That's true! And he styled it. at one point, I think because he couldn't make it stick out anymore.

actually there is an anime that has one character of changing hair. if anyone has watched the whole azumanga daioh series, tomochan had short hair then later on had longer hair because she wanted to copy this star but couldn't then i think she cut it again(almost forgot)
theres also sakura when she cut her hair but then it didn't change in the shippuden
speaking of shippuden, some or most of the characters in naruto shippuden especially changed like hinata, neji,choji,there are others but i forgot some

In my opinion,if a character kept on changing the hair style,people won't know the character whom is whom ,especially some people might skipped a bit of the eps and suddenly there is a guy with a different hair style and people would thinks that it is a new character instead of the main character which makes people confused
Plus people also need to get used to the new hairstyle either,cause if they dun get used to it.Again it'd messed up the character
And I do thinks that the character's hair-style never changed is because this is how they always look like and people would know the character immediately.
OH well,just my opinion
