holy ******** look at those abs! And those tattoos... Tattoos that look quite like... Zanna's... Oh dear gods!

He turned sharply as if he were going to run upstairs and claw his eyes out, but he simply forgot about the spear being there. So when he turned, there was a loud cracking sound, followed by a groan and a thump as his body fell back onto the floor.

Now he was seeing stars...

...Just as her lips were curling into a very satisfied smirk. She, unlike the black-skinned one currently groaning on the floor, could put two and two together.

The newly grown teen took in consideration his absence, his extremely groggy state, and his 'cowboy who's ridden too much' walk. Zanna wasn't stupid, and now she had blackmail.

Before Adrian could push himself up and off of the ground, Zanna had reclaimed her spear from out of the wall, stepped one foot onto his chest, and then aimed the blunt end of the spear at his very sore crotch. After a few quick jabs and pained groans from him, she finally decided to grace him with her voice.

"Rora wasn't it? She's the only one stupid enough to sleep with you..." The voice held disgust for both him and the other Simu, but she didn't want to waste her air on scum like him.

Releasing the wide eyed Adrian, Zanna gave him a swift blow to his side with her spear. "Walk on eggshells..." She purred before she disappeared into the depths of the house just as stealtily as she had come.

Adrian was just left dumbfounded and hurting on the floor.

What the ******** hell had just happened?! After a while, the groggy teen peeled himself off of the floor and dragged himself upstairs, wary of any spears to be thrown in his direction.

It was time for him to take a very long nap, and once he reached, locked himself into, and then crashed onto the bed in his room, the black Simu was out.

Zanna however, was plotting her next move as he slept oblivious to what had really just happened to him.

Zanna's journal
I met, or rather remet, another Simu girl today, one that isn't so annoying. Well she is, but in the 'little kid asking too many questions' way, not the 'slut whore girl with no backbone' way like Rora is annoying. Apparently Sarria thinks that I'm her idol or something of the sorts, this could be advantageous to both of us, depending on how strong she grows up.

Speaking of advantageous, using that lovely tidbit of Adrian/Rora information I talked Ura into being my ally. He's rather weak and paranoid at the moment, but I sense a powerful darkness in him, that he will be very strong once he figures himself out. But until then I will consider him weak and in need of lots of guidence from me.

Maybe I should whip him into shape. Oh that will be so fun.

Now I must train some more so that I can possibly spar with mum sometime soon.

Zanna was once again out of the house, spear in hand and knife tucked carefully in her 'belt' of sorts, purple eyes keeping a lookout for any movement as she made her way into the shoppe. She shivered, but quickly shed her coat anyways, dumping it on the nearest couch before standing in front of the fire for warmth, back to the door.

Elijah had, once again, broken away from the hellish hole he called his bedroom. It hadn't been easy.. Tobias is getting smarter with his tricks and traps. However long it ended up taking doesn't seem to phase the newly teen; the fresh air against his wings, still slightly sore and cramped from less use, is too delightful of an experience to put a down on his mood.

Although it peeves him to wear shoes, it's compulsary for a planned landing on that evil, frigid white stuff. He'd stolen Tobias' hiking boots, and now they make a hefty noise on the roof as the young Simu takes to the ground again.

The wavy haired teen was too preoccupied with the flicker of the flames and the warmth they were bringing her now tanned skin to notice the noise of crunching snow outside. Sighing in content, she set her spear off to the side, leaning it up against the wall before raising her hands towards the heat.

Elijah steps forward off the side of the roof, something clearly suicidal to do if not for the wings spread across his back. He's become so accustomed to the idea of his wings holding up his weight that even in the bitter cold with the thread of them locking up, he trusts them dangerously with his life.

Plummeting, he has a grin across his face. His wings make for a cushioned, graceful landing after all. Elij hurries up the steps of the familiar building, ignoring how noisy these shoes tend to be. No matter, they'd be off as soon as he gets inside. Swinging the door open carelessly, he discards the annoying footwear and shuts the door on the cold.

" 'Lo?" he calls out rather tiredly, exhastion from the abrupt exercise finally hitting him.

She did however hear the thundering of footsteps up the stairs and through the door, causing her to turn in search of the noise's owner. Her eyes found the figure quickly, the wings and height being too hard to miss. It was a boy but from her angle it was hard to tell who exactly it was, so she abandoned the fire and padded towards him with a curious greeting.

She had forgotten about her spear, for now. "Good afternoon..." Gods this kid looked familiar, but then again, a lot of boys looked the same from the side as far as their heads were concerned.

He grins despite himself as the mood carries on into his expression. This girls looks rather familiar, but there isn't a lightbulb going off in his head alerting him of a name. Ah well, he'll sidestep around that..

"Fancy seeing you here," he throws out into the air with a nod, dropping down into the comfort of a chair. His wings instictively fold to benefit and take a rest. "Were you here all alone, or did your company just step out o'something?" he talks lazily, not bothering to speak properly at this time of day.

Did she know this guy? He was acting as if she did, but the teen couldn't put her finger on it at the moment, so she went with it. "I had to get out of the house..." '..and away from the same airspace as Adrian,' she thought to herself before raising an eyebrow at the notice of his chin. What weird facial hair.

"...So there was only me, but not anymore it seems. Pleasure." She couldn't seem to take her eyes off of the intricate 'facial hair' for a bit, the markings reminding her of her tattoos on her stomach, which she ran a few fingers over at the thought. Tattoos were a ******** cooler than facial hair anyways. "Neat...goatee?" Or whatever it was.

"Tattoo," he replies gruffly, touching a finger to his chin at the mention. " 'n thanks, it is pretty cool I suppose."

He stretches out his arms til they meet behind his head, taking a careful look at her with a raised eyebrow in thought. After a moment's pause, he gives in to the curiosity. "Can't put my finger on a name to match your face, m'sorry.. Mine's Elijah, if that helps any."

He could certainly feel the kicking to his brain that he should match up this grown up version to someone he's met before, but it was a while ago..

"Hot." She replied absentmindedly before raising an eyebrow at her own comment. Now she had to think of a coverup lest he think she was boy crazy like Rora. "Eh, I think it looks good on you... Elijah? Mr, sounds familiar but I likewise don't remember. I'm Zanna."

Yes, keep everything flowing in one continuous thought, stupid teenage hormones decided to rear their ugly heads when they weren't wanted. He was just a weak male, nothing too big.

"The name rings a bell," he murmurs thoughtfully, not even catching onto the earlier comment immediately. He tone is slightly preoccupied when he's thinking of something different than what is said, but his mind always records what it was and played it back to him when there was time.

He gets up onto his feet; as they touch the floor the bare skin is struck by the temperature drop, but he pretends not to notice. No shoes > shoes, in his mind. Taking into consideration what he oh-so-recently discovered about the opposite sex, he dances around the comment carefully.

"Nothing special. I'm willing to bet lots'f people have tattoos anyway. Sure, they all don't have wings to match, but we all can't be lucky."

Well, that was smooth.. he winces as he shot himself in the foot with that one..

Her purple irises followed him as he stood, noticing that he was actually a good bit taller than her. At least he had that going for him.

That and the wings, which, thanks to him her attention was now drawn towards, and now that she thought of it, he was right. "They are quite beautiful..." Her mind suddenly went through all the possible ways that wings would be advantageous in a fight; if she had them that is, and as she was thinking, her hand reached out and upto run her fingers with the grain of the feathers.

"I guess I just have a thing for tattoos?" Zanna sighed, maybe it was a trait from X, or maybe it was something her hormones had decided just so they could laugh at her Rora like thoughts. Stupid ******** hormones.

Unconsciously, taking on a life of their own under the touch of the teen, Elijah's wings ruffle gently. He takes a quick look down at them, quite embarassed for ever mentioning them. At this point in time, he's lucky those teenage hormones haven't yet been set off at crazy levels.

His blonde bands fall in front of his eyes, and he lifts a hand to brush the hair away, knowing full well that it'll just fall back sooner or later anyway. "The one I've got is growing on me, actually.. I was thinking the other day 'bout what it'd be like having more 'long my arm or something.." His voice seems smaller with her so much closer, balanced in a stage of strange nervousness and an even weirder unknown comfort.

Zanna was about to say something about his wings when he mentioned the possibility of more tattoos, her attention coming back to his, which was at eye level anyways. Not noticing the pushing back of the hair, Zanna instead imagined him with more tattoos.

This was the gods' revenge; using her hormones against her through this inkling weakness. Curses on them!

"Hmm..." She leaned in so she could get a better look at the detail of the tattoo, biting on her lip in concentration as her mind took the design in, not really noticing just how close they were.

Like Zanna cared, she was tattoo oogling.

Elijah begins to draw back from her, keeping in place below the waist but merely leaning backwards a tad in unease. His wings give tell-tale signs of bristling out of nervousness, but he tries to cover this up like throwing a rug over a spot on the floor.

In a voice unlike his own, as it's very choked from the compromising situation, Elijah speaks up. "Like the.. view?"

Zanna knew this was unlike her, usually not being to fond of men, but he was different somehow. Apparently the tattoo and her hormones clouded her judgement and usual quick wit at its current distance.

"Hmm...?" Her eyes gradually looked up to his, giving him curiously lustful gaze, though there was less of the latter than the former in her eyes. All from a very well placed tattoo. "Very much so actually... And in response to earlier, a few more tattoos would make me very happy as well..."

Smooth, even though she was talking about more tattoos for herself, it didn't sound like she had.

Elijah raises an eyebrow very slightly, his mouth tugging into a nervous smile. "D'you have any, yourself? .. Tattoos, I mean." What's wrong with me? he thinks roughly, bewildered at yet another thing that's changed since he's grown. Hell, what's wrong with the situation that'd make him act so funny..?

Blinking twice, his eyes drop and accidentally lock onto hers. He'd been avoiding this, looking everywhere but directly at her.. and now he's stuck. He hadn't planned on being out so late; Tobias is sure to catch him now, sneaking back in perhaps. However, somehow for whatever reason.. this realization doesn't even phase him.

With his question, Zanna simply nodded as she somehow reached down and found his hand, moving it to press against the tattoos she was speaking of. This must be a bit of X still in her because Zanna didn't know where ******** that had come from. "Here... all across my stomach, my upper left arm, and my right ankle... But they're more like birthmarks, only they became more complex with my growth..."

Somewhere in her mind she was cursing her hormones, but honestly, she didn't really give much of a flying monkey anymore because the teen was rather lost in what was going on, and even his eyes.

"Birthmarks, eh.." he repeats in a barely breathing voice. He swallows at the lump in his throat, trying to shove away all urgent thoughts of having to go. "I bet they're real beautiful," he continues, dragging his eyes away to break from her face and to fall onto where she positioned his hand.

His wings extend in the slightest, as if trying to pull him out of a deep coma of a dream. It works, not directly at first but it jolts him in a sudden burst.

"I've got to go," he explains hurriedly, trying not to make it seem like he's trying to ditch her after quite the series of moments. He'd been heading towards the front door, but turns right before the first doorway. "Be seeing you around, though, I s'pose?" he adds quickly and anxiously. It's all so awkward..

Zanna's eyes watched his as the roved downward, a light smirk quirking at her lips before his sudden outburst caused her eyes to widen and her face to fall. What had she done? "O...kay?" Confusion showed in her voice as well as her eyes.

She nodded when he added the last part, secretly hoping that it was true and he wasn't just trying to ditch her. "Same place I assume?"

"Sure," he agrees with a nod. Where else? He knows the aerial map of the town, but nothing about street names and such. Hurriedly, Elijah tugs on his "borrowed" boots, finding them still distastefully cold.

Slyly, before ducking out the door, he injects one last comment instead of a casual goodbye. "Me an' my tattoos'll be back for your oogling pleasures some other day, you just won't know when that'll be."

She stayed where he had left her as she watched him tug on his boots and leaving, a grin snaking across her lips with his last comment. Mn, more tattoo viewings, she couldn't wait. He wasn't hard on the eyes either, or rather at all.

"Till we meet again," she echoed watching him leave before she herself turned back towards the fire with a shiver. Zanna scooped up her spear and coat, shrugging the later on before she followed him out the door long minutes later, still very much dumbfounded on what had happened.

"Blasted hormones," Zanna half grumbled as she headed off towards home in attempts to figure out what had just happened.

The trip home was a blur to her, the task completed in an almost robotic fashion. Wham, bam, getturdone. It was only when she got home and retired almost immediately into her cubby, after stealing some cheesecake from the fridge first.

Stoking the fire, Zanna finally settled down on the comfy plush chair in her 'living room', pulling out her journal from under it and grabbing the nearest pen.

'Time to attempt to sort this s**t out,' she sighed mentally whilst putting pen to paper.

Zanna's Journal
I really don't know what I'm thinking myself at the moment, so I'll just write whatever comes to my mind.

Today was ********... interesting. I met another Simu today, don't know if I've met him before, though he seems familiar. Now, I usually flat out hate men, or just have the urge to use them to my advantage (ie tolerate them enough till I get what I want.)

First off, this teen didn't piss me off right off the bat. Points for his Y chromosome.

He also has a pair of ******** sweet wings. Must be amazing to use in a battle, or in any type of training for that matter.

All of that is cool and all, but he's just a stupid male. Well he was until I noticed his tattoo.

And then I totally just... let my guard down? Totally acted like someone else? Was attracted to him?

Yes?

I honestly don't know what happened, but whatever did... I just couldn't help myself.

Was it really me or the hormones that teenagers are supposed to have?

I don't need a man to live, and I'm not looking for a boyfriend or whatever.

If I don't, then why did I act like that today? I swear I wanted to kiss him in the very least.

I can't be getting weak can I? A warrior doesn't get weak, nor does she give into men like this.

If I give into these teenage urges, then will I no longer be a warrior?

I'm so confused about all of this. My brain hurts even.

I mean, I not only tolerated him, I actually enjoyed his company!

And I hate men, or rather loathe to the point of castration. The only good ones are the ones tougher than me. I can't take one like Ura: skinny, wimpy, and paranoid.

My mate needs to be strong, needs to have strong genes. But that doesn't mean I need a man right ******** bloody hormones!! Why now?! Why when I was just getting everything uncontrol?!

I don't like having a weakness, especially such a girly, dependent one.

But I don't want to drive him away either. There aren't many boys I enjoy the company of outside of a few in my family, and apparently he's one of the more than tolerable ones.

With a very hot tattoo, and he thinks mine are beautiful! I'm glad someone else other than X and I like them...

Anyways, I'm not going to fling myself at him. I won't EVER fling myself at a guy.

I'm just going to be myself. Be independent, keep up my training, and not give anyone an extra inch.

That's what I'll do. Though it's not much of a definate conclusion to my 'problem' and confusions... It'll just have to do for now because I'm so confused that I'm tired. About to fall asleep.

Maybe things will be clearer tomorrow.

Hopefully.

RP Prompt:

While out in the woods, and climbing as she does, Zanna finds herself slipping on ice high in a tree and falling.

And breaking her leg in three parts, meaning that she's stuck with a full leg cast, a week of bedrest before she's allowed to move, and having to depend on others coming to help her.

The Walk

It was partly cloudy when the teen decided to go out for a walk and maybe a good climb or something, to clear her mind. Zanna had made sure to dress for the weather, wearing boots with good traction, a pair of snow pants over her tighter capris, as well as a warm, yet non-movement restricting jacket.

She wasn't stupid enough to go out in the snow underdressed, no matter how confused and bitchy she was about things at the moment. With her spear in toe, the teen expertly made her way to her favorite part of the forest behind X's estate of sorts.

There were no tracks in the snow for as far as the eyes could see and the weather was perfect, nothing out of place or anything.

Suddenly something inside her told her to stop, so she did, her purple eyes scanning her surroundings as her ears tuned in to any strange sounds.

A growl came from ahead of Zanna and her eyes came to lock on a rather straggly looking wolf amist a struggle patterned array of blood, which turned into a trail leading towards the nearest tree but stopping and pooling right before it. Curiously, Zanna turned her eyes upwards into the tree, spotting a snowy owl nearly covered in blood.

The beautiful bird was tucked rather precariously in the tree, blood dripping down the branch from its leg, causing the pool at the bottom of the tree.

She was knocked out of her daze when a barking growl suddenly came from almost directly in front of her. Apparently the wolf wasn't very happy about losing his lunch and was most definately blaming it on Zanna.

Zanna simply raised an eyebrow and tightened her grip on her spear for a mere moment, a grin lacing her lips as she stared into the animal's eyes, challenging it. Confidence rose from the teen as she snapped the spear into a more offensive position, all senses focused on the wolf.

Who seemed to understand her intentions, but was too disgruntled to really care about reason at the moment.

He lunged. She dodged. And so began her dance with the wolf.
