Kinera ignored her brother and stared out the window propping her head up with one hand. Today her mind was else where and not even her favorite subject could bring it back.

Mr. Leon cleared his throat and tried to go on like he usually does but he kept on spacing out a bit when pacing around the room. Fortunately for the students, this meant no homework since he never gives homework if he felt that they didn't understood it.
Passing by a student, he looked down, finding a note on the ground. The student next it to tried to grab it before Mr. Leon could do something about it but was slower than him.
The dragoon read the note, skimpping through the stuff until something caught his eye. "...There's been weird stuff going on in the park. I don't think we should go there tonight...I mean, there's been a murder there last week and I overheard my dad talking about how the police were trying to cover it..the body was torn apart all over the place.."
Mr. Leon folded the noted and looked at at the student. "Steven...I rather you keep your personal life out of the classroom and somewhere else." He placed his note on his desk and kept on going on with his broken lecture. Soon, the bell rang, dismissing the students.
On his way out, he passed Kinera and Rayl, the two students from Aquaria. He immediately sensed a touch of magic if not a suppressed magical aura. Stopping, Leon gripped his briefcase tighter, "What is going on here...?"

As Kenji walked down the hallways, Mr. Wallace, his huge english teacher, called out to him. He turned around and blinked in confusion. The teacher ran and stopped a few meters away, slighting huffing.
"Kenji, where..were you today?" He demanded.
Kenji looked unfazed as he explained how he had to go to the clinic during lunch and had laid in the bed there since the nurse wasn't in there.
Mr. Wallace looked unconviced, "Right. Then explain why the librarian found you walking into the library and not coming out until sixth period."
He was stunned. Kenji didn't see the librarian on his way in. "Um.."
The teacher sighed, "Look, Kenji. You're my best student and I don't want to do this but you're going have to come with me for detention today."
Kenji shrugged and sighed, "Fine...let's it get over with."
Both of them walked to room 184 in the north wing and Kenji got started on peeling the dry gum off of the bottom of the desks.

Thursday
The last two days have been awkard for Kenji. Just finding out that he and two other classmates of his have magical powers made things so much more complicated... The bell rang and Mr. Leon watched all the students go out except for the three students he promised.
He cleared his throat, "Well..before we go talk..any questions?"

Kinera raised her hand but didn't wait for Leon to call on her, "Yeah! How come you can shoot fireballs? And why don't you use them on problem students?" She had the picture of Leon burning down the school and grinned
|

Kenji kept silent.
Leon shook his head, smiling, "No. I'm not just a history teacher. I can use these since about your age...And if I was to shoot these firebals at students..well, I wouldn't have this job and worse." He picked up his briefcase. "Ok. It's time to go to the place where everything will be explained." Leon walked out of the classrom and made his way to his car in the teacher parking lot.

Rayl followed Kenji and Kinera out to Mr.Leon's car and since Kinera was a girl Rayl offered Kinera the front seat.

Kinera waited for Leon to unlock the car doors before getting in, "Where are we going?" Kinera thought how strange it would look if anyone was watching them. Kenji's silence was beginning to bother Kinera, "Hey Kenji, are you okay?"

Leon looked at Kinera and said as he drove into the city, "The place where it all starts."
"Hm? Yeah..I'm alright." Kenji said quietly. It seems he thinking still.

Kenji slowed down as he reached the front doors of the school, looking back to find Rayl right behind him. "Ok. We've just got here just in time." Just as he said that, the bell for first period had rung.
"..Nevermind. We're late." Kenji tiredly said. All that running from the forest, through a part of the city, and sprinting from the bus all the way here exhusted him.

Kinera drummed her fingures against the top of her desk, not paying attention to her teacher who was drowning on about something. She passed her homework forward when it was asked for but after that, nothing could capture Kinera's attention longer then a few seconds. "Where are they?" Kinera muttered under her breathe as she continued to drum her fingures.
