The Pizza Guy Harvested Sorrow The Pizza Guy MetalHead76 Yes, I've always been a fan of the Black Sabbath distortion factor. I learned "Paranoid" on the guitar, but have since forgotten it. It sounded really bad, though, because I didn't have an electric when I learned it. I should get back on that now that I have mine. Anyways, I'm hoping for a large amount of CDs this Xmas. The list for my aunts was pretty much all CDs, concert/rock DVDs, and biographies and poetry books by rock and roll icons. The original Black Sabbath cd has great distortion, but Sabbath Bloody Sabbath doesn't.I am wholely disappointed.Bah, Sabbath, Bloody Sabbath rules anyway. xp And the title track arguably has the greatest opening riff ever. True, and I still like it,but I want distortion *pouts*Yeah, but what can I say? You have to take it for what it is.

Animals is quite awesome. I believe it's "Dogs" that I remember most?
Anyways, I won't be here Dec. 2-5, for I am heading out to NYC. I hope to visit the 3-story Virgin Records store and maybe return with some awesome purchases.

Those stores are quite expensive, this is why I do my shopping at Wal-mart.

True, but the selection available at them compared to Wal-Mart must be kept in mind... xp Personally, if I'm going to shop offline, I'll stick to Best Buy for the most part....it has the best combination of price and selection for me. Albeit, I do find myself heading to Wal-Mart from time to time, but that's just because there's literally nowhere else here to go.

Most stores around here don't sell Satriani and Zappa, but the Wal-mart does.

I would like to add that I got these albums off of a gift card, so I had no other choice to buy at.
Usually when I want to find albums not sold in stores, I buy them at Amazon.com(despite the expensive prices).

I haven't bought anything related to music in quite a while. I only have two choices to buy my music from, Wal-Mart or Hastings. Hastings is expensive and I'm afraid I'll accidently buy an edited album at Wal-Mart.

Most stores around here don't sell Satriani and Zappa, but the Wal-mart does. The Wal-Mart here has Satriani's newest album...and I WISH they sold Zappa...ironically enough, they have some albums here and there from more "obscure" classic rockers like Neil Young and Alice Cooper...yet, they usually don't have more than two or three Pink Floyd albums in stock at a time.

(which is often the case) However, I usually buy from sellers at Amazon to get cheaper prices, rather than buying directly from Amazon.

Hastings is expensive and I'm afraid I'll accidently buy an edited album at Wal-Mart. xd I've been to Hastings two or three times....some stuff was very over-priced, but I got some really good deals on some things. (Alot of the things there were at least $3 to $5 cheaper than at Best Buy) and they had a great selection, for an offline store. And if you're worried about buying an edited CD from Wal-Mart...just check it before you buy it, it usually tells you that it's edited in two or three places. xp

Hrm.My Wal-Mart has a pretty nice selection. But I prefer Tower Records because it always has 25% off classic rock CDs.I saw Paranoid for 4.99,but I already had it.

Borders is also pretty awesome. They always have one sale or another with CDs already at $10. Plus, my mom works in the school system, and she gets a discount there.
Most of my CDs are Wal-Mart, though. Actually, most of my CDs are off of the bookshelves in the study. They're all my Dad's, but many have found their way into my CD case.
Well, this is my last post. Talk to you all Sunday night. Take care of the guild, guys.

I bought a CD from there a while back for only $5.
