He shudders at the contact from her, content at staying the tent's distance away from her. He screws up his own face, raising one of his eyebrows at the product she finds.
"I 'unno.. I think I saw one of those in one of Tobias' books. S'for.. for carving tattoos, I think." He hadn't noticed, but while answering her he rubs his thumb over his chin. The slight indenting had always interested him; as far as he knows, regular tattoos don't leave grooves.
He continues to reply, crawling on his knees over to her. The grass skirt didn't even cross his mind, really - he wasn't looking. "Heck if I know how to use it, though, it's not like I read a handbook about them or sommat.."

"Carving tattoos? That's kinda cool." Aurora prodded it, and the chisel like thing that had been with it. So she was going to give the teenager a tattoo?
...Aurora had never done anything like that! This was so cool. He had odd dreams, interesting, but odd. How many people wanted someone to give them tattoos IN a dream?! She glanced up, gazing at his chin tattoo. It was probably grooved like her own, but did he have it in reality as well? Aurora decided she'd have to see, when she got back from Greece.
"Well, you've gotta know somehow, because I know. And it's your dream, meaning I only know because you want me to know." Aurora raised an eyebrow at Elijah. "So, you need to stop moving and let me do it... and by the way, things only hurt in dreams if you want them to. Keep that in mind."
She deliberately left out the 'Sometimes they can become real and hurt for real' part though. He could find that out later.

He gives her a suspicious glance, but complies. It's in his best interest NOT to disagree with someone when they have a tool like that at hand. Grudgingly, he coaxes himself til he's lying still on the dirt ground.
"You'd better be right, and you'd BETTER know what you're doing," is all he says. This lower angle of her reminds him of his younger days of looking up at her, not brightening his mood at all in that way either. It's only a dream, he reminds himself. Nothing's real in a dream. When I wake up, this'll all be forgotten, yep..
And if it's not?
He doesn't let his mind wander down that path. Letting out a small sigh, he fidgets one last time before resting his head in her lap for good, arms stiff at his sides. He doesn't know why he'd agree to her - of all people, did it have to be HER? - working on something so close, on his face no less..

Aurora gave him a slightly evil grin, he was at her mercy, and she could give him ANY tattoo she likde with this odd 'chip and carving' into his flesh! Maybe she could do a 'cooties, beware' sign or something.
"I only know what you know, so you better hope YOU know what you're doing." Aurora replied, shrugging off the cloak so that she could move her arms better. But she didn't have much say, her hands started to move automatically, almsot as if they'd done this thousands of times before. It was a bit sickening to Aurora, how she'd gently chisel lines into his skin and put black ink inside... but for some reason, she was doing it exactly how it was supposed to be done.
But damn, she couldn't do the cooties part.
"You know," Aurora muttered as she watched her hands move. "You'd probably be able to do this when you wake up, if you feel the bloodthirsty urge to carve into someone's skin. You seem to know already."
After about an hour... at least, she thought it was, dreams were never clear on time, Eljiah had tattoos near his eyes on each side.
And then Aurora put down the tools, and froze. ...this wasn't good. "What the ******** are you doing now?" Aurora complained, trying to wriggle an arm. It didn't work.
She hated being in other people's dreams.
And three blind mice skittered past.

Elijah raises from the ground with an equally evil grin that she'd given before the process.
"Your turn, of course," he laughs in a strange tone, picking up the device from where it falls. It feels so natural in his hands, and he has no idea why. Well, he does, but he doesn't want to accept that answer..
"Well?" he says, sitting up like she had moments before. "Where d'you want it? You're not getting out of this easier than I am, it's just not.. fair." He ends the last part with a smirk, glad to have a chance at the same fate for her..
Of course, he couldn't really go through with it to the extent that he wanted. She'd never forgive him for THAT.. and as far as he knows, he doesn't want disgruntled girls on his back. She's already annoying just normally- no need to piss her off, too.

Oh, so that was what was going on. That wasn't a good sign, Aurora decided as she wriggled a few fingers. And how on earth would she explain a tattoo to Nyoka? 'Oh, I got bored so I did a bit of carving in the middle of the night.'
Yea, right.
She twitched, and glanced down at the tools in his hands. Aurora hoped he knew how to use them, heart fluttering a bit more in panic than before. Or... that he couldn't do the cooties thing, like she hadn't been able to. "My turn? ...damnit, I'm never falling into your dreams again. Like I have a choice though."
Aurora sighed. It was his dream, after all. She couldn't do much about it. "...I don't know, on the back somewhere? ...no, it'll interfere with training. Um, maybe on my leg." If it did become real, then she could claim she'd knocked it or gotten a bad cramp during the night...
"I'm so getting you back when I come back from Greece." Aurora muttered.

"Tut-tut," he says, poking out his tongue at her and crawling over to get a better angle at her leg. How pretty the bare skin is..! Too bad, he'll just have to fix that.
Without another word more than "sit still," he guides the tool across her lower leg. It doesn't seem to phase him much as it works away at her skin, as he continually tells himself in his head that it's only a dream. Even so, he can't help but make strange faces as he's working away at her tattoo; he silently hopes that she's watching his expressions, and that they mortify her, as if something's going terribly wrong during this process or something. THAT'D be a good laugh!
The tattoo itself is rather complicated but small, even unnoticable from afar, but the amount of detail he packs into it is surprising. Leaning back, he admires the work he's done, unnecessarily blowing off the tool as if blowing smoke from a recently fired gun.
"All done," he announces gleefully. "And for the record, I'd be more than happy if you stayed out of my dreams - it's worse that I gotta put up with you in real life, but at least in dreams I can escape that reality!" Another strange facial expression, one he'd practiced earlier to further tease one of his siblings.

Aurora didn't have much choice but sit still, unable to watch what he was doing to her leg. She had to be mad, but it wasn't like she had much of a choice, apparently. She was stuck fast there, and she'd be like that till he'd done what he wanted to do.
She was afraid though, that he'd done something wrong. He kept making faces at her leg! ...What was he drawing? It was probably something really bad, and something that she'd end up keeping in reality.
Aurora leaned forward, and gazed at it. ....it was kind of good, actually, and she had to secretly admit that she liked it.
"It's okayish, but you need practice." Aurora told him, and then made a face back. "Yea, well, you're the reason I'm here, cootiehead. I wouldn't be here if you didn't want me here!"

"Sure you would," he retorts, making yet another face. "You could have wormed your way in without me knowing or wanting it. I bet you do it all the time, to get on people's nerves.."
He glances at her ankle, his enthusiasm for teasing and arguing quickly and oddly fading from him. Whatever it was, the dream world was beginning to fade. Starting from outside, waaay away, the mountains melt to black..
Elijah looks back up at Aurora, guessing what was happening. Preparing to wake up, perhaps? He cocks his head at her, wondering offhandedly when the next time he'd see her would be. He wouldn't dare ask, though.
"You're just a stupid little girl~" he says in a musical tone, smiling with a goofy, happy overtone to his expression. "..~ who likes barging into other people's dreams. I bet you prolly requested to come in mind, JUST to bug me or sommat!" He crosses his arms, ignoring the fact that the darkness is slowly eating away at closer features of the dream world. "That's it, you're stalking me. Crazy, cootied girl.."
He shakes his head as if in an ashamed or embarassed way, but too obviously faked and joking to be taken seriously.

"I don't know how to worm my way into dreams, I don't even know how to get out of them again." Aurora shrugged, and added, "Besides, there are lots of people I'd rather go visit in my dreams! I wish I knew who to request to, I'd be not in here."
She felt less like teasing him as well, the dream starting to fade. It meant either he was moving onto a new one and she'd fall away into a new dream of her own or anothers, or he was waking up. In which case, she'd wake up too.
"It's normal, you're just moving along. You didn't think your mind would dream of this all night, did you? ...I should probably warn you, those on your face might hurt a bit when you wake. If you get them." Aurora grinned, and added, "So don't worry, little cootie boy, those widdle cuts will heal right over."
She tackled him again, ready to mess his hair... and fell right through him, as she awoke.
Aurora sat up straight in the new bed then, breathing in and out hard. Her leg thobbed with pain, and she sighed. Stupid dream. She didn't know how she'd explain the tattoo.

Elijah opens up his eyes as the morning light bothers them, streaming in through the window and landing directly on his pain-filled face. With a groan, he rises up and accidentally touches the sides of his face. They're slightly swollen, and absolutely throbbing in pain, being next to the tender skin of his eyes.
"s**t," he growls, jolting his hands back to the sheets and curling over to bear the stinging after agitating the new tattoos. ".. She's gonna get it for this.."
Groggily, he throws back the sheets. From his still tired eyes he can see that Tobias has already evacuated his bed, meaning it's sometime between noon and whenever. Trudging to the joint bathroom, he clasps both hands down on the counter before even glancing at the mirror.
Slowly, after a deep yawn followed by a wince, he raises his head to the mirror.
And stares, now wide-eyed and obviously awake, at the results.
This... will take some getting used to, he concludes, turning his face to the side to get a better look. Definately some getting used to..

Sevati followed her instincts to the Tolcher residence, somehow coming to the correct window and landing on the sill, hooting louder than usual as a greeting. When no one answered right away, she began to tap on the window until someone did come and let her in with her letter.
Between her talons was the string attached to the letter, which had once been around her neck, taken off in irritation at a 'pitstop' during the trip.
Once taken from her, Sevati hooted and flew away to do some much needed hunting and snacking. She would return later when needed by Elijah again.
The letter reads:Letter to Elijah 'Lijah- Eh, I don't really write letters much but you said to do it, so here I go, it's not like I have much better to do anyways. I've already thrown all of my knives and they're all adorning the wall. Anyways, thanks for coming over and visiting me even though the drugs started fuzzing my brain towards the end of the visit, don't really remember you leaving. Oh! I'm getting the walking cast put on tomorrow, so I'll be able to crutch around and get the ******** out of this house on my OWN. Maybe you can come visit again, so I can oogle your tattoos off of the major drugs. I told Sevati to wait for your response before coming back, so just whistle for her when you're done if you leave her outside. But.. if you let her inside, make sure to let her out to hunt or she'll eat a family pet I'm sure. Um... I don't know what else to write, I'm not too good with this letter writing thing. I'd much rather train or something more my style. Eh, hope this is good enough for your feathery a**. Get out more, and I'll see you soon hopefully. -Zanna P.S. Someone snapped this of me and I thought I'd show you, don't really wanna keep it since I'm not keen on staring at pictures of myself. Burn it if you want, it's yours.

Sevati arrived in no time and immediately and frantically began pecking on the window, note attached to leg, which was being lifted as she hooted to match her pecking.Note Birdy-
I need to see you tonight. It's important. Follow the map on the back and meet me there at 5pm. I'll be waiting.
