Artue ladyavila Artue ladyavila I got ya all beat! I'm 23, LOOK like I'm 16 and ACT like I'm 12. Okay so maybe that's not such a good thing. But I look young, and since I got my hair cut short I'm told I look even younger. eek Man I feel old right now. sweatdrop As long as we're saying how old we are and how old we feel (and stuff), here's my addition: I'm 26 years old and, owing to my 4'10" in height, people always say I look 13! Oh yah, and I feel like a 10 year old! xd Ofcourse . . that may have been affected by the constant verbal pecking of others who said "why are you still watching cartoons at 'your age'?" Hah! With all the smut on prime time tv these days I say I'm proud to say that I spend my time watching the 'boys' (I'm sure you know who I mean there 3nodding ), Yu Gi Oh!, Shaman King and the rest. My only lament from childhood at the moment is that I have no Voltron to remember it by! I loved that show, too! ( Almost as much as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!) How's that for my very first post in the Guild? smile Soooo, how many times have you gotten in trouble (okay, maybe not gotten in trouble but "been asked") why you weren't in school on a school day? *L* It's happened to me several times and I KNOW I can't be the only one! I LOVED Voltron too, have you seen the new comics? I think they're great and best of all they made Pidge look like a GUY instead of a little girl. *L* I spent many hours of my childhood trying to convince people that yes, Pidge was a boy. eek There's a comic! gonk I had no idea! Where have you been able to find it!?Well for a while they carried it at Books A Million but they stopped so I have to go to a comic book shop now. Last I checked (I'm behind) they were on the second series which is drawn differently than the first and frankly I like it better. Pidge looks a little like a mole/hobbit creature in the first set. *L* Still I love it. I don't remember a lot of the original storyline though so I don't know how closely they're following to it.

CrazyRob So, where does everybody live? I was born in NY but now live in FL I was born and raised in Maryland. I'm on the east coast! Mystic, I can relate to you, I cannot stand the heat either... Now that winter's here, I'm lovin' it! For me, moving to Alaska seems appealing... however, Alaska has a strange day and night cycle. (half of the year it's light, and half of the year it's dark). I'd have trouble adjusting! whee

CrazyRob so you mean alaska has periods when there is no darkness at all for like 6 months? i don't think i could live there then. *huggles the night* Yes, it is very strange... In Alaska, during the winter, many people wear bright lamps over their heads so they don't become depressed... since it's so dark and gloomy for six whole months. Moods can sort of correlate with the weather; when it's bright and sunny, one is usually happy and vice versa when it's raining and dark. I wonder how people sleep during the "day" there too!

Sounds like it would have a tourist season defined by the climate. I guess people can adjust their sleeping patterns.

They have so much HP! I find it hard to sleep during the day... I was never one to take naps during the day and always had to sleep in a dark setting. I guess changing one's sleep patterns is do-able, especially if it correlates to a job that requires a time shift, or daily living such as in Alaska.
