If your not going to post anything coherent or anything about Clotif then don't post here!!!! I won’t say it again!! She's right, Foo. This is a CloTi thread, and if you're gonna say crap like that, just keep it to yourself... Tanga.... Anyway, as for both your arguments on the CloTi subject... Look, Tifa and Cloud were NEVER childhood friends, let's just get that straight. The only reason for that, however, is because Cloud was very distrant from the other kids, so no one ever befriended him because he never tried. That counts on Tifa's case, too. Cloud had come to her, and that was their first interaction. Now, as for the Aeris subject... She ain't an exploiter, man. Hell, bet she doesn't even know what exploit even means, man.... Look, Cloud and Tifa were friends, but in reality, no one was really with each other, you know? The two were together, but were not technically dating yet. Aeris just really liked Cloud, and since she didn't see Tifa really going after him, she couldn't know that she had feelings for the spikey headed blonde. It's a really cold way to look at Aeris... She didn't know Tifa liked Cloud, I mean, Tifa never said anything about liking him in that way. She wasn't a b***h who just went into relationships to break Tifa and Cloud apart. She loved them both dearly as friends, and I'm sure that if Tifa had told her how she felt for him, then she would have stopped and rooted for them on the sidelines like a real friend would have. Yet, Tifa never said anything, so she continued only because she didn't know Tifa's feelings... -- I know this is a CloTi thread, big big big CloTi talking. Just kinda hurts me inside to see Aeris depicted in such a cold way... I just want to say this... Tifa and Cloud were not Childhood friends. They met as kids, and Tifa grew fond of Cloud from there. She could never say it to him outright, and when Cloud was far and distant, she was only naggy towards him in AC because she cared. Sort of like a tough-love situation, since she couldn't go lovey-dovey on him. I'm sure that the two will get together soon in the future, when Cloud learns to mourn for Aeris but to move on with his life and work towards the future with the girl who had wanted to be with him ever since he joined Soldier but couldn't until he was in Avalanche. Just my.. Damn this is a long post... Um... My $5.00 on this subject I have to disagree with you on the childhood friend thing. On the character guide with the original FF7 game it says that Tifa is Cloud's childhood friend. It also says this her KH2 bio and the Reunion Files. Also Tifa might not have said she loved Cloud to Aeris but Aeris isn't stupid she knew that Tifa had feelings for him. If you notes how they act toward each other at cretin times in the game their is obvious tension between them. And why just put just $5.00 on this subject why not just become a regular member. We could really use those. I don't see much tension between them. They're good friends, man. They both like Cloud, but you never saw any hate between the two because of it. It's just that, Aeris made her affections out, being somewhat flirtatious with our blonde hero. However, Tifa just kept it inside. Despite being so strong on the outside, she was very shy internally. Just saying, I'm a CloTi, but only if Cloud can learn to remember Aeris but move on with his life. And Tifa, herself, has to show her feelings more often. She has been more open with her feelings, as you can see in Advent Children, but still somewhat shy. Cloud, however, is learning to move on a bit, but still clinging to Aeris. Again, just gotta learn how to move on, and the two can find happiness with each other.... And what do you mean in the last part? 5.00 on the subjext, and beinga regular member? Wha? Well I saw some tension between them but maybe that's just me. And weather either of them knew the other liked Cloud neither of them were the type to hate the other over it. Here is what I see. When Aeris came onto the seen she had already talked to Cloud about Tifa and mentioned her name at least 4 different times so she already knew that their might have been something between the two. Never the less she seemed very inconsiderate of Tifa's feelings and then proceeds to flirt with Cloud in front of her. I just think it was kind of two faced of her to be Tifa's friend and yet flirt with the guy she knows that Tifa most likely likes. That's just my opinion. And yeah Cloud really needs to let go of his mother figure. Oh and by the last part I meant that you should just post here regularly because not many people do.

Just someone who is not a hater, but not a fan, you know? Eh, screw it... And I'll post here regularly, post some good fanfics and some pictures that you haven't put up. And please, please, just post pictures that are small. Don't post pictures that may stretch out the page, you know? Just anything that is less than 500 width. I really love CloTi, and, here is possibly my most favorite non hentai picture of them. Ooh! Somebody got schooled! Heheeheh...
Man, that last one with Tifa laying on the ground, I had that picture way back when I was 10... That picture was awesome!
And, I get your point on the "Cloud never loved Tifa," thing. It's all right if you support Cleris, I'm aight with that, just don't bag on other pairings to make your pairing look like the one-true-pairing. Because, that'w ehn I put holes in my walls and strive for days where I can drown people by hitting them with a stick and then drowning them in a pool ten miles away from Santa Clara.... Not that I've done the second one, anyway
Hate it when people do that, so I try so hard not to incorporate it in my explanations. Like my Yuffentine explanation, I never say Vincent never loved Lucrecia, hell, I said he did love her and he is mourning her death. Still, it is true that he moved on, and though he will remember her, Yuffie is the girl that loves him dearly right now...
Same with CloTi. The spikey haired kid has gotta learn to let go of the past and see what's in the present. Tifa has been with him, and though she's been giving him some tough love, it's still love. If he can just learn to find happiness in her and keep a special place in his heart and mind for Aeris, then everything's all good. It's all good....

why not hate me? xDHm... How can I put this so it doesn't make me look like I'm on either side.... Subject 1, RxH, is a rather large CloTi fan. She hates Aeris because she thought that she "barged into Cloud and Tifa's realtionship." When she sees stuff like Cleris, or pairings that have Tifa loving another character, it flares her up, much similarly to me when I see anti-Yuffie or anti-Tifa stuff, especially anti-Aeris stuff... When she read your reasoning on the TifAck pairing, I guess she just got bad because she believed that you were saying Tifa never loved Cloud, or vice-versa. Either that, or because it makes it sound like the CloTi coupling could never work at all. That hurts a lot inside, truly does. And from that hurt, it grows into hate, and the previous hate of Aeris Gainsborough grows and we got what we got right now. Basically, it's all a chain of hurt-pain-flame, you know? It's something I do a lot in life...

Wow, hostility... I'm starting to see people in a new light, an old light, and then back to the new light..
But, on the subject of CloTi.... I just got this to say... I saw a picture of Tifa after she has Cloud's children, and she starts to gain a little bit of weight, even when she looks like that she looks really cute. She looks really Asian, really... Plump cheeks, a smaller yet still large breast size like AC, and wideer stomache. But she still looks rather beautiful despite it, though not in a younge woman kind of way but an older mature woman kind of way...
I've seen pictures of Aeris and Sephiroth's daughters, I've even seen one of Yuffie and Vincent's daughter when she becomse a teen, but I've never found a picture of Cloud and Tifa's daughter.... I'd kill to find a picture like that, man!

Woah, Bras, chillax, man! Damn, I am freaking wasted....
Anyway, Um.... The whole not being romantic thing, I gotta know if you live in the U.S. or Japan. See, in Japan, the slightest stuff is actually more romantic than in the U.S.
In sleeping on someone's lap or shoulder, that seems like "eh, normal," kind of stuff. But, in Japan, if someone were to let you sleep on their shoulder, or even more the lap, that really shows that you truly like or love that person, as awkward and as subtle as it sounds.
Read it on Wikipedia, Inuyasha section, Kagome... K'Yeah...
Anyway, it's not as romantic as kissing in the rain, but it still counts as a romantic moment.

The SE thingy... Damn, that just proves my point. Look, I am not saying that Cloud should forget her, I am just saying that Aeris should hold a special place for her in his heart. She was a dear friend to everyone in Avalanche, and maybe even closer to Cloud than anyone else, but she died so that she may help her friends and the world.
Cloud really cared for her, and now that she's gone, he has to learn to deal with the past. Aeris died for him, but that doesn't mean he should keep all his thoughts and heart in her direction. Just remember and mourn, but learn to move on.
That way, Aeris is still in his heart, yet he can move on and find happiness where it had always been, where it always had been.... Where, she jumped into the lifestream just to bring him back to her... Where she continues to nag him not to make him feel bad, but because she truly cares for his well-being.
But, that's just my thoughts. Not like anyone cares or nothing

you want SE then here This is exactly what I was talking about. Your completely disregarding an obviously romantic moment between Cloud and Tifa. And I have also read the part about this on the love triangle site as well. I am very much aware of the changes to the dialog when Tifa has both high and low affection points. The only difference I see is that in the high points Cloud and Tifa seem to be more direct with their feelings where as the low points their less direct but either way that doesn’t change the romantic mood that is portrayed. All this says is that Aeris is in Cloud’s conciseness big whop. My mother or sister would be in my conciseness to if they died. Not to mention that Tifa would be in his conciseness just as much as Aeris if she had died. But anyway back to the Clotif topic. I have to find more pictures.

I saw it more as Tifa saying she had nowhere to go
and Cloud didnt really say anything to comfort or reassure her
the rest of the gang went their own ways and Cloud expected Tifa to do the same
she just stayed with him
of course Cloud wouldnt push her away
because they are friends!

When asked what "....." means to the Japanese
the response is that it means embarrassment, annoyance, irritation, surprise, etc.

but he clearly does not feel the same when he remains silent
However at the end
we see Cloud reaching for Aerith's hand at the beginning of the final FMV
Every FF game has a final FMV
However, the creators chose to include this moment between Cloud and Aerith in the FMV
The moment we see Cloud reaching for Aerith's hand is the only time in the game in which we see Cloud reciprocating the feelings of another Cloud reaches for Aerith first
and then Aerith's hand appears from the Lifestream
reaching for him

I posted mainly to show that
Cloud didnt think of Aerith just of guilt
he will always have a place in his heart for her
and its 'now lighter'

is when people think this implies Cloud and Tifa getting together

Woah, Bra, it's aight... I dunno where this is going, but I just gotta say this now that I've read your post...
I am not saying that the two will automatically fall in love. Hell, when Dad divorced mom, and was reunited with an old friend, they just hung out for 2 years before dating for 4, and eventually getting married today.
I am just saying, if CLoud learns to move on, then he can find love again. Tifa just needs to learn to be more open with her feelings, and she can at least tell Cloud she likes him openly.
I like to see them together, but like regular people, I don't think they're going to become totally serious and married for a couple of years. THere is chemistry between the two, there is a history between the two, and Tifa clearly has feelings for the spikey blonde. He cares about her in AC, even though it doesn't look like he does.
He stays distant from her because he doesn't want her to know that he has Geostigma. With all that has happened, and what is happening right now, that is the least she wants to hear from him.
