I think airbending is the strongest, not only can it be used both defencively and offencively but it can be used for travel. It also has some very strong finishing moves, for example taking the air from someones lung or placing air in someones heart. With air you can also move both water and earth by creating enough force to move it.

oceangoof I have always liked the elements! Water is the best to me! It can be peaceful or dangerous. People tend to think that water is weaker, well, I don't care! The waterbending in Avatar is really awesome! true, water can be kind and bontiful, but I can turn deadly in a heart beat.

water! because it can be peaceful yet dangerous, it can heal yet hurt. and i just love how it destroys fire :p(ok not always) but we depend on water a lot for our survival. if i have to do WaterVSFire or FireVSFire i would go WaterVSFire because i will look for your weakness:p

It's hard choose,
WATER! AIR! those are my two favorites because they are useful in a way and id like to run like the wind. lol . Earth and fire is just very Violent and dangerous and you can't really use it for fun.
