Utakan I like both men equally, but I have minor problems with the whole "well Raoul cries a lot" thing. The subject comes up enough outside the guild that I can get touchy with anyone on it. I agree. They are equal, to an extent. I've become so aggrivated by the "There's other versions?"/"There's a book?" things that I'll angrily rant to anyone who says that to me. To rant about it as I normally do(and also to prove my point), my friend bought the 2004 ALW, and when I mentioned OLC, she's like, "Ohh, there's other versions?" And of course, being my *coughobsessedPhancough* self, I ranted to her, and now she knows of the oddities(of insane Phans) and other versions of Phantom. (sadly, she still loves ALW. Wait, I don't mean sadly, I just don't like it as much as OLC. Fine, sadly to me then. I heart OLC!! Er...went off ranting again...I'll stop.)

The one version of Raoul I dislike is from the Rosen and Schierhorn version. He is, literally: Well, some random flash back should explain why we will fall madly in love when Christine and I see each other again, and off I shall take her!
Erik and Raul don't fight that much, either!

Hmn, never seen that one. It's pitiful how little a role Raoul is given.

It's good, but it was a smaller production than ALW, so a lot of parts were cut down significantly (Raoul included)
But they included the Persian!

And...onto another random rant: My friend bought 2004 ALW and said she saw McErik nearby! crying I still want it, and may never find it! (Right now, that's the only thing I still want. I can live without a plushie or Kay's book.)

But currently Bomba-chan has my book, and now owns the movie! She's turning into me! Only maybe a little less obsessed at the moment, but she'll come around. She even said, and I quote, "Yeah, don't worry. I'll be one [Phan] soon enough." So, it may not be too long now before we have a new member in the guild.

Then what were you talking about not having? The way you worded it, it sounded like you didn't own the movie.

Utakan Then what were you talking about not having? The way you worded it, it sounded like you didn't own the movie. I think the way I type, it made sense to me. No, I don't own McErik DVD. (at least that's what she said it might have been...it was a passing glance, and she saw the last name "Brightman"..of course I freaked at that and said "Sarah Brightman! Then it is Merik!"...she still doesn't know, and neither do I, and now I'm worse off than before...)

As far as I know, there is no DVD that contains a performance of Brightman and Michael. At least not a legit DVD anyhow. There's no legitimate taped version of them.

Brightman by herself has several DVD performances. Concert, mostly, though.

Well Brightman's a famous singer. Several CD's under her name. I'm not too sure about stage performances though.
