Ruben purred happily at his brother's embrace, and grinned over his shoulder. He couldn't help himself. Straightening his face, he coughed softly to clear his throat. "I missed you too, Jadey.." He said softly, pretending as if it was nothing and he had been talking his whole life. Though his voice was still a little creaky..

Jaden's jaw dropped and he hugged his brother tighter." You can talk. Oh Ru im so happy." He snuggled into his brother. " When did this happen? Does mom know?"

Ruben giggled at his brothers response, hugging him back. "Just now. Mom does know.." He said softly, purring gently. "Dad dosn't though.."

Jaden hugged Ruben again. " He'll be so happy! IM happy." He could hear his brothers voice for the first time. " I cant wait! we should celebrate i have cookies."

"Cookies!" His voice suddenly squeeked, still under strain from lack of use. He covered his mouth and couldn't help but giggle childishly, before turning back to drink his tea.

" I have several different kinds." Jaden said setting the box down on the table and opening it. " There's oatmeal raisin and peanut butter then there is chocolate chip and ginger snaps." Jaden said listing off the different kinds of cookies.

Ruben licked his lips at the various flavours, before picking up a plain choclate chip, nibbling on it to savour the taste. He loved these cookies, where ever he got them from, they were the best.

Jaden smiled. " Emmy makes the best cookies, I was lucky that i called today cause he didn't have as many orders to fill." He said sitting down so he could eat a cookies.

Jaden thought about it for a moment. " As a friend. I couldn't see us like that together." He smiled and munched on his cookie. " He likes big guys, but he's sworn off them at the moment."

"Ah.." He blushed slightly, a little embarassed that he had asked. It was actually tricky this talking thing.. saying the right things was tricky. "but.. at least you're friends." He said with a nod and a smile.
