Actualy Buu did have one "attack" that could destroy the Universe in one go, which was basicly screaming really freakn' loud at the right frequency so that he created rifts in the demensional barrier theus causing the universe to colapse in on itself. *pants*
Also note that when Cell blew up a planet he was in his mid form, when he said he could destroy the solar system he was in his ultimitly perfect form. YOu could actually get really freakn' pickey and say that Cells explosion couldn't destroy the earth, since all we say it destroy a planet about the size of an island, but people never object to that, for some reason, even though it's in much the same vain as the "solar system buster" claim. Also Buu never put any reall effort into the ki blasts he used to blow up planets, leaving Buu as one of the most ill-defined DBZ characters power wise.

Never was used nor could it be proven that it was that strong. It was strong enough to open an extra dimension rift but it did not show an actual Universe destroying effect.

In fact, pretty much every character in DBZ asside from Vageto(the strongest character in the DBU) has gotten the crap get kicked out of them at some point or another. I you try your hardest and still get horribly beaten in battle, that means that there is a limit to their power. And Superman isn't always weak against cryptonite, Superman Prime is immune to it, for example. Plus the odds of someone using cryptonite against Superman at any giver time aren't very good as it's extreemly rare. The Silver Surfer and Thor also beat out DBZ characters and have no obvious weaknesses. Dark Scrider(SP?) from b*****d! is stronger than all of them and has a designated immunity to jus t about every weakness you can think of. I'm surprised I've never seen anyone complain about him, probably because his series is kinda obsqure.

In theory, there is no limit to their power. But there are still quite a few characters that can beat them. This includes Superman.

I liked the series for a while. I watched the Freeza saga. It seems that after Goku defeats "the strongest person in the universe" someone stronger comes to challenge him.
How many Dragon Ball Z charecters does it take to screw in a light bulb?
One, but it takes five episodes.

When it gets to the point that people say TAS Superman could beat SSJ3 Goku, you have to admit DBZ is being biased against. And I say this as one of the most hardcore anti - DBZ debators on the net.
