tawili stood still as she watched the Eland charge towards the hyena. she watched and then quickly began to walk towards them again, her head shaking softly and her head saying not to.

(Rats! My dad is making me go out for my brother's birthday. crying So sorry guys! I'll be back later, hopefully. *sniffles*)

Mizaku smiles brightly at Cyiari. He was just about ready to jump down there to see her better, but he was stopped dead when he saw the adult Hyena. His eyes widened and he crept to the corner of the branch. He knew the hyena wouldn't be able to hurt him up here....but what about his new freind?
"...Ciyari...are y'gonna be okay down there...?" he says, never taking his eyes of the hyena. His breaths began to be qtaken quicker and he backed up against the trunk of the tree.
"...you should run, Ciyari! While he's busy with the others!" the leopard recomended, turning is gaze to the lion again. He jumped to a lower branch and shook his head up and down.

Oga was pleased that she has nearly missed the hyena. Although, he was a predator, she hated seeing animals hurt. At that moment, she felt a sharp pain in her side from the hyena. She quickly turned around and ran into the brush away from danger. Though, she knew he could still smell her scent she didn't want to give up the opportunity of learning about the creatures she had spotted before and what was currently going on.

Ciyari watches, fascinated, as Banzai attacks Oga. She wonders if she'll be able to do that someday; and curses her small size. It's just not fair.

Right at the moment, however, it's coming in handy, since the adult hyena doesn't seem to have noticed her small silver form crouched against the roots of the tree. At Mizaku's words, she shakes head. "I wanna watch!" She says, stubbornly. Maybe there will be a meal afterwards for her...she's dreadfully hungry. A little mewl escapes the child.

But it'd be rather stupid to remain down here. Oga might run off, and Banzai might turn his attentions towards her. Regretfully, she slowly turns about, clamping onto the tree trunk with her claws, and clumsily starting to go up the tree. It's awfully slow going. She's awkward, at best, in a tree; she just isn't properly equipped for it, nor does she have the balance that practice brings. She's still a clutz up high.

Banzai was a happy canine. He hadn't killed the animal... Yet... But he'd managed to take a bite out of it. That was more meat than he'd had yesterday. Ahhh, how zesty... That one having run off, he decided to go for the one standing in the group still, stupid enough not to run off. But not before giving a pep talk to the little cubs surrounding him.

"Hey guys, how's it going? You guys all came just in time to join me for dinner! I'm ready for the main course now that I've finished my side." Shenzi would have loved that one... Ah well. Her loss. He began to approach Ciyari, she being the closest to the ground so far that he could see. She didn't have a father lying around, did she? He'd be in some trouble if so...

He sniffed at her, sending her fur wind-blown. Nope, didn't recognize any "great and powerful" father. However... Someone else had shown up. He turned around to find... A little hyena pup, wagging her tail and letting her tongue hang out. He blinked several times. "W-where'd you come from!?"

Mizaku watched the lion cub carefully, it was a good thing she was small or ellse climbing would be even harder. He stepped back from the trunk of the tree so she could climb on easier. He glared down at the Hyena again and wondered what he was doing "hunting"....aren't Hyena's scavangers.... he thought yo himself. He watched carefully, it was interesting however....to see a Hyena trying to catch a Oga.

Mizaku looked back at Ciyari and hoped she hurry so the Hyena wouldn't have a chance to get her. He moved to the tip of the branch so he could see the fight easier.
