Kilik looked his father once more over, making sure it was him. He felt his heart do a backflip as he ran over and wrapped his arms around his dad. "Dad!" he cried out, "I thought I'd always come home and you'd be out digging up something!" Flareon barked happily.
"Its all right," he said, "I noticed that Eevee has evolved into a very healthy looking Flareon."
Kilik always loved the sound of his dad's voice. It was calm and soothing, yet he could get his point across without having to be too forceful. Weezing let out its fumes, as if wanting attention from them. The boy waved the fumes away, then looked at his dad. "Yeah, that's Weezing for you," he laughed.
"Why a Weezing, son?" he asked him, looking at the purple Pokemon, "They can't be that reliable. They're not too bright and they smell so...bad." He coughed, waving some of the smoke away.
Weezing had evidentially taken offense to this, floating over and spitting some sludge into the man's face. It then spewed out massive clouds of green smoke and floated away, barking angerly.

Glancing over the side of the building Norman tried to find which side it would be easier to jump down from. Groaning a bit to himself he eased himself over one of the side's before dropping five feet to the ground. Getting up he dusted himself off before going into the gym and passing by all the other trainer's he made his way to the now repaired larger room. "Well the roof is fixed for now." He said with a smile at Mike. "I suppose you can leave if you want now.

Keegan did a circle of the island, feeling more and more worried as he turned up no trace of Kasiya. Frustrated, he grabbed a stone and hurled it into the water. "I've done something to upset her, I know it," the boy grumbled, sitting down in the sand. He hugged his knees to his chest and stared out at the crashing waves. "I should just forget it," he reasoned aloud. "She can take care of herself. She'll find me when she needs to." He'd managed to make himself feel a little better, although he waited the waiting game. "For now, I should just concentrate on my next badge. I'll head back, talk to Mr. Briney, and see if he'll give us a ride to Slateport City..." He moped for a few more minutes before he stood up, brushed the sand from his pant legs, and made his way back into town. On the bright side, once he reached Mauville, he'd be able to have his Acro Bike repaired.

Bidding the Gym Leader farewell, Mike left the Gym with a better appreciation for Normal types. "I'm not saying I'll get one on my team or anything, but I'll try to be more accepting in the future." Portabello listened intently, recalling his fight with the Zangoose.
All admit, I was very surprised with the speed and power of that Zangoose. The Breloom gave a delighted chrip as he replayed the battle in his mind, lightly punching and kicking the air.
The boy shrugged at he contined on a path to no where in particular. He wondered where Kasiya had gone, he would have liked to have that practice match he asked for so long ago.

After a few second's on Apollo's back Dante reached where Scott and Meowth were talking. Stopping Apollo in front of them he reached down and plucked Meowth from the ground and ignoring his protests gave a small salute to Scott. "Were off on our next adventure Scott but it was nice seeing you again." He said with a smile, He wasn't quite sure how he was going to get off this island but he could find a way.
Before he could leave though Scott reached up and stopped him. "Here I want you to take these, it will allow you to get to and from the island as many times as you want. You and your mother are always guests here." He said handing him a Frontier Pass. Dante smiled at him and took them great fully before placing them in his satchel. "Oh yeah and if you see any strong trainer's give them these." He said handing Dante five more passes though these ones were blank.
Smiling again Dante thanked Scott before Apollo took off towards the port as a streak of grey. Once they reached there he placed Apollo back in his pokeball knowing the fire horse didn't like water and got on the boat flashing his ticket and telling them that they would like to be dropped off at Slateport.

Mai bit her lip so hard it bled a little. She grit her teeth and uttered a quick apology, making sure her voice sounded sincere. 'Ungrateful?!' she thought, nearly outraged. I've dedicated possibly the best years of my life to serving him and he has the nerve to call me ungrateful!? She closed her eyes, and calmed herself. She knew how her boss could get when things didn't go right. He'd gone out of his way to take care of her when she needed it, and she would never forget the rare kindness given to her by the mighty leader of Team Rocket.

The man drummed a ring finger on the top of his desk. The silence on the other end of the line, excluding her apology, was answer enough for him. He sighed heavily. "Well, Mai...I entrusted you with a mission I thought you could accomplish alone." He gripped the PokeNav tightly and then loosened it.
"Must you always have lackeys to aid you?" he asked, "Have I not trained you to be part of the most elite trainers Team Rocket has to offer?" his temper was rising slightly at this point.

Mihoshi let herself out of her Pokeball, and fluttered near Nina for a moment, before she landed on her lap. Nina smiled slightly at her Pokemon, and held it close to her. "I said that I would come back to Johto to collect the remaining badges," Nina said to her Togetic. "That could be one thing I could do... But I also want to expand my Pokemon collection. I believe if I do that, though, I'll be travelling quite a bit and it's unlikely I'll see my friends all that much... but I guess the same can be said if I were to collect the remaining badges." She rubbed her temples with the index and middle fingers of both hands.
Finally, she asked Mihoshi, "What do you think I should do?" The Pokemon wore a contemplative expression on its face. A few moments later, it chirped and trilled, and Nina flashed a small smile. "You think I should collect more Pokemon?" Mihoshi nodded, and her trainer smiled. "That sounds good to me. And, maybe Sabrina will want to come along with me. That would be nice, too."
Setting Mihoshi on the ground as she got up, Nina stretched her arms and started to walk back home, Mihoshi fluttering beside her. She was still wearing the white dress she had purchased, and a small breeze blew that ruffled the bottom of it.

At first, meaning to lend a hand, Kasiya followed Mike towards the gym, but soon found herself veering off and wandering east. A signpost read "Oldale Town --->" and she found herself following the path. Rosemary walked along beside her, jumping through the tall grass and making excited noises each time she hopped back into view.
"Why are you so adorable?" Kasiya giggled, and picked up the baby in order to give her a cuddle.
"Adorable, yes, but that's gotta be the wimpyest Pokemon I've ever seen!" came the voice of a young boy from a nearby tree. He stepped into view, with his arms folded across his chest. "Does that thing even know how to fight?" He laughed loudly and obnoxiously.
"I beg your pardon?" Kasiya said sharply, turning to give a vicious glare at the boy. This only made him laugh louder. Rosemary looked up at Kasiya, not really understanding what was being said. She did, however, sense anger in her trainer's voice, and the small grass Pokemon glared at the boy too.
"I think you heard me," the boy went on. He had one leg crossed over the other and wore a smug look on his face. "I bet that thing wouldn't last ten seconds against my Pokemon."
Kasiya raised an eyebrow. "Oh really."

Nina walked back inside of her house, and met back up with Annika, Xavier, and Sabrina. She smiled somewhat, before she announced her plans. "I think that what I'm going to do," she said, Mihoshi fluttering beside her, "is that I'm going to travel around and expand my Pokemon collection." She averted her gaze from her parents toward her sister. "Sabrina, I was wondering if you would like to accompany me during that time. I'm not sure how long it is that I'll be gone, but I'd love for you to come with me."
Sabrina smiled at her younger sister. "Nina," she said, "of course. I would love to go with you. When would you like to leave?"
"I know this is sudden," Nina said, "but I would like to leave tomorrow morning. And I know that I want to head northward, through the Ice Path and maybe to the Lake of Rage." Sabrina nodded.
The rest of the day, Nina and Sabrina spent time with Annika and Xavier. The talked mainly of their adventures together, and seemed to leave no single detail unmentioned. They covered almost every topic from meeting for the first time to stopping Kilik when he was still working with Team Rocket, to the battle on Five Island. Morning came sooner than Annika and Xavier would have liked, but they bid the girls farewell after talking some more during breakfast.

Dante settled himself down on the deck of the large boat with Meowth balancing on his shoulder as he looked out at the ocean. "So Meowth what do you think that we should do?" Dante asked curiously, he wasn't quite sure what he wanted to do but he was feeling restless. Almost like he had something to do but didn't know what it was yet.
Thinking about it for a moment Meowth suggested. "Well I would think that we should go on your quest for the legendary pokemon." He looked down at the beautiful feather that fluttered in the wind slightly. It supposedly was the feather of Ho-oh the legendary bird that Dante had met in the Tin Tower. "Either that or you could give out those passes that Scott gave you."
Dante thought about that, it was true but he didn't know that many strong trainers other then gym leaders, there was Mitsu but she was supposedly busy right now. Suddenly a thought struck him, 'Mitsu did give me Kasiya's number. She is a strong trainer.' He pulled out his pokenavi and stared at it for a few moment's. The problem was he didn't know her that well, that and the fact that he had no reception out here. Sighing he slipped it back into his satchel and moved back to sit on one of the deck chairs. The boat was going to slow for his liking, "What we need is the ability to use Fly." He said to Meowth.
"You also need a pokemon that can learn it." Meowth shot back.
"That’s not a problem, when Bahamut evolves then she will be able to use Fly. Though I don’t know when that will be though." He finished with a sigh.

"Yes, really," the boy replied, not straying an inch from his place under the tree. He eyed Kasiya coldly.
"Fine then," Kasiya said, a grin appearing across her face. She decided to call the youngin's bluff, "you're on!" She set Rosemary on the ground. "Get ready!" she told the Pokemon, who jumped around in reply.
"That's what I like to see," the boy grinned. It was plainly obvious that the kid, rather than politely asking for a battle, had to provoke one instead. He stepped forward, and tossed a blue and white sphere - a Great Ball. A silver and black-coloured Pokemon was released, and it looked around with bright blue eyes, ready for battle.
Kasiya blinked, and pulled her PokeDex out of her pocket. She flipped open the slender red machine with one hand, curiosity getting the better of her.
"Aron, the Iron Armor Pokemon. This Pokemon is clad in steel armor that protects it from physical blows. A new shell of armor is created upon evolution, and the old, discarded steel is salvaged as metal for making iron products."
"A steel type, then," she mused, closing the machine and slipping it back into her pocket. She felt it clatter against her PokeNav as she did so. Steel types mean physical attacks, she grinned to herself. And physical attacks mean Rosemary can use Counter. But first... Okay Rosemary! Start things off with a Leech Seed!"
The small grass Pokemon was more than happy to comply, the small green buds that adorned her neck each sprouted, and were then launched at the small Iron-clad Pokemon. The seeds found their way into the crevaces of the armor, and would soon be helping to keep Rosemary healthy. The boy, in turn, ordered the little Aron to protect itself with an Iron Defence. The small Pokemon's body glowed with a metallic sheen as its Defence stat was greatly raised.

Nina and Sabrina were fast approaching the Ice Path. Nina smiled a little bit and said, "I haven't been in here in such a long time... It's really nice to be home, you know? I feel really comforted being able to see so many familiar things."
"I know what you mean," Sabrina replied. "It feels sort of like a security blanket of sorts... well, for me at least. I remember I was gone for such a long time from Saffron City that when I finally went back, it was like... I got a kind of warm, fuzzy feeling."
Nina smiled and nodded in agreement. The girls kept walking, and after a short time they had arrived at the Ice Path. The blue-haired girl rubbed her nose, and said, "I really shouldn't be going in here with a dress on. I know I'll freeze." Sabrina laughed a little bit. "Your fault. And, how come you want to go in here? Any specific reason?" Nina shrugged a little bit. "I've always been fond of this place-- here and Dragon's Den-- and plus, it leads to the Lake of Rage. That's probably another favorite place of mine."
Nina took a deep breath, and she and Sabrina walked into the cave. Sakura freed herself from her Pokeball a moment before the girls entered.

Kasiya clenched her fists, practically ready to call for Rosemary to use Counter, but something inside her held back. Not just yet... it said, and she nodded to herself. "Use Razor Leaf!" the girl cried. Rosemary lurched forward, swinging the leaf on her head sharply. Two razor-sharp leaves were thrown forward, and they slashed across Aron's body in a criss-cross. Two cuts appeared on its armor-plated hide, but the Aron showed no sign that it had even been hurt.
"Use Headbutt!" the boy cried, pointing at the little Chikorita. Aron gave a growl and charged forward, gaining quite an amount of speed for something so small and heavy. It rammed its head into Rosemary's side, knocking her back slightly. She felt some of her life force return as the Leech Seeds did their job, and Kasiya winced. It looked as though the Aron could dish out more damage than she thought.
"Use Growl!" the girl called, hoping to lower the attack rating of Aron. Rosemary growled cutely, which seemed to do the trick. Meanwhile, the boy called for another Iron Defence. This little Pokemon was turning out to be a mini-fortress on legs.

Mai grimmaced, and closed her eyes, trying her hardest not to bite down on her already bleeding lip as Giovanni spoke. Most people wouldn't have noticed, but she could hear his temper starting to flare. Now she didn't actually have a plan when she'd let Kilik escape, but she had been graced with the ability to think on her feet. "It's not that, Sir," she said, turning her gaze in the direction of the Pokemon Center she'd left not too long ago. "He wasn't there. At the present time, his location is unkown." She bit her lip again as she waited for him to respond, trace amounts of both fear and guilt starting to creep through her veins.
