James sighed while shooting an icy glare at Lupin. He then turned back to Aryn and smiled weakly. "Lets just say I live with two morons, though I would never call one of them particularly a moron to his face ....
They are my company .. friends. They usually start some kind of trouble without even trying, the one down there is Lupin ..."
Lupin twitches and shouted towards Jamed. "I am NOT an idiot... im special. There is a difference you know." He scurried off towards the bar hoping for a drink.

Aryn noded silghtly and turned his gaze down to his hands "I live..wi.with a friend of mine as well." He watched as Lupin scurried off and then look back at James. "He's..Not a moron, but can be ju..just alittle slow at times." The werefox bit down on his lower lip now thinking in deep thought.

James laughed a bit. "They arent.. dumb. They are interesting at the vert least. I would never wish harm on them no matter how much chaos they can sometimes make." He looked at Aryn a little puzzed. "Something wrong?"

Step up the plate his own mind hissed at him and it, causing his own laugh to come even if it wasnt loud. "W..would you like to come down to the restraunt with me?" His good eye twinkled mischiviously. While he was shy, it was about damned time to get out of this little confinded shell. Fayt was always telling him he needed to get out more, and smile for once. What could it hurt? The white fox ears twitches slightly listening to the band that had began playing, they sounded as proffessional as bands could when it was only their 3rd time playing live.

James was shocked at the sudden offer from Aryn. "Yes, I would like that actually." He glanced down to Lupin who was currently contemplating another grand theft and chuckled. "I have a strange feeling he wont mind, besides he will most likely come home drunk and have me tuck him in anyway." He got up and pushed the stool in and gave a hand to Aryn to help him up. "Shall we?"

Aryn silently shook his head at himself, he was suprised too. But another part of him. One that had been growing for the last month or more was ok with it all. For this he suddenly smacked his forehead alittle embarssed. "I need..t.to stop by my place to pick up some money." He smiled sheepishly, luckily the apparment he shared with Fayt was very much so in walking distance. "I..I could meet you if you don't want to walk." The werefox glanced up at James finally letting his bad eye in sight. The gesture wasnt something he'd have done normally.

"Dont worry about money at all, im sure we can manage." He smiled then looked towards Lupin once more. "Excuse me for a moment would you Aryn? I wont be long at all"
He walked over to Lupin and dragged him away from another unsuspecting victim. After a few minutes and noise barely heard over the band James could be seen smiling before smacking the crap out of Lupin and taking a 50 from his pocket.
He walked back to Aryn and scratches his head. "Um .. he deserved it anyway from stealing it in the 1st place..um..yes..."

His silver eyes blinked a few times but he took it in stride, ok that worked too. "A..All to true." He let out a small giggle and then redirected them towords the restraunt near by. Aryn admited this to himself he felt alittle more light at heart walking beside this nearly complete stranger. While his two good friends made him feel similar this was just south of alittle diffrent. Not something he could explain. At least that well.
"Thank you again." Aryn also added as they entered into the doors that asked they pull not push. The fox had kept walking and was met with a suprise when he almost got frustrated with pushing at the door. He tried to pass that off like he so knew the diffrence.
There waiter arrived to ask if they wanted anything to drink as he handed out the menu's running over the speacilities of the evening. Not to worry they were open 24/7, and if something wasnt on the menu they'd like just let him know.
Aryn taped the heels of his boots against the booth scanning with his good eye over the menu curiously. He peered at James "I ju.just realised are you new in town?" While the werefox wasnt all that much of a "old beeie" himself he'd been in and around Fayt and the anthro shop enough to realise James was certainly more recent that he.

James glanced at the menu and eyed something that seemed good.
"New? Hm.. I guess you can consider me new to this place. I just moved here with my friends. Long story you see ... Lupin isnt a bad friend but he was the main reason we had to move." He laughed slightly then hid behind the menu this time looking at the drinks. "
You know, I wasnt expecting to actually talk to anyone at that bar. I was asked to pick up someting actually. I live with two people that I suspect to get get a blood test and discover that their blood has turned into pure acohol. I cant complain too much, I drink plenty myself. The bad think about me is my near inability to actually get drunk, it kills the point dont you think?" He blinked and looked up from the menu deciding to finally shut up

Aryn noded slightly, he could relate. While Fayt frowned heavily on Aryn's drinking the werefox still did as much. "I know.. The feeling. After I got into better living arrangments I went right back into my own drinking habbits." He selected his own dinner arrangments as he paused. "Believe me..I actually do u..understand." He shifted his gaze onto the waiter momentarily as he came back around, and in turn orderd himself a coca cola with no ice. He ordered a mushroom burger and then returned his attention fully to his companion.
The waiter was patient, and held his pen in his palm poised over the pad of paper waiting for the anthro squrriles order.
Aryn bit down on his lip figgeting, while he was trying his best to not be, he couldnt help it. Meeting new people was often a very daugnting task for the werefox. This just toped it. At least we seem to get along...Right? He silently asked no one.

James apologized to the waiter and placed his order finally.
"Hm, relate? I had to move asross the country to avoid the police. You try living with a dedicated theif. I think the only reason Spike agreed to come insead of turning him in was mainly due to the fact things are cheaper down here than where we were."
He stared at Aryn then played with his fork a bit.
"You know .. thank you. For putting up with me for at least tonight. I would have eventually gone insane without someone to talk to"

Aryn's inner thoughts were black, ugly and tainted. The past not something he ever really should touch on, it was ment to be locked in a little box labled "Get the f*ck away from me" Regardless if he shared the same story with James he understud termoil. "Thank m.me? I should thank you. You could hav.have easily walked away and exnored me." He offered James a small smile even if he would or wouldnt see it. "I'd be willing to talk so long..a.as you dont mind me." When the waiter came with his ordered drink he smiled appricativly and widdled with opening the straws packaging only to fiddle with the straw some to keep his hands from figgeting to much.

"Of course I dont mind you, I dont mind you at all. I agreed to come with you here after all didnt I? I didnt feel like walking away when I rememered your face, that would have been rude anyway."
James smiled and startingtapping is knee up and down repeatidly against the bottem of the table.
"So um .. I guess we wait now?"

Aryn noded with a sheepish smile "I..I guess so. I'm glad though." His silver eyes shifted to simply blink at the pace at which there order was being delt with. This restraunt was noted for it's fast paced service.
A slight frown passed over his face but he waved away the frown more metally so to speak, "A.After dinner do you have plans?" He wasnt sure what the hell he ment by that, only that he enjoyed James company and wouldnt like to part ways.
