She looked over to her cousin with a sharp glare. Smiling at Lupis as she followed her outside with the cloths.
"I know what your thinking and no he wasn't joking. Tuomas is a male and has a deep need to be dominant. Our history has been intertwined in a horrible fashion. I do love him as my cousin but my hate for him runs just as strong. We've always been in competition with one another..and the only way one of us is ever going to win is if the other dies."
Luna spoke as if it was nothing new to her. Then again..it really wasn't. But she didn't mind either. Having Tuomas around ment keeping herself sharp and always on the edge for attack. Atleast this way she was less likely to find herself in a bad situation.
Tuomas watched the girls leave and made himself abit more comfortable. Bringing his hand up to his face he cupped his chin and went over the days events..he hadn't been able to catch his cousin at a disadvantage..and surely wasn't going to attack her infront of a bunch of women..he had to think of a way to bring her down...

Lupis processed the information. "I used to be like that, when i was on the streets. Now i'm afraind i've gotten a little lax with good feeding." She said laughingly. Then she sobered "I could sense that, maybe thats why I was repeled by him. I suppose it was...animal instinct." She said lightly. Making her way through the vegetable patch she had to stop several times to keep vines and branches from twining up her legs. They made it to the washing place, which didn't have a maching but was old fashioned. "I'm sorry." she said "This is all I have. I couldn't afford a machine." She said, embarassed that her guest would have to wash with her by hand.

Luna nodded and followed alongside Lupis. Being wary of the plants before they got to the old washing machine. She just turned to Lupis with a smile.
"Don't worry about it. I know how to use one of these."
Luna set the cloths down and got everything ready. Filling it up with nice warm water and some soap. She put the washboard into it and sat down. Starting with Kuros shirt she gripped it tightly and began to run it over the washboard. She handled it with abit more expertise then one would expect. It really wasn't to hard for her.
"My cousin's always been that way. We met for the first time in an arena. Pitted against one another in battle. We fought hard but neither of us won. And my cousin demands perfection for himself and those around him. Which is why he is so obsessed with beating me. But thats not a problem. I know he won't ever get the better of me. Besides if he does manage to kill me I'll thank him."
Luna's eyes went abit dull. Seeming to remember something painful as she continued washing the cloths.

Lupis saw the dull look in Luna's eye. She went along side Luna, hoping to comfort her with her presence. She wished that perhaps she could do more, but what would she say? That she was sorry that Luna's brother was a cocky dominate self serving b*****d? That wasn't enough. "You know, I have this charm, it was given to me by my master a while ago. It can tell when someone around you is about to attack. Perhaps it will help."She took a small crystal swirling with a blue mist from a pouch hanging from her neck. She pressed it in Luna's hand. She would miss it, but Luna needed it more than her now.

"Hmn?"
Luna blinked and looked over at Lupis who had put the charm into her hand. Luna's eyes immediatly snapped back to normal when she heard the word Master..that word filled her with such distaste...but she looked to Lupis and saw that the word ment something different for her. Luna just smiled and took Lupis hand. Setting the charm back into her hand with a smile.
"No Lupis you keep it. I can tell this is one of the few things you have left from your Master. While that word fills me with disgust I can tell that your Master must have ment the world to you. And from you being here without him I take it something bad must have happened to seperate you two. I don't know what but I know what its like to loose someone very close to you. Its happened to me more then once. I'd give anything to have something to remember them by so I cannot take this charm from you. Though believe me I am very flattered that you offered it to me."
Luna turned and began to work once more. Finishing with the shirt she then started on the pants.
"Besides Tuomas may be sly but he hasn't been able to catch me off guard yet. My ears are very sensitive. I keep them tuned to all the noise and sound around me so I won't be caught off guard. And though what I said before may sound grim I stick to it. If he manages to kill me I'll be grateful to him. However that won't happen so you've no need to worry Lupis."
Luna looked over to Lupis and smiled at her again.
"I won't be going anywhere."

Lupis wanted to give it back, but something in Luna's eyes showed her she wouldn't accept it. She curled her hand around it and returned it. "Yes I loved him very much." She said softly, her eyes a desolate deep black. Fragments of memories flashe din her mind; the natives dragging them out, her master being tied to the staked and doused with gasoline, him sacrificing himself for her. Her soul had long ago hardened, yet thinking of him made a few tears leak out, and she hurredley scrubbed vigorously inot a shirt to hide it. She looked at Luna and smiled "I feel bad for the cat that tries to tangle with you, you are one tough alleycat." She said as she grinned her strange feral grin.

Luna watched Lupis intently..seems the two had something in common.
"I see...so then he is dead...Thats alright..so is mine..I suppose thats something we have in common..By the look on your face I take it you watch his death just like I did mine...I hope you made those bastards pay for what they did..."
Luna listened to Lupis and smiled at what she called her laughing abit.
"I've had to be tough. I fear that I've got more of a males personality then a females. Like males I don't cry. I find it to be a sign of weakness. And I am incredibly stubborn. Often times I find myself hiding from my feelings. I've hardened myself into this shell that you see. I can see you've done abit of the same. From the deepest part of my heart I must say that I am sorry for whats happened to you."

"I think we are going to get along fine then, seeing as I am hopefully stubborn and don't have a trace of feminism in my body." At this she gave a bark of laughter. "The boys at one of the homes i lived it used to throw stones at me and call me 'loopy Lupis'. Eventually I rallyed the town gangs and managed to beat the living crap out of the snot nosed turds. Week later I was sent away. Never regretted it." She chuckled at the memory. "The way I see it you might as well grasp the moment and look at the silver lining at things, other wise your heart shrivels up and dissapears." She said. "You know what Luna, I hope we become friends. I'm almost sure we'll be. Because we are both bound by pain and suffering and yet we have survived. We are strong neh?" She looked at Luna with mischevious yellow eyes. "If you ever need me send me a howl. I will come. Count on that." Neatly folding the clothes besides her she said "So shall we hand these up?"

Luna listened to Lupis and nodded. She stood up and began to hang Kuro's cloths up on the line.
"I agree with you Lupis. Though I already consider you abit of a friend. Actually you and Razz and Mitsuki..and that other man are the first people I have met here. And I've been here for a few days. I'm glad you beat the snot out of that little turd."
She hung up Kuros shirt first and then started with his pants.
"I think my hearts already shrivled up. I don't think I'll ever be falling in love again. Though if I may ask, what was the name of your Master?"

Mitsuki snored lightly, having fallen asleep some time ago without anybody noticing. Her blonde hair hung infront of her face, her slow breaths swaying it. Her face was tinted pink quite beautifully, and her arms were crossed. The angel wings on her back hung low and limp,a single feather from them lying on her lap. Her feet kept sliding back and forth like she was walking lazily up a wall.

Tuomas had drifted off into thought though snapped out of it when he heard Mitsuki sleeping. He looked over at her and pushed himself off the couch. Stepping over to the sleeping angel he gently picked Mitsuki up into his arms. Heading back over to the couch he laid her down upon it. Grabbing a nearby blanket and covering her up with it abit. Yeah Tuomas was an a** but he knew how to be nice to women. He then stepped back and took a seat on a chair. Looking over at Mitsuki and watching her sleep.

"Lucifer." She said it wistfully, a name that tasted sweet on her tongue. "I don't need love anyway, at least not in the sense of a man and women canoodling. Friend love, that I like. But not the kind of love that makes a girl weak kneed and irrational. I don't need that." She said as she hung clothing. "Besides, boys don't like me. I'm too angular, too sharp for them. I don't have a soft bone in my bodyWhich suits me just fine it does." She nodded as she set the clothes on the line.

She finished helping Lupis hang up the cloths and turned to look at her.
"I agree with you. All men seem to want is the princess..the weak little girl that they can protect. I won't hold it against them because I believe its got to do with the males need for superior dominance. I don't think most men even notice it. If I can find a guy that likes me the way I am I'll be surprised. Well now. Shall we go back inside. It seems to be getting abit late. I think we both need our rest for tomarrow. You never know what is going to happen after all. Though hopefully it doesn't concern that creepy guy that was watching the battle up in the tree."

She gave a bark of laughter. "You noticed him also? Looked like he was looking for a bit of bloodshed." She shook her head at the folly of men. "Men are...men. Hopeless they are. I say we stick them underground and only bring them out for breeding." She chuckled at the thought. "I agree, who knows what tomorrow holds, lets head in."

Luna smiled and laughed abit. She turned and headed back inside with Lupis.
"But men are beautiful Lupis. You must love to look at them. I do believe though that we should keep an eye out for that man. He did seem to want to watch bloodshed. Though he seems slightly interesting as well. I don't believe in good or evil. Atleast not on the typical sense of it. So for the moment I won't label him as anything."
